Although the public face is business as usual and the continued statement being "no comment", the gay sex scandal surrounding the crooner has seriously rocked Team Clay. US magazine quoted an unamed pal of Aiken's, "Everyone is worried. Nobody wants to see Clay go down." Just days after Clay's alleged internet hookup, John Paulus, shared details of their tryst with the nationwide audience of Howard Stern, the official Clay Aiken website placed all Aiken merchandise on fire sale with this notice:
2-23-06 : You Asked For It & We Heard You!

Facing media scrutiny and a potential FTC investigation in the US, Aiken decided to take an improptu vacation (with a lady friend of course) to Eastern Europe, blogging about his adventures to the $29.95 paying members of his official fanclub.
So what sights did the singer take in on his European Vacation while his fans breathlessly awaited news of his next CD? The New York Post reports that while in the Czech Republic the pop-star was spotted enjoying Prague's largest and best know gay club, Candyland.
Another sighting immediately followed within hours of the New York Post's report. The sighting, reported by Defamer had Aiken spotted conspicuously on March 8 lunching with 3 ladies (no men in sight) in Hollywood.
PR execs take note.
