Celebs tweet about Georgia Senate runoffs ahead of election tomorrow

Georgia polls shows the two Senate runoffs on Tuesday are within the margin of error and way too close to call. If Democrats win both runoffs in Georgia, they get 50 seats overall and a majority on January 20 with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris breaking a 50-50 tie. If Republicans win either seat, they will hold the Senate majority.

Without Game of Thrones, HBO lost half their subscribers

According to a Variety round-up of the ratings winners and losers of 2020, "Without Game of Thrones, HBO saw more than half of its adults 18-49 linear audience disappear in 2020." Is it because the finale sucked so much? Or because HBO didn't have another fantasy series to replace it with? When Game of Thrones ended, HBO replaced it on Sunday night with Big Little Lies instead. HBO has Westworld and His Dark Materials, as well, but those shows haven't connected with audiences the same way Game of Thrones did.

Michael Keaton will play Batman in DCEU replacing Ben Affleck

Last week New York Times reporter Brooks Barnes profiled DC Films President Walter Hamada. In her article, she confirms that both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will reprise their Batman roles in the upcoming Flash film.

Barnes later clarified on Twitter that Keaton will remain an active part of the DCEU and officially replace Affleck as that universe's Batman. RPattz will be considered the Batman of "Earth-2." The multiverse will be introduced in said Flash film to allow for other interpretations of characters to exist and be explored.

Sia says casting Maddie Ziegler in ‘Music’ over autistic actor was “nepotism”

Sia responded once again to the controversy surrounding the movie.

“I realised it wasn’t ableism,” she said of her casting decision. I mean, it is ableism I guess as well, but it’s actually nepotism because I can’t do a project without her. I don’t want to. I wouldn’t make art if it didn’t include her.”

Sia considered herself as Ziegler’s “bonus mum”
Ziegler expressed concern on the first day on set that viewers would think she was “making fun” of autistic people.

Sia explained "I won’t let that happen. Last week I realised I couldn’t really protect her from that, which I thought I could. We sent it off to the Child Mind Institute and she received 100 percent as performance accuracy. I realise that there are some things I can’t protect her from as much as I try.”

Whole Foods CEO To America: You Don’t Need Healthcare, Just Eat Better

Whole Foods CEO John Mackey is trending on Twitter and being dragged over his comments about healthcare in America. In an interview on Freakonomics Radio, Mackey told host Stephen Dubner that Americans don’t need healthcare, they just need to eat better, CNBC reported.

“I mean, honestly, we talk about health care. The best solution is not to need health care,” said the rich and out of touch pendejo. “The best solution is to change the way people eat, the way they live, the lifestyle, and diet...There’s no reason why people shouldn’t be healthy and have a longer health span. A bunch of drugs is not going to solve the problem.”

Mackey is reportedly worth $75 million dollars.
