Lauren Conrad Goes Blonde!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One of The Hills celebs, Lauren Conrad is seen here stepping out with her BFF Lauren “Lo” Bosworth to head to an AIDS Charity event in Brentwood yesterday. The blonde compadres were picked up by a limo and whisked away like the starlets that they are. And what is this with Lauren and the blonde anyway? We have seen her hair lighten gradually over the past few weeks, and it looks like she finally took the plunge.Lauren is wearing her hair loose and wavy for the event, and since she has natural waves, this is an easy look for her.

If you are thinking about going blonde as well, now is the best time of year to do so when the temps are climbing into a season that is all about having fun. You may be shy to take the plunge from a dark to a light shade, and like Lauren here, try doing the jump slowly but surely. Nowadays, hair coloring is performed with more natural products that will not damage your hair, even with frequent dyes. You can do this over 2 or 3 different colorings until you achieve the look that you want. Make sure you use frequent conditioning, and even deep conditioning, in between colorings, as blonde involves bleach products that can be harsh on your hair. Once you have your look, use deep conditioning masks such as hot oil masks for your hair about once a week. These can be found over the counter and are a very inexpensive way to maintain lovely golden locks.
