Hillary Clinton has cast her fashion vote.

The Democratic presidential hopeful backed out of a Vogue fashion shoot
(earning criticism from editor Anna Wintour) but was game when it
came to spoofing her style in the Fashion Police section of the new
issue of Us Weekly, on stands tomorrow.

Of a tropical-colored, ankle length coat at a Feed the Children event
in 2000, Clinton quipped: "I'm a big believer in recycling -- even
carpets!"

She also mocks her own wedding dress, joking, "They got the idea for
the Seinfeld 'puffy shirt' from me."

Clinton has attracted the likes of America Ferrera and Amber
Tamblyn
, while opponent Barack Obama is endorsed by Oprah and
Scarlett Johansson.

1960s
Clinton (seen here at age 21) was a class leader at Wellesley College,
but her striped pants were hardly an act to follow! "It's not my
fault," she tells Us. "It was the '60s."

1975
Here comes the bride! Clinton wed former president Bill when she was
27, and has called the pair's union "a partnership." But look out, Larry
David: Clinton's white wedding may give Jerry Seinfeld a run for his
money. "They got the idea for the Seinfeld puffy shirt from me," Clinton
tells Us.

1992
While teeing off for mini-golf during husband Bill's presidential
campaign, the former first lady shudders to think of her athletic attire:
"Now you know why I stick with pantsuits."

1993
Hitting the links in Vineyard Haven, MA, Clinton tipped her hat, but
not to her sense of fashion. Her shorts-and-tank combo "was not exactly a
hole in one," Clinton confirms.

1993
Clinton pulled out all the fashion stops to walk in her hubby's
inaugural parade in Washington, D.C. "I'll never forget that day...or that
outfit!" she says.

1997
"This outfit isn't that bad; it's just an optical illusion," Clinton
jokes of the frock she donned for a photo op with an injured Bill Clinton
in Washington, D.C.

1998
"Sometimes the Christmas spirit gets the best of me," the former first
lady says, looking back the selection she sported to celebrate the
holiday.
