Instagram launched its short-form video feature, Reels, broadly on Wednesday, in an effort to compete with TikTok.

It can be found within Instagram itself by selecting "Reels" at the bottom of the camera. Allows users to create 15-second clips and share them publicly or with friends.

Editing software operates like TikTok. Overlaying audio, augmented reality effects and video clips.

Reels was launched in Brazil last November, it's now available in the U.S. and several other markets.

Instagram is swooping in at a vulnerable time for its largest competitor. Trump administration set its eyes on TikTok, with risk of being banned over national security concerns.

Microsoft has emerged as the leading candidate to take over TikTok.

Amanda Seales is opening up about why she left the Real. Amanda joined the show in January 2020 and announced her departure in June.

In an interview on August 1 with The Neighborhood Talk 2, Seales said:

"I left The Real because it was breaking my spirit ... I was being asked to not talk about certain things that felt like a betrayal to my people.

And then on top of that, I didn't want to be somewhere that I felt like people weren't being honest with me and where people felt scared of me because of my Black woman-ess."

There's been 20 Best Picture winners this century, I eliminated 4 with the lowest metacritic scores: A Beautiful Mind, Gladiator, Crash, and Green Book. In Round 1 you guys eliminated The Shape of Water, Hurt Locker, Million Dollar Baby, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Slumdog Millionaire, Argo, The Artist, and The Departed. In Round 2, 12 Years a Slave, The Kings Speech, Spotlight, and No Country for Old Men were eliminated. And finally in Round 3, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and Chicago were eliminated.

I have no way of knowing if you've seen every movie, so vote however you want and skip some if you want, I don't care.

With a 1 billion fortune up in the air, the divorce between Dr. Dre and Nicole Young is going to heat up.
End of June that Nicole filed for divorce from him after 24 years of marriage.
It was shared that Dre and Nicole have an iron-clad prenuptial agreement in place.
Nicole later stated two years after signing the paperwork, Dre destroyed the document.
Dr. Dre didn't feel ashamed of asking his wife to sign an agreement and never stated that it was void.
He didn't force her to do anything that she didn't want to and she even had her lawyer look over the paperwork.
Dre is willing to pay her expenses and spousal support.
Nicole claims that he amassed much of their fortune during the marriage, she's deserving of a bit more.

Leah Remini and Tony Ortega predicted Scientology strategy to ask members close to Danny Masterson to publicly say they're not 'active members' (note that Scientology asked them to use these terms and not 'ex members') to protect them. I'm not suprised that Laura played an active role, there was talk of her involvement as a witness at one of the Danny's parties.

Laura Prepon's publicity team is doing damage control, telling the New York Post that she isn't "active" in #Scientology right now, but there's a good reason they want to give that impression — at one point, she was helping the church silence a Danny Masterson rape accuser.

Danny Masterson has been charged with 3 counts of rape going back to 2001. The Church of Scientology attempted to help  this pig cover up his crimes by harassing the victims, even going as  far as to allegedly kill one of their dogs in an attempt to silence her.
He faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted. An arraignment has been scheduled for Sept.18.

Ryland Adams, who has been in a relationship with Shane Dawson (YouTuber who is facing accusations of paedophilia, bestiality, racism, manipulation of his underage fans and ruining a 19yr old's career) for four years, started the video by saying he wanted to acknowledge what had been going on with Shane before he resumed posting again. "I understand that Shane's made highly insensitive and offensive jokes and I know that while they were far in his past it's hard to separate that person from who he is today, especially when you've seen them in realtime and you're hurt right now," he explained.

"I can never take that away from you and I would never say that you have to take his apology or even ask you do that. At some point, I hope we can champion change and growth over cancelling someone all together or going for the absolute worst on the internet and I say this because I know Shane has had to address his past more than most people in the world."

He added: "It's forced him to look into what he did, its impact, and really truly grow from that. I think if you've been watching Shane for a long time you know he's a genuine person with good intentions."

Ryland went on to say that everyone has something in their past that they're not proud of. "I don't think that takes away from the incredible content he's put out over the years," he continued.
