Marvel has yet to officially announce the casting, but production began on the Disney+ series "Hawkeye" and Hailee Steinfeld was spotted on set with Jeremy Renner, confirming that has in fact been cast as Kate Bishop.
Furthermore, it was announced yesterday that Florence Pugh has also joined the cast of the show, reprising her role of Helena Belova from the upcoming "Black Widow" movie.
Three decades. Two friends. One hell of a story. Starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke and based on the bestselling novel by Kristin Hannah, Firefly Lane premieres on February 3rd.
A lot of movies are premiering this weekend, some after a few weeks in select theaters, others coming directly to digital or streaming. Two of the most notable home releases are Mank and Ammonite, both of which were featured individually in previous roundups. Presumed Oscar contender Nomadland is only making a week-long appearance in (virtual) theaters to fulfill award eligibility requirements, alongside potential International Feature Film contender Another Round from Denmark, so make sure to catch those this week if you’re interested.
The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Six” - Paramount, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Universal, Columbia/Sony and Disney. All films listed will be available at their respective sources on Friday unless otherwise noted. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have already come to VOD: November 25th, November 20th, and November 13th.

TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai) swung by Genius to perform their latest, and most popular single to date, BLUE HOUR. Their newest EP "Minisode1: BLUE HOUR" shot to #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, and it premiered at #25 on the Billboard 200 chart, barely edging out Kylie Minogue's (incredible) DISCO album which peaked at #26.
BLUE HOUR sold 303,190 copies in the first week of release - that's 122,181 copies more than their last album “The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY” that was released in May, which sold 181,009 copies its first week. The boys' debut album “The Dream Chapter: STAR", released back in March 2019 (do I even remember what outside was like?), peaked at No. 140 on Billboard 200 with only 7,000 in US sales. They're growing up so fast!
Have you decided to stan the kings of live vocals, ONTD?
Tributes have been paid to Mad Max star Hugh Keays-Byrne, who has died aged 73. The late actor was most famous for playing the villain Toecutter, opposite Mel Gibson, in the 1979 post-apocalyptic, dystopian action movie. British filmmaker Brian Trenchard-Smith confirmed on Facebook that he had died on Tuesday.
RIP Hugh Keays-Byrne 😔 It’s amazing you were able to play an evil warlord so well cause you were such a kind, beautiful soul. You will be deeply missed my friend. pic.twitter.com/kXDhNs5jEU
In "Big Baller" news, Warner Bros has said "Yep, this shit ain't ending anytime soon, let's compromise." and decided, instead of Holding things for the unforseen future, you'll have the oppertunity to go to the theater safely (Worldwide, a few US cities) or just watch the stuff on HBO Max, in an attempt to please Wall Street.
The first such WB movie to suffer - I mean, benefit from this is, of course, "Wonder Woman 1984".
Other movies getting this treatment include "Dune", "The Suicide Squad", "In The Heights", "Space Jam 2", "Tom and Jerry", "Matrix 4: Cast Party Boogaloo", and others. Surprisingly, I don't see "Conjuring [#]: The Devil Made Me Do It", maybe because that's New Line?
These movies will still be theatrically released Worldwide.
UPDATE:
Conjuring 3 will indeed be included. Crisis averted.
In *Darth Vader no* news, The long-standing Radio Disney is going the way of Disney Adventures magazine.
AKA, it's over.
The move is related to the effort to have Disney Branded Television focus more on upping production of kids’ and family content for Disney+ and Disney Channels AKA; Disney is turning to a totally streaming company with a theme park or 5 attached.
The shutdown will directly affect 36 full- and part-time employees, joining their 32,000 other laid-off Cast Members.
The service was instrumental in pushing tween-pop of The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Demi Lovato into our ears.

