Access Hollywood has an article on Ashley’s Twilight DVD appereance at a party in Hollywood.
Access Hollywood rode along with Ashley on her way to meet the die-hard fans at the midnight festivities and the actress said their passion and commitment to the series is not lost on her.
“It’s kind of every actor’s dream,” she said as she approached an LA-area Hot Topic store, where legions of Twi-Hards had turned out for the release party. “I’m on top of the world.”
Filming has already begun on the next installment of the vampire franchise, and Ashley said she can’t wait to get back to work with co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
“I don’t think really any of us have done sequels before and it’s so cool to bond with someone and become a family,” she said. “I’m just…I can’t even explain how excited I am about ‘New Moon’ coming out.”
Ashley said most of the fans would have one thing on their mind at the midnight party – the guy who made the undead sexy again – Robert Pattinson.

“Rob, Rob,” she said with a laugh when asked what is the first thing Twi-Hards ask about. “Everyone’s like, ‘What is Rob like?’ And, ‘Rob’s fantastic!’ The hair thing is still a big topic of conversation.”

Lainey Gossip has a few pictures of Taylor Lautner and Alex Meraz who will play volatile wolf Paul.

Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed to work together again - playing men

Some highlights of the article:

“K-11 is where they basically put people who wouldn’t survive in the general population,” Nikki Reed revealed of the project when she stopped by the MTV studios recently for an exclusive chat. “Sometimes celebrities, people who are HIV-positive, people who have raped or beaten children — any of those things. My character [named Mousey] is a male prostitute, and he goes in and out of the jail because it is comfortable to have a place to sleep and recoup and relax and have food and shelter — [when he] gets sent back out, there is a lot of underground drug stuff that is going on. [K-11] is a world in itself.”
As we reported back in November, the duo’s gutsy “Twilight” follow-up will dramatize the little-known Los Angeles jail section set aside for in-danger convicts. Stewart and Reed plan to shoot the movie during a brief window this summer between “New Moon” and “Eclipse.”

“It’s a great project, and obviously I have a lot of faith in Kristen and her mom, Jules Stewart, who wrote the script and is directing it,” Reed said. “Kristen is playing a boy, and I am playing a man who is quite a few years older than she is. I am working more on my accent. Mousey is Mexican, and she comes from a very specific place in Southern California.”

Bobby Long says fame would never affect Robert the wrong way

Celebuzz spoke with Bobby Long, one of Robert’s long time friends and collaborator in the Twilight soundtrack. Here’s what he has to say:
After a weekend where we saw the awesome power of Twilight, we have to wonder — might fame and worldwide crowds of screaming admirers ever get to Robert Pattinson’s head?
Not as far as Bobby Long, Twilight soundrack contributor and friend, can see it.
“This is the best person all of this could ever happen to,” Long tells Celebuzz. “It would never affect Robert the wrong way.”
“He’s exactly as he always was,” says Long. “He’s very down-to-Earth and humble. Just a normal lad.”
Long and Pattinson knew each other when the two were struggling artists in London, having late-night song sessions in Pattinson’s dinghy Soho, London flat and eating pizza on his steep roof. Long also saw the full impact of Pattinson’s fame at the London Twilight premiere:
“I actually had a few people shouting my name, which was bizarre,” says Long. “But for Robert it was completely different. People were trying to pull at him and kiss him. It was hard to get into my head.”
For Long, the touch of Twilight fame has led to insane amounts of exposure. “I had been playing concerts and not that many people would show up. But then there was like 20 girls, all Twilight fans. The last three had 100 girls and there were people not allowed to get into the venue, people flying in to see the concert. It’s been insane.”
Long is even heading to the U.S. for his first concerts.

As far as Pattinson’s musical skills: “He’s extremely talented. Just as talented with his music as an actor for sure.In fact, Long would definitely purchase any Pattinson album. Actually, scratch that. “I’d hope to get it for free to be honest,” he laughs. “I wouldn’t talk to him if I didn’t.”
