Twitter wants you to please watch your "harmful" language

- This is not an edit button. It's more like a self-edit warning feature option prompt thing.

- Apparently you can still tweet your reply without actually changing the "harmful" language.

- Twitter's own hateful conduct policy already claims to "prohibit targeting individuals with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanize, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category" including "targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals" as well as "dehumanization of a group of people based on their religion, age, disability, or serious disease."

Adele's personal trainer breaks silence over her weight loss

Pete Geracimo, Adele's PT, addressed Adele worrying remarkable transformation via Instagram. He said:

- it’s disheartening to read negative commentary and fat-phobic accusations questioning the genuineness of her amazing weight loss.
- It was never about getting super skinny. It was about getting her healthy.
- It’s only natural that with change comes a new sense of self and wanting to be your best possible version.
- This metamorphosis is not for album sales, publicity or to be a role model. She is doing it for herself and for Angelo.

Plague yokai becomes popular to ward off corona virus

Amabie, a humanoid fish yokai (demon or spirit from Japanese folklore), has become the recipient of a recent merchandise boom and popularity due to the pandemic. Amabie is said to have appeared off the coast of Kumamoto during the Edo period, telling those that witnessed it “If an epidemic ever spreads, draw a picture of me and show it to everyone.” In hopes of battling the corona virus, artists have been drawing illustrations of Amabie, and the anti-plague creature now has various goods featuring its likeness in different items such as beers and masks.

Now a rich and “healthy” pudding to the list of Amabie treats has appeared; the two-layer pudding contains yuzu jelly and is packed with Vitamin C (tapping into the idea of boosting your immune system). Amabie’s true powers remain to be seen, but at least people are enjoying its ghoulish presence during these times.

Would you believe in the power of Amabie?

Chrissy Teigen makes her Twitter account private after Internet backlash

Chrissy Teigen recently made her Twitter account with 12.8 million followers private following a situation with home cook Alison Roman.

Some back story: Alison Roman said Chrissy Teigen (and Marie Kondo) were sell-outs and made some racist remarks. Chrissy said her feelings were hurt, saying she's been a fan of Alison and was supposed to be an executive producer on Alison's new cooking show. Alison attempted to apologise, but another incident of Alison saying she doesn't like Chrissy then surfaced.

Everyone seemed to be on Chrissy's side until Twitter people started bringing up Chrissy's history of online bullying and her racist and misogynistic remarks. Among others, her obsession with Courtney Stodden and her tweets about Quvenzhané Wallis. The tides swiftly turned against her which is when she went private.

Chrissy is still being active and posting unrelated stuff on her (public) Instagram

Why Maitreyi Ramakrishnan Would Say No to Playing Marvel's Kamala Khan

"I've seen a couple posts about that, but honestly, no," she tells ET's Melicia Johnson."Kamala Khan is Pakistani and I'm Tamil. If there was a Tamil superhero, I wouldn't want to see a Pakistani girl playing [her]. I would say, 'Really? You couldn't find anybody who was Tamil?' So why would I want to do that to the Pakistani community? That wouldn't be fair."

Alison Roman Issues Formal Apology to Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo for Her “Tone Deaf Remarks”

Cookbook author Alison Roman is formally apologizing to Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo for her recent “tone deaf remarks” about their respective businesses. Roman, 34, issued a lengthy apology on Twitter to the two women on Monday, writing: “I need to formally apologize to Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. I used their names disparagingly to try to distinguish myself, which I absolutely do not have an excuse for. It was stupid, careless and insensitive. I need to learn, and respect, the difference between being unfiltered and honest vs. being uneducated and flippant.”

She added, “The burden is not on them (or anyone else) to teach me, and I’m deeply sorry that my learning came at Chrissy and Marie’s expense. They’ve worked extremely hard to get to where they are and both deserve better than my tone deaf remarks.”

Billions is Back! Season 5 Premiere Recap

My darlingssS, this highly problematic show, filled with mysoginy, unnecessary testosterone amounts, and rather pretty photography and scenery is back for its fifth season.

[Season Premiere, what happened?]

Actual long recap:

Bobby Axelrod is still looking fine and everything is as crazy as it was in the previous seasons. While the quality might have gone slightly downhill, the crazyness is still peak high.

The three way scheme that was teased and started last season didn't live in secret for long, Bobby, Chuck, and Taylor all know what is going on and they are all scheming (because that's pretty much the plot of the show).

So what is going on between the main characters?

  • Chuck and Wendy

It's war. The divorce is happening (no news on Wendy/Axe romance just yet) and they are both out for blood. Wendy released a public statement on their separation and Chuck froze her assets. Wendy tells Axe she'll gut him.

  • Chuch and Axe

The supposedly three way scheming operation didn't work, so as a token of "peace" Axe returns Chuck's precious books.  Loads of white man pain, internal dick measuring contest goes on.

  • Axelrod

Really sexist remarks on models aside, the man decides to become a bank. I guess this will be his path for this season and I'm here for it.

  • Taylor

Now, think of this show whatever you want but it gave us Taylor Mase -an actual brilliant non binary character on tv. And they are not just there to die in two episodes.Taylor is scheming, of course, had a quick meeting with their ex and will have to unleash their inner monster to survive among those men. Again, I'm so here for their character.

  • Wags

He failed the Chris Rock test and is just the supportive best friend tv suggests we all want. Whatever he does, I'm also here for it.

Highlight of the two episodes:

  • Becky Lynch kicking ass

  • Wags being Wags.

ONTD, are you watching this show? Yes, I am aware that it is problematic but man if it is entertaining! And it def gets bonus points for a non binary character as an actual main character! What did you watch this weekend?
