Remember when Kelly Clarkson calling out Ryan Tedder for giving her the same track as Beyonce, and then slamming her record label RCA for forcing her to release it as a single? Well it looks like the label, Clive Davis in particular, aren't too happy about Kelly speaking out to the media and now they've threatened to pull all promotion for her latest album "All I Ever Wanted", meaning no new music video's, performances, nothing.
According to Perez Hilton, the threat was originally made before "Already Gone" was released, so the two compromised and allowed Kelly to perform her own acoustic, re-arranged version of the song. Well now that Kelly has opened her mouth the label are supposedly making good on their threat and there will be NO more promotion for Kelly's new album or single.
This isn't the first time that the American Idol winner has butted heads with Clive Davis before, with the two having an infamous feud in 2007 over Kelly's depressing "My December" album. Davis reportedly offered Clarkson $1 million for her to make her sound more commercial and record with pop hitmaker Max Martin so she could follow up the 13 million selling "Breakaway". Clarkson declined the offer and got her own way in the end, but the album received little support from the label with only one music video released.
