Hartley Sawyer, who played The Elongated Man on the CW's Flash series, has been fired from the show after old tweets resurfaced that made references to sexual assault, racism, homphobia and misogny.

The tweets were made before Sawyer joined the show. While he no longer has a Twitter account, the tweets have been circulating for the past two weeks.

Here are some of the tweets that have surfaced:

"Enjoyed a secret boob viewing at an audition today."
"The only thing keeping me from doing mildly racist tweets is the knowledge that Al Sharpton would never stop complaining about me."

Sawyer apologized on Instagram, saying he is ashamed of his horrible attempts at getting attention and had no thought of the hurt they would cause.

If 2020 is also taking Bon Appétit out then so be it, so sick of these companies taking advantage of minorities just to fill their "diversity quota".

EDIT: There's more tea in the comments, thanks everyone!

Dan Radcliffe responds to JK Rowling's remarks: "Transgender women are women."

Daniel Radcliffe penned a post for The Trevor Project, a charity he has long been associated with, to push back against JK Rowling's anti-trans remarks this past weekend. Some choice quotes:

Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I. According to The Trevor Project, 78% of transgender and nonbinary youth reported being the subject of discrimination due to their gender identity. It’s clear that we need to do more to support transgender and nonbinary people, not invalidate their identities, and not cause further harm.

He also recognizes that he basically owes his life as it is to JK Rowling, but that he still felt compelled to say something. He also hopes people that cherish the HP books will continue to hold onto what the books meant to them.

TheWB forced Joss Whedon to make Cordelia white in BTVS

-One of Joss Whedons former PAs reported a while back some bts gossip that is just now picking up traction and that gossip is: Cordelia was meant to be black.

-According to the former PA, The WB was worried about backlash over having a potential interracial couple on the show when Joss was lying out his vision for the show. Joss chose to pick his battles so ultimately went with what TheWB was comfortable with.

-As most know, Sarah Michelle Gellar was originally cast as Cordelia before convincing everyone she'd be a better Buffy so it's likely the characters ethnicity changed after that.

-Bianca Lawson who later went on to play Kendra originally auditioned to play Cordelia but lost out to Charisma Carptener.

Yashar Ali calls out Alison Roman for her "chola" costume, Alison snaps back

Amy Winehouse is currently trending on Twitter so naturally, I had to see what was up. It's all related to this photo of known foodie Karen, Alison Roman dressed up as a "chola" for Halloween 17 years ago.

Alison snapped back at Yashar by stating that:

Others came to her defense stating that it was an Amy Winehouse costume and digging up photos of people from over 12 years ago is ridiculous and weird. Others also pointed out that Yashar's bff Chrissy Teigan dressed up as a Native American on Halloween once as well.

Roses are red, violets are blue, Hanson are white and Zac wants to shoot you

Another day, another group of white celebrities proving they're not shit when it comes to the issue of Black Lives Matter. This time it's the 90's pop trio and no, they're not Mormon, but they sure do like to procreate like them,  Hanson.

-Fans started to become upset because Hanson wasn’t acknowledging the BLM protests and instead posted about the rocket launch, as well as posts talking about their expensive stupid fan event in Jamaica next year so they started getting flooded with comments on their instagrams.

-All three eventually made generic posts, but Zac took it a step further  He responded to a black fan telling him she was hurt by him not saying 'Black Lives Matter' and he gave a pretty condescending response. After further backlash, he disabled comments on his instagram.

-A fan then released screen caps of a private message she had with Zac on their website where he whined that people were being judgemental and wanting them to conform to their way of thinking and he would never just stand there and film someone being killed (presumably a comment talking shit about the helpless 17-year-old girl who witnessed George Floyd's murder).

-Furthermore, fans discovered a pinterest profile which seemed to belong to Zac. He is a self-proclaimed gun enthusiast (he follows TONS of gun accounts on his ig and has been pictured holding assault rifles numerous times)
A lot of the things he pinned were pro-gun, pro-stand your ground laws, and racist as fuck. Since this was brought to fans attention, the profile on pinterest was deleted. And Zac has ADMITTED the account was his.

-Also someone dug up a clip from one of their dvd's of Zac stupidly comparing unused songs to refugees.
