AMY WINEHOUSE’s jealous husband offered a hardman £20,000 to have PETE DOHERTY “smashed to pieces”.
Jailed BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL became paranoid the troubled singers were sleeping together.
He saw a picture of dazed Amy in The Sun, feared she was back on drugs and assumed Doherty was her supplier.
He approached ex-bouncer Richard Lyttle, on remand for murder but since released without charge.
Richard, 39, said: “We were sitting in my cell and he said, ‘If you get Doherty for me I’ll give you £20,000.’ He kept saying, ‘Can you arrange it?’ and telling me to get some guys to his house. He knew the address. He said, ‘Amy’s obviously sleeping with him.’
“He knew I used to be a doorman and knew some tough people. He said he wanted him smashed to pieces.”
Blake, 24, is in London’s Pentonville Prison, awaiting sentence after admitting assaulting a pub worker then offering him money to hush it up.
After Richard was released, Blake continued to phone him from a secret mobile, begging for BABYSHAMBLES frontman Doherty to be beaten up. Richard reported him to cops but they decided to take no action.
