Mike Pence Caught on Hot Mic Delivering Empty PPE Boxes



Last night, Jimmy Kimmel exposed Mike Pence delivering boxes of PPE to a VA hospital/nursing home wearing no mask (because why not?!) and managed to catch the MotherBoy icon on a hot mic boasting about how hilarious that the boxes he delivered for the photo op were empty. Pence even pretended to act as if the first empty box was so heavy he had to use his brute strength to lift it. The second empty box he basically through on top of the first. Oh, did I mention they fucking wheeled them to the front door on a cart?!

Taylor Swift announced that she will be releasing a TV special, ‘City of Lover Concert’ on ABC.

The special will show footage from Taylor’s September 2019 Paris concert. There will also behind the scenes footage.

The show airs on May 17 at 10p ET on ABC. It will be available on Hulu and Disney+ the next day.

Singapore starts using black mirror-like robot patrol dog



Spot, a four-legged robot is reminding park visitors to keep a safe distance from one another in Singapore. Starting today, it will patrol the city’s Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, broadcasting prerecorded messages “to remind park visitors to observe safe distancing measures.”

The robot is fitted with cameras that will be used to estimate the number of visitors, but Singapore’s National Parks Board says it won’t collect personal data or use the video to identify individuals. Spot has built-in sensors to stop collisions.

Despite what the board assures, the robot has since gone viral, by drawing comparisons to Netflix’s series “black mirror”, specifically to the episode called “metal head”, in said episode the protagonist is seen running away from similar robotic dogs after the collapse of human society; the robot is also raising criticisms on the use of innovation for civil surveillance.

CBS orders three new shows to series



Queen Latifah stars in the Equalizer, as a mysterious woman who uses her skills to help those who have nowhere else to return. Chris Noth, Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Liza Lapira and Laya DeLeon Hayes also star.

Rebecca Breeds stars as Clarice. The show picks up six months after the events of Silence of the Lambs. Kal Pen and Michael Cudlitz are among those who have been added to the cast.

B Positive - a comedy and the only pilot that managed to complete filming - follows a newly divorced dad (played by Thomas Middleditch) who needs a kidney donor and runs into a woman from the past (Annaleigh Ashford) who volunteers hers. Kether Donahue, Sara Rue, and Kamryn Kunody also appear.

Glory by Britney Spears has a new updated album cover now




The Glory album cover has been updated to what some are saying was the “original” album cover. In it, Spears is laying down in the middle of a desert on top of chains. The cover shares a similar resemblance to her single cover for “Make Me... (Chart)”

Last week, Glory managed to climb its way back to the top of the iTunes Chart at FULL price thanks to a social media campaign by fans.

So far the change has only been made to the standard edition of the album on iTunes and streaming platforms.

M. Night Shyamalan sets cast for next movie (EXCLUSIVE)



Variety reports that M. Night Shyamalan has selected the cast for his next movie.

Eliza Scanlen (Little Women), Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit), Aaron Pierre (Krypton), Alex Wolff (Hereditary), and Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread) are in negotiations to star in his next project.

Shyamalan will write, produce and direct the untitled film, which will be released by Universal.

As with most of his films, the plot is being kept under wraps and the movie maybe connected to his other films.

There is no release date, Universal trying to figure out their calendar with the ongoing pandemic and theater closures. Variety also states there is no start date to begin production.

-Jimmy Kimmel apologized on Friday for a joke he made about Vice President Mike Pence after it was proven to be inaccurate.
-The joke was that Pence was carrying empty boxes of PPE.
-A Buzzfeed News reporter pointed out that the actual clip extended beyond the show's edit, and showed Pence closing the truck doors and leaving the empty boxes behind.

Baby X Æ A-12's Name Probably Not Legal in Birth State



Elon Musk and Grimes inflicted the "name" X Æ A-12 on their newborn, but it turns out some of the characters in his "name" aren't legally allowed on a California birth certificate.

According to the California Department of Public Health Vital Records Handbook, when completing a birth certificate: "The form is to be completed using the 26 alphabetical characters of the English language."

Punctuation symbols are allowed when necessary, like a hyphen or apostrophe. And in 2017, so are accents, tildes, graves, umlauts, and cedillas after many complaints about incorrect recording due to the lack of those marks on their birth certificate.

Numbers aren't allowed and using pictures, like an emoji or ideogram, is forbidden. Since the Æ isn't a standard character in the English alphabet, the only parts of the baby's name that are allowed under California law are the "X" and "A" since even the hyphen isn't necessary what with the numbers not being allowed.

Dog and her udon cup bed become viral



Yuki Chan is a famous Shiba Inu that has recently gone viral thanks to her owner uploading a series of pictures of her sleeping inside an instant kitsune udon (fried tofu and noodles) cup shaped bed.

The tweet has since gone viral with more than half a million interactions, and prompting the bed (which cats can sleep in too) to shoot up in the popularity rankings of Amazon Japan. There is also a soba version of the bed. And you can buy it for ¥4700 (around $44.21).

The title of the new series has been revealed as 'Hanyo no Yashahime'. Whether the new sequel series will be a manga, anime or film is still unconfirmed.

Google and Facebook extend telework until 2021



The two tech giants have announced plans to extend their work from home measures until next year, have told most employees to keep working from home for the rest of the year as part of a response to the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

Google employees who need to return to offices will be able to do that in June or July, with added safety measures, but most staff will continue working from home.

Facebook's plan is to re-open offices in early July, but let people work from home if they prefer until 2021.

If you missed it, internet cooking phenom Alison Roman is receiving backlash after criticizing Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo for doing Capitalism™ or something.

Alison Roman attempted to apologize after Chrissy said her feelings were hurt and that she was going to be an executive producer on Alison's new show (lmao). Alison said she was being flippant and careless.



However, a Twitter user alerted Chrissy by saying that Alison was calling her "so annoying" on a broadcast a few weeks ago, and that spent time elaborating on how much she didn't like her. We know Chrissy saw it because she replied, "good to know."

GQ writer Mari Uyehara said Alison has long had the reputation of being "the most toxic person in food media" and acted weirdly toward Asian women.
