Another List...Top 10 TV Shows of the '90s

We know, we know...another "best of" list.

But this isn't any old list – our Top 40 TV Shows of the '90s is just the first in a new series of countdowns in which we'll put our AOL Television seal of approval on the top 40 series of every decade.

Every other month we'll tackle another decade, going all the way back to the '50s, to recall the best comedies (hello "Lucy"), the best primetime soaps (do you remember who shot JR?), the best cop shows, animated series and groundbreaking TV shows.

So kick off 50 years of silver-screen bests with the greatest shows of the '90s, including everyone from "Beavis," "Buffy", and "Simpsons" to "Freaks and Geeks" and teens on the "Creek."

"Dawson's Creek" was definitely my favorite show, hence me using it for the main pic on this post. I also loved "Saved by the Bell", "Boy Meets World", "Family Matters", "Full House", "Step by Step"...pretty much all of TGIF. None of these made this damn list, boo. And a ton of cartoons...all the original Nicktoons ("Hey Arnold!" being my favorite) and a ton of Cartoon Network shows ("The Powerpuff Girls", "Dexter's Laboratory", "Johnny Bravo", "Cow and Chicken", "Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy"...), plus "Daria", "South Park" (still an awesome show), and some Disney stuff too. I watched "Jeopardy!" every night with my mom. I still watch that shit. I still think "The Simpsons" is overrated. Obviously I needed to go outside more during the '90s, lol. I watch "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" now (never caught it when I was a kid) and they omitted that, too. WTF! What were your favorite '90s TV shows, ONTD?
