If it wasn't obvious already, the medical drama "Three Rivers" has been canceled, CBS Entertainment Chief Nina Tassler said Saturday, after some hesitation.
"At some point 'on hiatus' doesn't mean anything," she said.
But she added, "we were very proud of that show. Not too often do you get mail that lets you know as a network that eight lives were saved because of an organ donation program they learned about on our show."
Eight episodes of the drama aired before the show was pulled from the schedule in late November. It starred Alex O'Loughlin, Katherine Moennig and Alfre Woodard.
