Social Media is Calling Out Viral TikTok User For Selling Human Bones Online

Reply to @itsmeteddybear05 Hey everyone nice to meet you! Feel free to ask any questions you might have any comments I’ll take the time to answer it!

♬ Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra) - Gotye - ur other mother

Jon Ferry (TikToker, founder and CEO of JonsBones) is a self-described “leading provider of medical human osteology.” His website sells authentic human bones “for the purpose of education and understanding.” You can purchase bones and ribs under $20, with entire human skeletons being sold for about $6,350.

Ferry has 460,000 followers since first launching his TikTok profile (@jonsbones) in February 2020. In one TikTok video that’s gone viral, Ferry shows viewers a wall covered with human spines, which he himself calls “his pride and joy.”

Since his rising popularity however, social media has started questioning exactly where the human remains are coming from and the ethics behind it all. Some osteologists have even criticized the TikToker over his collection.

Ferry defended himself on TikTok, stating that everything he does is completely legal because in the US there is no federal law prohibiting the ownership, sale, or possession of human osteology. While he is not entirely wrong, the states of Louisiana, Georgia and Tennessee outright ban it. And guess which states he doesn’t ship to? You guessed it.

Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace calls out The Killers!

Today in "Did The Killers make an Against Me! album? To give them that amount of credit is frankly insulting" news...

Laura Jane Grace pointed out that The Killers' new album cover looks like something her own band, Against Me!, would use as an album cover.

This OP did a quick Google Images search and found that many of the Against Me! album covers popping up are indeed black and white. They also have a song called White Crosses. Here is a screenshot from my findings:

I'd be here for an Against Me!-style Killers album TBH...

James McAvoy Defends His “Slightly Comedic” Man Bun to Sarah Silverman On Jimmy Kimmel Live

James McAvoy, 42, defended the “man bun” while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night, with guest host Sarah Silverman. Sorta. During the interview, Silverman, pointed out that he styled his hair in what most people would call a “man bun” – but explained why she would not call it that. “I call it a bun. I feel like ‘man bun’ is like saying, ‘lady pilot,’” she joked.

McAvoy agreed, saying, “Yeah, thank you. That joke is not getting the laugh that it should because people are confused. But they shouldn’t be. And the reason they shouldn’t be is because you’re right.”

“I decided to grow my ‘bun bun’ because we just needed to show some passage of time. I didn’t want to wear a wig, so I was like, ‘Maybe we can do something. I’ll grow my hair, and I’ll have it long but then I’ll do a man bun,’” he told Silverman.

“Also I thought, buns on a guy — not a man bun, but a bun happened to be styled by a fella. There’s just something slightly comedic about it and funny about it, right?” McAvoy continued. Then he pointed to the bun and the audience laughed. “See?” he said. “I just had to point to it, and you laughed.” After filming Together, the actor decided to keep the bun. “Now I’m just wandering through life being mildly comedic for nothing more than my bun bun.”

Kristen Bell says she would ‘not be married’ if she didn’t ‘self-regulate’ when she is on her period

Unfortunately, Kristen Bell will not leave society alone. Fortunately, it's not that bad this time!

While appearing on husband Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Kristen revealed she doesn’t think she would be married if she wasn’t able to “self-regulate” while on her period.

“We are expected to also self-regulate, and, if I acted like I ‘wanted to’ every time I’m on my period, we would 100 per cent not be married,” Kristen said. “I self-regulate, and women do on their period, and some women lose control, 100 per cent.”

She added, “I will say, sometimes, there are a lot of people that have pretty debilitating PMS, but we, and this is probably because our culture does have Midol and does have a conversation about it, we are actually training ourselves to know those things ahead of time...I have been brought up with socialisation that has told me: ‘You will feel bananas a couple days before your period. Don’t scream at everyone, even though that is what you want to do, you can’t do that. What is happening to you is in your brain chemistry and your hormones. And you have to know that knowledge is power.’”

Kristen also revealed that she and her friends often check in regarding whether their behavior is being influenced by their menstrual cycle, before wondering whether men also do the same thing with one another when it comes to their own behavioural instincts.

Kaley Cuoco offers to buy horse ‘punched’ by German Olympic coach

Kaley Cuoco is known for being an animal lover, horse enthusiast and equestrian showjumper,
Cuoco is married to professional equestrian Karl Cook, has been riding horses since she was a teen.
She heard of a troubling incident that took place during the Tokyo Olympics.

