On her 35th birthday, Australian actress, mama blogger, Kristen Stewart tribute act and vegan nutritional shake spokesperson* Teresa Palmer has announced that she's pregnant with her fourth baby with actor/director husband Mark Webber, for whom this will be baby number five.

Abigail Breslin's Father Passes Away From Covid-19

Actress Abigail Breslin has revealed that her father has passed away from covid-19. She said previously that her father Michael, 78, had tested positive for the virus on February 10th and he had been careful, not leaving home since the pandemic began except for doctors appointments.

She said in part, "It was COVID-19 that cut my sweet daddy’s life too short...he loved me and he loved my brothers and he loved my mom. And we loved him. And we always will. I miss you daddy. I can’t wait to see you again."

Better Call Saul's Final Season Likely Not Airing This Year



Thanks to COVID-19 and AMC's unwavering commitment to the Walking Dead universe, Better Call Saul's sixth and final season is unlikely to air this year. AMC Networks CEO Josh Sapan cited COVID-related production delays and a fuller-than-usual slate of Walking Dead shows on an earnings call Friday, adding that "it does look likely, at this point, that 'Better Call Saul' will move into the first quarter of 2022. That's the way we're seeing it right now."

Better Call Saul is scheduled to resume production on its final season next month; no premiere date has been set. The 10-episode fifth season aired from February to April 2020.

Jonathan Majors in Talks to Star in Spike Lee-Produced ‘The Realm of Cthulhu’ for Netflix



A new Netflix project was announced this week, a Lovecraftian horror movie titled "Gordon Hemingway & the Realm of Cthulhu".

Spike Lee is a producer of the film, with Stefon Bristol (See You Yesterday) directing. Variety reported that the film is based on an original screenplay by Hank Woon, with rewrites by Fredrica Bailey.

Jonathan Majors, who was recently seen as Atticus Freeman in HBO’s “Lovecraft Country” is in talks to star as the title character.

"Gordon Hemingway & the Realm of Cthulhu is 'set in East Africa in 1928 and centers on Gordon Hemingway, a roguish Black American gunslinger, who teams up with the elite warrior Princess Zenebe of Ethiopia to rescue the country’s kidnapped regent from an ancient evil.'" The movie is NOT based on any of Lovecraft's works.

According to news reports, Johnny Depp's French village is up for sale again. He first listed his French estate back in 2015 and 2016, the asking price- between $25 million and $63 million. Now he's listed it again for $55 Million

Depp bought the entire French village 17 miles north of St. Tropez in 2001. Depp decorated each building himself.

JYP Entertainment Releases Statement About Stray Kids’ Hyunjin’s Future Activities



Follow up to this , this and this post


As it has been reported in the past few days, several South-Korean celebrities (including idols and actors) have been accused of being bullies in the past, one of those idols is Hyunjin , member of kpop band Stray Kids, JYP entertainment (the company that manages the group) released several statements in the past few days.

At first they said they were investigating but also stated that several of the claims were false, but when more victims started to came up they couldn't deny anything anymore and released and statement apologizing for Hyunjin's past actions (even if they were very vague about those actions and mantained they weren't sure about what happened because all the people involved gave conflicting information) , the agency on the statement said we will take more careful measures regarding the trainee and artist selection process that we weren’t alert about before.


The idol apologized with a hand written letter:

Hello, this is Stray Kids’ Hyunjin.

First of all, I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt by my improper actions during my school years. Looking back on times when I was more lacking, I am embarrassed and have no excuse. I have realized that my actions and words that did not know how to be considerate of others have hurt others. It is too late, but I will deeply reflect on myself.

Whether it was intended or not, I don’t think I can be forgiven at all for giving unforgettable to pain to someone.
I am deeply reflecting on myself as I know well that just because I apologized and they accepted the apology doesn’t mean that the pain I gave in the past will be erased entirely.

Although this is shameless, I want to express gratitude to those who were hurt by me for allowing me to directly meet them to belatedly apologize and ask for forgiveness through this letter.

If there happen to be others who have been hurt by my improper actions during my school years who I cannot meet directly, I want to express my apologies at least through writing like this.

I sincerely apologize for causing deep disappointment to the many people who have supported me.

Today is WayV's Ten his birthday. Let's take a look at his career so far!

Today is the birthday of Thai kpop idol Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul aka TEN, member of NCT/WayV and SuperM. A great opportunity to look at some moments from his career so far!

NCT U/Debut:
In 2016 Ten debuted officially with what still remains one of NCT's best songs "7th Sense".

Solo:
After 7th sense it was quiet for a bit, suffering from a knee injury and not debuting in any of the new NCT subunits. In 2018 Ten came back with "Baby Don't Stop" and SM station solo song "New Heroes".





Wayv:
In 2019, during a time when kpop groups weren't allowed to promote in China, a new chinese based NCT subunit was created called WayV. Ten's 2nd debut. Let's take a look at last years MAMA performance of "Turn Back Time".



The members of WayV all got the opportunity to do a project on their own. Getting to make something they wanted to make. Ten in collaboration with WinWin created their own modern dance choreograpy which resulted in this great dance performance:



On the 10th of March WayV will be releasing a new mini album sure to be filled with new bops.

SuperM:
Ten debuted for the 3rd time, also in 2019, with kpop super group SuperM. The group debuted with the song "Jopping", a combination of jumping and popping. The self titled EP went on to debut at #1 on the Bilboard 200.



NCT 2020:
In 2020 all 23 members of NCT got together for NCT2020. Ten, always the busy bee, was in both title tracks for part 2. Here we have a back to back performance of "Work It" & "90s Love" with a solo dance interlude by TEN for the Asia Artist Awards 2020.



Bonus/Hit the Stage:
In 2016 Ten participated in the Korean danceshow Hit The Stage. Ten shows off his flexability during this interesting performance. Make sure to watch till the end.

Crew Member told to remove BLM shirt on set of Gone Mom


- Gone Mom a TV movie is currently filming in Vancouver. Earlier this week a crew member was wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt but was told by a producer they had to remove it because it was "too political." When interveiwed the crew memember wished to be known as Billy because they were afraid of eventually losing work. Billy evenutally left the set and told producers they wouldn't be returning to work the next day.
- The next day more crew came wearing BLM shirts but were also told to remove them.
- When actors of the movie found out what happened they apparently began to call their managers to figure why that had happened some even threatened to walk off set.
- The word quickly spread on social media with calls for other productions in Vancouver to wear BLM as a show of support and solidarity with Billy. Crew on the set of shows like Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist shared pictures on social media of themselves and others on set wearing BLM shirts or masks - some crew even used gaff tape to spell out BLM on their clothes. There is also a call for everyone in the industry to wear BLM this upcoming Monday.
- A spokesperson for the production company, Slumber Productions, said that they encourage their staff to support any political or social issues they are passionate about and that's what led to a "misunderstanding" of Billy and others being ordered to remove their BLM shirts.
- The producer in question was removed from set and has since apologized.
- Billy defended their choice to wear the shirt saying that Black Lives Matter is not a political stance.
