Cobra Starship are currently climbing the charts with their hit single "Good Girls Go Bad" which features Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, which is taken from their third album "Hot Mess" which looks likely to be their commercial breakthrough. The boys in the group were recently in an interview with MTV which took an ugly turn when a fan submitted a question asking why Ashley Tisdale's new album shares so many similarities to the band, in particular the fact that she had a song titled "Hot Mess", and that Ashley's new album was named "Guilty Pleasure" which is the same title as a hit Cobra Starship single from 2007.
"I actually had this same question myself" said lead singer Gabe "So I send Ms Tisdale a Tweet and I say "next time you want to ride our d*cks please ask permission first, love Gabe".
Gabe then continued on further with his patronising tirade against the Disney star.
"Anyways so I was like "Who is this Ashley Tisdale girl?" then I look her up and she's like been photoshopped on her [album] cover exactly like Ashlee Simpson, which is weird. She's just some girl from like High School Musical or some Disney movie.