The Aug 7 incident, in which German pentathlete Annika Schleu appeared to have a teary meltdown after her horse, Saint Boy, refused to jump, and coach Kim Raisner struck him on his hindquarters with her fist.

“I feel it’s my duty and heart to comment on this disgrace. This is not Olympic show jumping. This is a disgusting classless abusive representation of our sport in so many ways. This team should be ashamed of themselves. You and your team did not do your country proud or this sport. You make us look bad. Shame on you and godspeed to any animal that comes in contact with you. This rider and her ‘trainer’ are a disgrace. I’ll buy that horse outright and show it the life it should have. Name your price”.

Matt Damon Says 'No One's Pulling Harder' for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Than He Is

During an interview on The Carlos Watson Show, Matt Damon revealed he is probably Bennifer's biggest fan.

"Oh man, no one's pulling harder than I am," Matt said, weeks after admitting he only recently stopped using a gay slur. "They're both great. I just want for their happiness. They seem pretty happy right now."

During an appearance on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show, Damon also spoke about the couple when asked if he was happy for them. "How else would I be? Like, would I be unhappy? Like, 'I hate true love,'" he replied at the time, before joking, "It sucks. Yeah. Yeah. I wish them nothing, but you know, hardship."

In July, Damon told Extra he was "just so happy" for Ben Affleck's reunion with Jennifer Lopez.

Rihanna’s Fenty Corp. Sued by Musician Over Offensive Version of Song Played at 2020 Savage X Fenty

Rihanna’s Fenty brand has been sued by a musical artist who alleges that she received death threats because the company played the wrong version of her song during Savage X Fenty’s 2020 fall show.
The wrong version of her song, titled “Doom,” includes a sample of holy Islamic proverbs.
The musical artist became the recipient of threats, including ones of decapitation.

The artist told Fenty which version of the song they should use since there were two versions.
Last October, Rihanna issued an apology for playing the song.
After the incident, Rihanna and Fenty removed the song from the fashion show recording.

This wasn’t enough for the artist, she has had to go into hiding due to the death threats, which has caused anxiety and depression. She is now seeking $10 million in damages from the singer.

Mila and Ashton Are Bullied into Bathing; Kristen and Dax Double Down

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher seem to have a good sense of humor about starting White Washing 2021, with Ashton posting on Instagram that baths have happened.

"Are you trying to injure them with water? This is ridiculous! What's going on?" Ashton exclaimed with Mila responding: "We're bathing our children."

Ashton joked that this is actually "the fourth time this week" their kids have been cleaned. "Their body oils are going to be destroyed. What are you trying to do?" he said, while Mila laughed.

MEANWHILE, Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have doubled down on not bathing. While appearing on The Today Show to promote their apparently awful game show Family Game Fight, Kristen and Dax explained:

Kristen referring to Al Roker saying girls smell worse than boys, said, "They smell like vinegar. I can’t compare them to boys. I think you’re referring to when we bathe them. It’s a smell test, it’s a foot smell test and then you just pop them in the water. But prior to that it’s too much work. It’s every couple of days."

Dax chimed in, "Especially in the summer. In summer you loosen’re just bathing them far less and you’re kind of leaving them in charge of it which they’re bad at. Then a whiff will hit you and you go ‘oh it’s time yeah in fact it’s probably time yesterday.’"

ONTD Movie Watch Party Night! Tonight, A Screening of Her Deadly Sugar Daddy on Hulu

Yes, we are really watching this.

No, this is not a joke.

No, this is not Investigation Discovery's new primetime or daytime series.

This was originally titled Sugar Daddy Murder.

Synopsis: "After graduating from college, 21-year-old Bridget moves to a new town. Desperately needing a job to support her budding writing career, she takes a job as an Executive Assistant to business tycoon Anthony Gloss."

Finding a decent trailer for this has been ... a fucking mess, but I did manage to find the whole movie, I think???? so if don't have Hulu and just want to zone out with a terrible movie (I haven't seen it yet, but come on, we know), just watch on the YT.

As always, we'll be using the Google Chrome extension Teleparty, please don't confuse this with the Watch Party option that is available on Hulu - I'll be posting the link to our party so if you'd like to join the fun you can. We'll chat, talk shit about the horrible acting skills, have fun, try to do our best Siskel & Ebert review.

Movie will begin around 9:00 PM ET, at that time click HERE.

Orson Welles once said, "The cinema has no boundary; it is a ribbon of dream," which is exactly what I associate with Lifetime movies.
