Woody Allen & Soon-Yi Previn Hit Back At HBO’s ‘Allen V. Farrow’: “These Documentarians…Put Together A Hatchet Job Riddled With Falsehoods” https://t.co/6srzEtNHHv— Deadline Hollywood (@DEADLINE) February 22, 2021
HBO aired the first episode of its four-part docuseries “Allen v. Farrow” on Sunday, setting up for a deep dive into the 1992 custody battle between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow. Allen was accused of molesting their 7-year-old daughter Dylan Farrow and had also begun a relationship with Mia’s college-age daughter from another relationship, Soon-Yi Previn.
Most of the series was apparently done in secret to prevent Allen from interfering or smearing the Farrow family in the press. Last night, Allen released a statement regarding the series:
These documentarians had no interest in the truth. Instead, they spent years surreptitiously collaborating with the Farrows and their enablers to put together a hatchet job riddled with falsehoods. Woody and Soon-Yi were approached less than two months ago and given only a matter of days ‘to respond.’ Of course, they declined to do so.
As has been known for decades, these allegations are categorically false. Multiple agencies investigated them at the time and found that, whatever Dylan Farrow may have been led to believe, absolutely no abuse had ever taken place. It is sadly unsurprising that the network to air this is HBO – which has a standing production deal and business relationship with Ronan Farrow. While this shoddy hit piece may gain attention, it does not change the facts.
The filmmakers (Kirby Dick, Amy Ziering and Amy Herdy) said that they had reached out to Allen, Soon-Yi Previn as well as Moses Farrow and received no response.
For years Woody Allen’s rep pressured me and every journalist who covered him to do so a certain way. Dangled and withdrew access based on an outlet’s willingness to ignore his daughter. Watch the doc or don’t, but don’t be naive about Allen’s ability to communicate his own POV.— Rebecca Keegan (@ThatRebecca) February 21, 2021

Megan and her wack ass self/hair, whole heartedly said the fact of who she is, she should be a priority and able to get the vaccine first. She literally said fuck frontliners and the elderly, I WANT TO SKIP THE LINE TO GET THE VACCINE! She also wants Biden to fire Dr. Fauchi and replace him with someone who actually “does understand science”.
Many of you can keep worshiping at the alter of Fauchi. I’m not a phony - i will not go on tv and lie saying one thing privately and another on air. This is my opinion. We need someone else in charge of coronavirus messaging and leadership.— Meghan McCain (@MeghanMcCain) February 22, 2021
Back in 2018, Ethan Hawke criticised the overpraising of the superhero genre in film, saying that 'Logan' was good but the rest of it was just big business that wasn't good for film.
Oh, how the worm turns. A couple years down the line, and Hawke was announcing his role in the MCU series Moon Knight alongside fellow superior thespian, Oscar Isaac.
So what changed his mind?
Well, according to his interview with The Ringer, it was said thespian, Oscar Isaac!
"A lot of it… is Oscar to me,

-With DC Comics 'Superwoman' Rebirth title hitting its 5 year anniversary this year, creator/writer/artist Phil Jimenez went down memory lane of the hassles and hopes he had for the title.
-Phil was on the title for the first 8 issues before leaving due to creative reasons. He wanted the title to be an exploration of women, friendship, and allyship, and their intersections with race and class; sibling rivalry, stolen credit; and the cost of revenge; burgeoning LGBTQ love; panic and anxiety.
-Due to all of the events going on in DC and Superman, Superwoman was rendered as non-canon pretty quickly.
-He was told that he needed to appeal more to Trump supporters
-His proudest moment of Superwoman was when he was able to let Lana Lang call Lex Luther a giant piece of shit.

Vogue figure André Leon Talley is being dragged out of a $1 million New York home by former CEO of Manolo Blahnik alleging Talley is $500,000 behind in rent.
Talley has fallen out with his former close friend, high-powered exec George Malkemus — who expanded Manolo Blahnik in the US. Malkemus launched legal action against Talley to get him out of the White Plains property.
Talley has long insisted that the historic 11-room colonial home, with sumptuous gardens at 75 Worthington Road, is his own. But court papers allege that the real owners are Malkemus and his business partner and husband Anthony Yurgaitis, who bought the home in 2004 for just over $1 million.

