The secret of her desperately youthful complexion is a secret no more.
Teri Hatcher has confessed to being a Botox fan. And a collagen convert.
The 41-year-old actress, who revived her career playing Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives, admitted she has had a little help in keeping her face linefree.
"In the past I've had Botox and collagen," she admitted in an interview in America. Botox injections are said to smooth out wrinkles by paralysing facial muscles while collagen plumps up parts that are losing their lustre, especially lips.
Few stars, however, admit to having such procedures, airily proclaiming that their remarkably preserved looks are the results of rigorous exercise, diet or good genes.
Miss Hatcher, however, decided to come clean - because she has apparently decided not to have such treatments again. She said she would let herself age naturally - and gracefully - instead.
"I haven't had anything done to my face in over a year," she said.
"And I don't plan to. It needs to be OK to have wrinkles."
Miss Hatcher astounded her fans when she appeared on Desperate Housewives looking virtually unchanged from her days as Lois Lane in the Superman TV series 15 years ago.
She and fellow cast member Nicollette Sheridan have both repeatedly denied having plastic surgery.
Lol at "desperately youthful complexion".
