Hey, what's THAT guy been up to?

Halloween is right around the corner. I love getting in the spirit by revisiting spooky movies. This is just an update on some of my favorite horror movie legends. Let’s see what they’re up to, shall we?

Brad Dourif

This loveable character actor, who has been recently frequenting horror conventions sporting a fu-manchu, is most easily recognized as the voice of the killer doll Chucky in the Child’s Play series. Well horror fans, hold onto your butts, because Chucky just might be back for another round of fun with Dourif behind the wheel. A remake of Child’s Play is slated for 2010.

Apart from that, Brad has a ton of other projects coming up, including The Kentucky Fried Horror Show and Zombieland.

Jeffrey Combs

After earning a loyal fanbase in the cult classic Re-Animator, Combs went on to star in a few other horror film faves including From Beyond, Castle Freak, and a beloved turn as whacko investigator Milton Dammers in Peter Jackson’s The Frighteners.

So what’s next for Jeff? He seems to have quite a few projects in the works: a film called Big Sky, and another installment of the Re-Animator series entitled, House of Re-Animator which apparently also stars William H. Macy!

Bruce “The Man” Campbell

Hail to the king, baby. This be-chinned legend is remembered for his cocky hero Ash in the Evil Dead movies. So what is he up to now?

Well, besides scoring lots of tail and being a general badass, Bruce is currently starring in the USA series “Burn Notice.” He also has a few film projects coming up, most notably the animated feature Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which you all might remember from your childhoods. Scary.

Sauce: IMDb, my own curiosity.
