E! News is refuting at least one rumor surrounding the Gaga-Lambert rumored party debacle.
Was Adam Lambert kicked out of Lady Gaga's birthday bash? This is SO FALSE. The For Your Entertainment singer was less than entertaining and allegedly rather drunk according to US Weekly (who got all their info from the Douche Who Cannot Be Named), but a source told E! News Gaga's peeps did not kick Adam out of the party.
Lambert tweeted about the eventful night, describing a fist bump gone wrong. "Was going for a celebratory gesture," he explains, "but instead by fist is all bruised and [the venue] has a hole in the ceiling." (source)
A few facts gotten wrong by every article regarding this whole she-bang:
Adam did not tweet about punching the ceiling in response to the rumors. He tweeted about it three days before the story about his other behavior was reported. In fact, it took almost five days for his supposedly disruptive behavior to be talked about by anyone, while the seemingly mild in comparison ceiling punch was mentioned offhandedly in the initial news rounds about the wild party. Why did it take so long if it was such a big party foul? (source)
Also, while Adam was not necessarily invited, he did not crash the party as he came with other party goers. He attended a party for Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters earlier that night and went with them to Gaga's birthday party. (source)
Last, Lady Gaga's birthday party was not the same night as the concert Lambert attended; it was the next night. Not only did he attend, he experience the concert from the comforts of a VIP area. Facts: US Weekly doesn't even try to check their validity or accuracy. I guess their source took some liberties with the truth. (source)
