aww go alone! seriously brave it, bb. no one will care. i saw milk yesterday on my own (i've been in london so this was literally the first chance i had) and it was so great. i was able to giggle at the guys kissing without getting weird looks...and ball my eyes out without having to be ashamed. problem was i was expecting recovery time in the toilets but my dad was right outside the theatre when it was over and i was all puffy and red :p
I almost wish I had gone alone to see Milk. I cried so fucking hard, and I couldn't control myself even after the credits were over. My friend had a field day with that.
But definitely go see Milk, even if no one else will go with you. It was absolutely amazing.
omg I honestly almost didn't read this comment because I hate spoilers but then I realized I'm not going to see the movie so i scrolled back up and i'm so glad i did. i just laughed so hard.
I agree. The humans took away from the seriousness of the movie because they seemed so ridiculously cartoonish compared to Wall-E and EVE. I still love the movie though. :)
im not gonna lie Yes Man was funny -- stupid funny but still funny. Then again I saw it for free so maybe I liked it more cause I didnt have to pay lol.
Im curious how Marley & Me will do -- I saw it the other day and seriously that movie should not be opening on Christmas day.
I actually liked Zooey in this. Her character is a little odd, quirky...but she works it and it worked for the film :D. I laughed a LOT during the movie, I was surprised that a lot of the funny parts weren't played over and over and over in tv previews. It was a nice change of pace.
They're hilarious. KUTGW. Maybe tupsipop finally met Emmy Rossum and no longer finds satisfaction in the petty gratification she gets from gossip sites.
The problem is that it's marketed as a holiday film because of it's release date. Those are usually feel good films, but it's the farthest thing from that. You finish it and kind of want to curl up in a ball and go to bed.
I know this doesn't really help either of us though
I have that Sailor Moon Christmas album. I can sing along to -parts- of the songs.
and I would go with you to see Milk
I think I'll see it with her this next weekend
None of the theatres around here play Slumdog Millionaire.
force them?
I want Slumdog to win best picture. But i won't be angry if Milk wins.
seriously go see milk.
But definitely go see Milk, even if no one else will go with you. It was absolutely amazing.
creepy captcha code alert: Spaniards Sniffin!
I'll be all over Valkyrie for Bill Nighy and Eddie Izzard <3 <3 <3
I love movies that has some sort of effect like that.
You might as well see it in theaters! it's worth it!
Smith's character is a chef who recruits people to attend his annual lavish Italian feast, featuring seven pounds of pasta!
Pound of flesh.
but no, really, what's the movie about?
Now all of my friends look at me funny when I say I thought the overall movie was meh.
Im curious how Marley & Me will do -- I saw it the other day and seriously that movie should not be opening on Christmas day.
I enjoy making them. They're not quite worth1000.com worthy, so I just pawn them off on ONTD. :)
Murray for the win!!
and he was in it a lot more than i thought he would be!
I love that he was basically Murray in Yes Man
because it was bad?
or because it made you like really really sad?
