Jessica Alba’s secret for dropping the last of her pregnancy pounds? A new fall wardrobe.
On September 16, the new mom spent an hour at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills and shelled out more than $16,000 — for clothes that were at least a size too small for her.
“Jessica is determined to get back her pre-baby body,” her pal reveals. “She really thinks it will help to motivate her to work hard and lose the extra weight. Of course, she already looks amazing. She already has the flattest stomach you’ve ever seen! But she’s an actress and wants to get back into the size 2 she was before she gave birth.”
Jessica, who along with husband Cash Warren welcomed daughter Honor on June 7, gained 35 pounds while she was expecting. Now, the 27-year-old works out at least three times a week with celebrity fitness guru Ramona Braganza and follows a strict diet of low-fat, high-protein foods like oatmeal, egg whites, fish and brown rice. “Jessica has always preferred healthy food,” notes Braganza.
