Twilight's BOOBOO STEWART takes the lead in indie WHITE FROG

Twilight's BooBoo Stewart has been cast as the lead, Nick Young for Quentin Lee's low-budget film White Frog. Glee's Harry Shum Jr. will star as Nick’s older brother, Chaz. Their parents will be played by Joan Chen (Twin Peaks) and B.D. Wong (Law & Order: SVU).  Margaret Cho (Drop Dead Diva, All American Girl), Kelly Hu (The Vampire Diaries, Hawaii Five-0), Greg Sulkin (Wizard of Waverly Place, Avalon High), and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) make up most of the supporting cast.

White Frog follows Nick Young (BooBoo Stewart), a sweet Asian-American teenager with mild Asperger’s, who loses his “perfect” older brother Chaz (Harry Shum Jr.) in a car crash. In order to stay connected to Chaz, Nick digs deeper into his dead brother’s life and uncovers secrets about his older brother that threaten to tear the Young family apart.

White Frog begins shooting in almost a week. The film is being produced on a 1-million dollar budget. It will be produced by Ellie Wen of California–based Wentertainment Productions, alongside Joel Soisson of Neo Art & Logic and Chris Lee (李公明) of Chris Lee Productions.
