SVU Promo for 21x19: Eddie Kaye Thomas Guest Stars!

In the next SVU episode, airing on April 16th(!), Eddie Kaye Thomas guest stars as a potential perp who drugs his vict... oh who cares, let's all just talk about Stabler returning to the fold! Apparently it wasn't an April Fool's joke, so saddle up for Grandpa Elliot (you know Maureen and/or Kathleen have had a bunch of kids by now), for Single Elliot (or is he still with Kathy?), for Tortured Father Elliot (Darque!Noah! who? Dickie Stabler did it first!), for a SORAS-ed and sexy Ellior Jr. (you know they'll get some hottie from the CW to play the baby Benson delivered!) and, most importantly, for the inevitable Benson/Stabler reunion that all your aunts on Facebook have been craving for the past 10 years!

ONTD, even when I work from home, I still somehow can't find the time to reply to your comments, lol :/ Except now it's not because I'm busy, it's because of all this existential dread I'm experiencing! Anyway, last night's episode was good, for once, so I'm glad I randomly watched it. I love Garland, and Aunjanue Ellis was fabulous, and the case was decent. Huh. Anyway. STABLER! Whodda thunk it? Not me (I genuinely thought it was a prank). So, ONTD, what other L&O-universe characters would you like to see working Organized Crime with Stabler? For me, it's Chester Lake or bust! But seriously though, imagine Stabler and Amaro together! So much toxic masculinity, so little time. Speaking of, ONTD, do you think Stabler has changed? Will Stabler 2.0 have adapted to the times, or will they try to pull the "old school violent cop" angle, to target a different audience? Much to think about. I hope y'all and your loved ones are safe and healthy!

Diane Kruger Goes on a quick paparazzi stroll with her daughter

Diane Kruger is the latest celebrity to pull the paparazzi stroll during the pandemic, taking her daughter on a walk around the car. Although she surely has a big yard in the new castle-like mansion she just purchased with beau Norman Reedus, she took baby Reedus out to the sidewalk, made sure paparazzi got their shots of motherly love and joy before setting off.

Kruger enjoyed the stroll so much, she even shared a photo of it!

Ontd Original: The Pixar Playoffs (Nominations Until 4/7)

Hi there, folks. How have you been?

Time for another round-robin competition in the Pandemic Playoffs Series, that will last, frankly, a lot less than Battle of the Brits. There was a winner announced, so check it out if you haven't!

I wanted to do "Best Animated Features of the Decade" playoffs, but lbr, either "Spider-verse" would have rightfully won, or the winner would be second...to "Spider-verse". Because it's my post and I say SDV wins.

This one is about Pixar movies, as you probably have Disney+, watching these endlessly in the long days of and there are a few new rules.

  1. These brackets only start at 8 contenders, as there are far fewer Pixar movies than there are British people (to my knowledge).

  2. Full lenth features only. You also can't nominate Soul, as it isn't out yet. Not sure what counts? Check here.

  3. Also only like me and 1 other person on planet Earth like Monsters University.

  4. Parent comment nominates, other people support - Use the reactions! I don't mind comments of support, but please use the reactions to make it easier for me to count.

  5. Do not nominate Cars 2.

  6. I'm serious, don't do it.

This shouldn't take too long, so, depending on when this is posted, nominations end Tuesday, April 7th, at 1 PM CST. That's an hour after Roundup is posted.

Larry David loved Woody Allen's new memoir - and thinks it's hard to think he did "anything wrong"

- NYT interviewed Larry David about his life in quarantine for some reason

- David mentions watching Ozark and Unorthodox, and goes on to say that he is reading Woody Allen's new memoir:

- “Yeah, it’s pretty great, it’s a fantastic book, so funny,” Mr. David said. “You feel like you’re in the room with him and yeah, it’s just a great book and it’s hard to walk away after reading that book thinking that this guy did anything wrong.”

- Allen's book was previously dropped by Hachette after protests and was later published by Arcade

More animals start exploring cities during lockdown

Continuing from the last post , more animals have started to appear around cities. The latest example of this is a Jaguar that is seen roaming the parking lot of a hotel in Tulum, a hotspot in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.

While in Wales, a tribe of Great Orme Kashmiri goats has overrun a quarantined town. The goats live in Great Orme Country Park, in Conwy, Wales. They were a gift from Queen Victoria, from the royal herd, but their descendants are wild animals that roam and forage in the large park.

While in Boulder, Colorado, residents have a new urban animal in town, mountain lions roaming around. There has also been leopards and deers sightings in India. And in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, a coyote taking a rest has been spotted.

"Tiger King" directors answer burning questions about the show

- Rebecca Chaiklin and Eric Goode are co-directors of the show. Goode was previously involved in the exotic animals world, mainly in the realm of reptile dealers and smugglers. Together, they decided to focus filming in the US.
- "Joe and Carole were easy access. Joe wanted any attention, all attention. He was an open book, and Carole obviously wanted to get her message out. But people like Doc Antle and Mario Tabraue and Jeff Lowe and Tim Stark and others were very guarded."
- Neither expected all the crazy twists of the story. They didn't want the docuseries to be depressing and wanted to look at the psychology of the people involved with big cats.
- Goode makes the difference between animal welfare, animal conservation, and animal rights activists: "Carole is very clearly an animal rights and animal welfare activist. She does very little in the way of conservation (...) And I’ve always posed one question to Carole, a controversial question, which is, if you really want to stop the ownership of big cats in America, why don’t you do what the humane society does? Why don’t you mainly euthanize these animals? Or I should say this: Is it better to keep a tiger in captivity for 20 years pacing and suffering in a cage when you know that a tiger needs hundreds of miles of habitat to roam, or is it more humane to put that animal out of its misery?"
- In 2017, they bought Joe's life rights for the documentary.
- Joe wants Brad Pitt or David Spade to play him in a scripted TV show. He also refers to David Spade as "Joe Dirt"
- Chaiklin denies giving Carole the villain edit: "I’m a feminist. I would never do that to a woman. I think what we did was we allowed people to speak for themselves and unfortunately the court of public opinion is not always kind."
- On Joe and the N-word: "Joe is a racist, I would say categorically. He said things when we were filming that were very unsettling."
