GULFPORT, Miss. -- The bassist for the multiplatinum Mississippi rock band 3 Doors Down has been arrested again.
Todd Harrell was arrested Tuesday on a disorderly conduct charge after an alleged verbal disagreement with an airport security guard at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.
Gulfport Police said the charge involved a dispute over parking in front of the airport. The security guard placed Harrell under citizen's arrest and held him until police arrived.
The security guard filed an affidavit for the misdemeanor charge.
Harrell wasn't taken into custody. Police said he posted a $622 bond.
The arrest is Harrell's third in south Mississippi since 2002. The prior charges, both in Jackson County, involved misdemeanor assault. He was acquitted both times.
One charge accused him of assaulting a carrier for The Mississippi Press newspaper. The other accused him of assaulting a man who recorded a conversation with him."
I've been to that airport. I feel so special.