There are no Black journalists among the 87 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, according to the report, and the organization is continuing to allow its members to behave in ways that call into question their ethics https://t.co/Qt5uECleQC— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) February 22, 2021
There are zero Black journalists among the 87 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
The HFPA is allowing its members to receive lavish perks from the studios and networks whose projects they later write about and vote on.
It is paying its own members substantial amounts of money to serve as officers and on various committees.
The group arbitrarily rejected "well-credentialed foreign journalists" who apply for membership in favor of people who "aren't serious journalists."
An HFPA spokesperson said those claims are "entirely false, and the organization is "committed to addressing" its lack of diversity.
Sia's widely panned and controversial film Music with multiple major noms remains inexplicable.
For Emily in Paris Paramount TV flew more than 30 HFPA members to France in 2019 to visit the set.
They were well treated : five-star Peninsula Paris hotel, a news conference/lunch at the Musée des Arts Forains.
HFPA members were among the beneficiaries of a $125,000 emergency relief fund for journalists impacted by the pandemic that the organization had set up. The fact that they themselves then applied for relief has not been reported.
* In the interview with Shapiro, she talked about how Pascal wasn’t fired for posting a 2018 tweet where he compared undocumented children in cages in the U.S. to Jewish people in concentration camps. Shapiro points out how it did seem like a double standard that Disney and Lucasfilm didn’t take similar action with Pascal as they did with Carano;
* “I adore Pedro. I know he’s said and done some hurtful things. We had an agreement after we realized we were a little bit politically different. We had an agreement that, first and foremost, you’re a human being. And you’re my friend first.”
* After the #FireGinaCarano trend hit, she said that Disney was watching her “like a hawk”. She referred back to the double standard and said that while all this was happening, she saw that people on the same production said anything they want.
* Pascal has not commented publicly about Carano's Mandalorian firing.

My darling peasants and poors, I have been given my life's mission from God herself, and that is to avenge the INJUSTICE that is Adam Driver's career. I've long doubted the rise of Mr. Driver, who aesthetically is woefully unprepared for the rigors of mainstream fame, but who also surreptitiously appealed to my lack of taste with a certain familiarity in his performance style and tone, and also because he has good shoulders. Until today, I allowed his lumbering presence to inhabit my safe space, but then, like a GOOP-brand dildo I ordered with a stolen credit card, it came to me. This off-brand, Hot Topic Lurch had weaseled his way into the hearts and minds of midwestern moms and Hunter Harris on the back of none other than 1999 made-for-TV Jesus himself, Jeremy Sisto.
Now, you may be asking yourself, "who the fuck is Jeremy Sisto?" And to you I say, "I think you left your Cranberries CD on the quad. Please excuse yourself before somebody snags it." For those of TASTE, Jeremy Sisto had a profound impact during their prepubescent years, guaranteeing a lifetime of being attracted to unavailable men who will use your friends for weed and then leave you in a convenience store parking lot to be robbed in a mini dress. Rollin with the homies, straight into my masturbatory fantasies.
So, how does this apply to the personification of a Morrissey Muppet Baby, Adam Driver? Well, upon a 20-years-delayed viewing of the impeccable Six Feet Under, I was startled by a 2001 performance that looked eerily reminiscent to a Girls deleted scene that was cut for being too thought-provoking. At that moment it hit me as strong as the male gaze in Sisto's 2003 film, Wrong Turn, Adam Driver is NOTHING but a Jeremy Sisto impersonator. The vocal tone, the performance style, the puppy dog sadness masking major misogynistic tendencies, it's classique Sisto. But for some insane reason, he's stuck on copaganda procedurals and Maroon 5 music videos, while Adam Driver is dick deep in Oscar noms. Not anymore. Not in Biden's America. I mean, Maroon 5? What terrible war crime would one have to commit for such a inhumane punishment?
TELL ME THIS IS NOT AN IMPROVED UPON ADAM DRIVER PERFORMANCE!!!!!

A debate is raging on TikTok that is even more divisive than politics. In fact, it's about how you divide the hair on your head.

America is split... down the center and down the sides!

TALK OF THE TOWN: Emma Watson 'steps back from acting' https://t.co/zJPY577Oey— Emma Watson Peru (@emmawatsonperu) February 22, 2021
Emma Watson has reportedly gone 'dormant' career-wise, according to her agent/publicist. This is Hollywood lingo for 'she's given up acting', according to the DM.
Checking her IMDb, this may not be a surprise since she filmed one movie in the past five years (only because Emma Stone dropped out of 'Little Women' at the last minute and Sony/Amazing Amy was desperate to work with her).
-- Is allegedly stepping down to spend time with rumored fiance Leo Robinton.
-- Apparently lives in seclusion in Ibiza where she's living the rich tax-evading life of drinking smoothies and reading the papers, as per the final journalists at the Mail. I guess I would too with a net worth of $80M.
-- Her PR people state she 'is not taking on new commitments'.
For those who may not believe the Mail, Emma's official Instagram is using the same 'dormant' lingo, for the past few months (whatever that means): https://www.instagram.com/emmawatson/
