Girls Aloud have secret reunion + Cheryl writes a chapter for Sarah's book

Sarah Harding has revealed that Girls Aloud had a secret reunion this summer, marking the first time all the girls had been together in more than 8 years.

Following Sarah's cancer diagnosis announcement in August, the Girls met up at a countryside hotel and got together sharing laughs and stories while watching their (iconic) 2006 docu-series Off the Record. Sarah adds that Cheryl was mortified about most of her own very candid footage while Nadine didn't remember most of it.

Sarah also has a book out today, titled Hear Me Out and Cheryl has actually penned a chapter writing that her bandmate has"’been on my brain every waking hour – so much so that I feel like I want to be with her. Of course, that’s not possible. Sometimes, she and I FaceTime, she sounds strong, and we can chat away happily for hours. Other times she’s just wiped out. I suppose that’s the nature of it; it seems so unpredictable. Initially, I felt helpless. I struggled to find the right words to say when I spoke to her, and I didn’t know what to do or how to be. Now I just want to be there for her in any way I can. She might want to cry or rant or even have a laugh, but wherever it is, just be there."

9-1-1 Lonestar's Ronen Rubinstein: "I identify as being part of the LGBTQIA+ Community"

- In an interview for 'Gio Journal' 9-1-1: Lonestar's Ronen Rubinstein talks about playing TK and...casually comes out?
- When asked how Hollywood views actors who take on gay roles, he says "This question seems to imply that one is straight or an ally; however I identify as being part of the LGBTQIA+ Community. For me, playing T.K has been cathartic and somewhat of an awakening. For the first time ever, I finally feel comfortable and truly free to express myself, both in my life and career. Representing a LGBTQIA+ character on television is an honor and privilege – and I would do it again in a heartbeat!"
- Ronen plays TK, a gay paramedic who's also recovering from drug abuse and he dates Carlos, a gay latino cop living in Texas. The show also features a black trans male firefighter.

HBO max has announced they are going to do a two part series about the rise and death of Brittany Murphy. They promise to go behind the headlines and will feature interviews with people who were close to Brittany as well as featuring new archive footage. No date has been announced.

Victoria Monét and H.E.R. 'auditioned' for Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars/Anderson .Paak)

Singers Victoria Monét and H.E.R. alluded to "auditioning" for Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's new band). It's unclear if they are teasing an actual collaboration on Silk Sonic's album, a future tour or if they are playing with some sort of shared 70's inspired thematic (???).

Victoria released a teaser containing a snippet of Silk Sonic's new single and said she would love to open for their tour. Later she realesed a video performance of her song "Jaguar" as an audition tape.

For those not familiar, the band Justice use a large crucifix as their trademark on albums covers, merchandise, and on stage. Britney Spears Is Reportedly Considering a Tell-All Interview with Oprah Winfrey

“Britney has considered speaking out about her past, mostly because she doesn’t feel others should tell her story,” a source close to Britney Spears told Entertainment Tonight. “She’s always hated doing interviews but if she ever takes that step, Oprah would most likely be her first choice. At this point, there is no plan in the works for her to do an interview but when she does, there will be steps Britney would need to take before speaking out.”

“Britney has been much happier lately and those closest to her feel it’s because she’s received such tremendous support from her fans,” continued the source. “The release of the documentary has inspired an outpouring of more love than ever. While she hasn’t been able to make changes to her conservatorship, she’s received millions of messages from fans on social media and she feels far more understood.”

Would you watch a Britney x Oprah interview?

The Academy said no zoom appearances, better dress formally at this year's Oscars

The Academy released a letter breaking down what rules attendees/nominees/presenters at this year's Oscars have to adhere to. Here's a breakdown -

-- No zoom appearances; everyone who's going to be a part of the show will be in there person. The Oscars are taking place in two LA locations - Union Station and the DOLBY Theatre.
-- Sounds like all the nominees will be pre-recording short videos about what the noms mean to them (and maybe aired during the show?)
-- They're treating the Oscars like "an active movie set" - COVID testing on site, quarantine plans for those traveling in advance, etc
-- Give a whole bunch of rules on how winners should say their acceptance speeches??? "Make it PERSONAL" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-- Regarding dress code: "formal is totally cool if you want to go there, but casual is really not," so no sweats or jeans, nominees!
