"We’ve never seen her looking so lovely as she did tonight. We’ve never seen her shine so bright.
Right down to the gloss on her lips, Rose McGowan was the lady in red as she left the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills today sporting a new brunette hair colour.
The foxy actress recently made headlines after she expressed support for the Irish Republican Army. After starring in Fifty Dead Men Walking, she told reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival: “I imagine had I grown up in Belfast, I would 100% have been in the IRA. My heart just broke for the cause. Violence is not to be played out daily and provide an answer to problems, but I understand it.”
Her comments were attacked by the author of the autobiography upon which the film is based, Martin McGartland who said “Rose McGowan’s comments were insulting to victims of IRA terrorism and she should apologize.”
Despite her headline-making controversy, the 35-year-old actress appeared in good spirits. Lesson to be learned: Never underestimate the power of a new ‘do!"