+ Vera Farmiga, Florence Pugh, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon will all appear in the Marvel series. + Farmiga is attached to play Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). + Fee will play a character named Kazi, most likely short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, aka the villain Clown. + Dalton will play Jack Duquesne, most likely Jacques Duquesne or Swordsman, an early mentor of Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). + Newcomer Cox will play Maya Lopez, the true name of the Marvel character Echo, a deaf Native American who is capable of perfectly copying another person’s movements. + McClarnon will play William Lopez, likely a take on Maya’s father Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln from the comics. + And Pugh will reprise the role of spy and assassin Yelena Belova, the sister of Black Widow.
TikTok star turned wannabe singer Dixie D’Amelio (better known as Charli D’Amelio’s older sister) has deleted the teaser for her upcoming song with rapper Wiz Khalifa after receiving overwhelming negative criticism from viewers.
TikTok users particularly roasted her 3rd grade lyrics: “One day, one day / I was really really really really sad.”
She then deleted the clip and tweeted, “I’m just trying to have fun. I love music and photoshoots. But I’m losing passion for everything now.”
“I literally can’t be excited about ANYTHING,” she added. Those tweets have since been deleted.
Her cool stage mom also got involved and released a lengthy statement on the matter. “To those shitting on people who are doing things they love and are getting attention for it — you should find something you love and go do it!” said the cool mom. “To anyone who takes the time to type hate towards someone who is having fun and doing what they love, please know you are a classic case of a weak person who is truly pathetic. If you are a person who wants to take something you love and are passionate about to the next level put in your work and figure it out," she added. "Ask for help, do your research, Google it!! But what you don’t do is be an asshole to someone else that has done the work you aren’t willing to do.” Ohh, sick burn!
Dixie has since uploaded a new extended clip on Twitter and still plans to drop her not-so-highly anticipated single at 10am PST (Dec 4).
I've decided to get in the holiday spirit and give ONTD a chance to redeem themselves from some questionable decisions in previous movie polls. So let's collectively talk about some of our favorite holiday movies and vote for the best of the best!

Noah Cyrus is under fire after reposting Harry Styles Vogue photos saying “He wears this dress better than any of u nappy ass heauxs”. Her response seems to come after Candace Owens criticized Harry for wearing a dress. You can see Candace’s original tweet by clicking the right arrow.
Of course Noah has now apologizing claiming she did not know the history of the word “nappy”.
Have y'all heard of Deuxmoi? It's an Instagram account that posts anonymous celebrity gossip, blind items, and star sightings. Like a CDAN for gen Z.
Well, Hailey Bieber claims on her Instagram stories that she knows who is behind the account. It is run by a mysterious woman who has never revealed her true identity. But Hailey apparently knows!
You see, earlier this year, Us Weekly wrote a story about Hailey being pregnant. The magazine's source was allegedly based on a (false) rumor from DeuxMoi. So, she and Biebs are very salty about it.
As ambassador of the brand, Stewart was the only attendant for the latest runway of the Rue Cambon fashion house, this due to the pandemic restrictions.
Le Château des Dames served as the location for the event, with the actress sitting by herself as models walked showing off the new collection, akin to a private shopper.

Earlier this year, Jodie Comer had been cancelled, after rumours of a new relationship with a Trump supporter circulated online. Jodie has revealed why she didn't respond to the scandal at the time.
"It was really shocking. It was the first time I had ever been dragged into something like that. And it wasn't just me; it was my family. I had seen the absurdity of what I was being accused of, and what my partner was being accused of... I decided for my own health that I was not going to try and convince these people otherwise. I just wasn't going to do it."
We take a moment to appreciate the television that got us through 2020 — and bid the year's worst shows a hearty get-the-hell-out. https://t.co/NnixUskJ5D
The Crown (Netflix) Diana joins the family and is promptly tossed into the royal threshing machine by Queen Elizabeth II and the system she lives to uphold. Throw in a virtuosic performance by Gillian Anderson as the Iron Lady, and this is The Crown’s most humane, poignant, and impeccably-rendered season yet.
After repeatedly being accused of cultural appropriation and facing backlash over using a fake Jamaican accent, Chet Haze addressed the animosity via Clubhouse. https://t.co/ZsKakLWB0q
He took part in a Clubhouse chat about it, defending his actions. "Guys, it’s really as simple as this. If I get on a binge and I watch a bunch of English gangster movies, and I go around, ordering a coffee at Starbucks and I’m with my friend and I go, ‘Give me a latte, guvna.’ I’m not shitting on English people."
Members of the Clubhouse discussion tried to explain to Hanks that the British haven't faced oppression the way Jamaicans have, and therefore, his comparison is moot. "I understand that. I’m aware of the history. I’m aware of that. I’m not trying to offend anybody."
