Flight attendants had to undress pop's wildest fashionista, Lady Gaga, after her designer outfit brought on the early stages of deep vein thrombosis.
Gaga boarded the 8-hour flight in London wearing an outfit made of black and yellow tape and giant blue heels, designed by her mentor, the late Alexander McQueen.
But the tape was wound so tightly around her legs they began to swell mid-flight, forcing cabin crew to step in to avert a medical emergency.
"The outfit was so cumbersome she needed help changing out of it," an unnamed airline source told the UK's Sun newspaper.
"She was particularly miffed about ditching her heels.
"She was wearing them in memory of her friend Alexander."
It is unclear what she wore for the remainder of the flight.
