ANDERSON JOINS STELLAR VEGAS NEIGHBOURHOOD
Busty blonde PAMELA ANDERSON has splashed out on a brand new Las Vegas, Nevada, home - but she'll have to wait two years before she can move in (08). The two-bedroom luxury penthouse, which is reported to have cost her around $2 million (GBP1.15 million), is currently still being built, but stars are already snapping up apartments in plush Panorama Towers. Actor TOBEY MAGUIRE has also bought two apartments in the development, and his pal LEONARDO DiCAPRIO paid $1.5 million (GBP800,000) in 2004 to bag 3,300 square feet (1005 square metres) of space in tower two.
ANDERSON: 'I CULTIVATED BIMBO IMAGE'
Pin-up PAMELA ANDERSON credits her dumb blonde image with helping her maintain a fifteen-year career in showbiz. The former BAYWATCH star has carefully cultivated her reputation as a pneumatic bimbo, because it means she can surprise people with her wit and humour. She says, "That's the best part of my charm. When you have nothing to live up to you can't disappoint anyone. "So, when you form a full sentence you're a genius. I understand what I've done in my career, where I've come from, and I can see how people would think of me in a certain way. "I love that blonde image because I have nothing to prove. "I think and hope that when people talk to me and get to know me better that they'll see that I'm an intelligent, creative person."
ANDERSON COPING WITH HEPATITIS
Model-turned actress PAMELA ANDERSON claims she is largely unaffected by her Hepatitis C blood disease because she eats healthily and gets plenty of sleep. The vegetarian star and mother-of-two insists the disease, which she contracted from ex-husband TOMMY LEE in 2002, allegedly from sharing tattoo needles, is kept at bay by eating avocados. She says, "You know, my liver gets better every year. I get the biopsy, and I go to UCLA where I have a great doctor: he's the head of department - he pretty much discovered the hepatitis C. "He says, I'm getting healthier and healthier, and that I should keep doing what I'm doing. "I'm not on any treatment, but I do eat a lot of avocados."
ANDERSON REBELS AGAINST PAPARAZZI
Blonde bombshell PAMELA ANDERSON is so sick of being followed by photographers - she deliberately bores them by going shopping looking haggard. But the Canadian-born star insists the snappers won't force her to move from her home in Los Angeles, because she has fantasised about living there since childhood. She says, "(I would never consider moving) because LA is my dream place. I've always wanted to live there, and I've been doing what I've dreamt of. "I'm not going to let them change the way I live. I keep going to the grocery store with no make-up, wearing the same white tracksuit. "They just keep following me around, and I think that some day, it's going to become old news."
ANDERSON WANTS MORE KIDS BEFORE TURNING 40
PAMELA ANDERSON is concerned her biological clock may prevent her from having any more children. The former BAYWATCH star, 38, already has two kids - BRANDON, nine, and DYLAN, eight, by ex-husband TOMMY LEE - but may have to resort to drastic measures if she is to be a mother again by 40. She says, "Maybe I have to find a good sperm donor. Sometimes I think I'd like to have another baby. "I really love children, and once you have two, you might as well have ten. "But if I do have more kids it'll have to be soon - before I'm 40."
ANDERSON DISTRAUGHT BY KIDS' HAIRCUT
PAMELA ANDERSON was devastated when her ex-husband TOMMY LEE shaved off both her sons' long baby hair, because it symbolised the end of an era. The former Playboy model and BAYWATCH star feels the haircuts instantly transformed BRANDON, nine, and DYLAN, eight, from babies to boys, and the change made her nauseous. She says, "They've always had really long hair and Tommy saw them not too long ago and shaved both their heads. "When they came back, I thought I was going to throw up. "I didn't want to upset them, but it was like someone had cut my arm off. I mean, they wanted their heads shaved; they were happy. "But they look like little boys now. They don't look like babies anymore."
