Nice Girls

What did you do?

Mary used to be such a nice girl. She was the resident whiz kid of Liberty Lake, Minnesota—the quiet, chubby teen with the scholarship to an Ivy League school. But three years later, “Ivy League Mary” is back—a thinner, cynical, restless failure who was kicked out of Cornell at the beginning of her senior year and won’t tell anyone why. Taking a job at the local grocery store, Mary tries to make sense of her life’s sharp downward spiral.

Then beautiful, magnetic Olivia Willand goes missing. A rising social media star, Olivia is admired by everyone in Liberty Lake—except Mary. Once Olivia’s best friend, Mary knows better than anyone that behind the Instagram persona hides a willful, manipulative girl with sharp edges. As the town obsesses over perfect, lovely Olivia, Mary wonders if her disappearance might be tied to another missing person: nineteen-year-old DeMaria Jackson, whose case has been widely dismissed as a runaway.

Who is the real Olivia Willand, and where did she go? What happened to DeMaria? As Mary pries at the cracks in the careful facades surrounding the two missing girls, old wounds will bleed fresh and force her to confront a horrible truth.

Maybe there are no nice girls, after all.

Man brings positive vibes by strolling beach as Michael Myers with bloody knife

Today in "The Hurricane Halloween", a lawyer took a stroll on the beach of Galveston while Tropical Storm Nicholas rained down.

Oh, and he was dressed as Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise - complete with knife.

Police stopped by after some KILLjoy called and complained. The man?The man was island attorney Mark Metzger, and you can see him walking around and being handcuffed.

The knife was fake. He wanted to bring "positive vibes" - and now he's paying the price ( a fine).

I don't know shit about the Halloween franchise, just thought this was funny.
"Op you need to watch -" I will not.

Howard Stern rips Joe Rogan for taking Horse Dewormer

Howard Stern called out Rogan for touting ivermectin on his podcast. Stern said, "I heard Joe Rogan was saying 'What are you busting my balls [for]? I took horse de-wormer and a doctor gave it to me. Well, a doctor would also give you a vaccine, so why take horse-dewormer?"

The Fear Factor host has become a main source of information for millions of bro's who take value in Joe's word vomit. Rogan told his listeners they had no need to get vaccinated unless they fell into a specifically “vulnerable” group. “If you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, like, I don’t think you need to worry about this.”

Stern captured America's mentality on the people who chose not to get vaccinated or don't believe in science, “We have no time for idiots in this country anymore, we don’t want you,” Stern said later on Monday’s broadcast. “Stay home, die there with your COVID. Don’t take the cure, but don’t clog up our hospitals with your COVID when you finally get it. Stay home, don’t bother with science, it’s too late. Go fuck yourself, we just don’t have time for you.”

Jenny Bui (Cardi B's Nail Artist) allegedly sued Youtuber over her bad review:

Jenny Bui has been a nail tech/artist for 24 years and came to fame for designing Cardi B's elaborate nail sets. She is known as Queen of Bling for her claims that she uses real Swarovski crystals in her nail sets/designs. She is now an ambassador with nail brand OPI, and has collabed with nail brand Apres.

British youtuber Millie T posted a video in December 2019 where she flew to NYC just to get her nails done by Bui. The vlog was not sponsored nor did Millie work with Jenny Bui behind the scenes, but Bui did allow her to film the appointment. Millie stated she paid $600 for the set of nails, which included a $100 discount, and that Bui told her the crystals were real Swarovski crystals. The video received over 2 million views.

‘Ted Lasso’ Stars, Writers Score Big Paydays for Season 3

Sudeikis has already closed a deal for season three that will pay him $1 million an episode.
It includes creator fees and compensation for his role as the show’s head writer and exec producer.
It covers the two extra episodes of season 2, is up from the $250,000 to $300,000 per-episode sum he earned for seasons one and two.

Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Goldstein, Juno Temple (Keeley) and Hunt, all scored raises that take them from the $50,000 to $75,000 range they earned per episode for seasons one and two to the $125,000 to $150,000 territory. Waddingham, Temple and Goldstein have already closed rich new deals for season three. Goldstein also negotiated a second payday for his role as writer and exec producer on the series, with Hunt doing the same.

Showrunner Bill Lawrence is also seeking an increase from the five-year, eight-figure overall deal he signed with Warners in late 2018

Other actor deals are also expected to close in the coming weeks as Warners and Apple solidify a new licensing deal, with the latter taking on added costs of the show.

Further complicating negotiations is the uncertain future of Ted Lasso beyond season three. Sudeikis has been open about envisioning only a three-season run for Ted Lasso. Lawrence, Warners and Apple all would love for Ted Lasso to continue well beyond a third season. Ultimately, the future of the show is up to Sudeikis, a father of two who spends six or seven months out of the year filming the show in London.
