Justice League Dark: Apokolips War - Trailer

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War features the largest Super Hero cast in the history of DC Universe Movies with dozens of actors/characters spotlighted in a grand ensemble of talent reprising their roles from this six-year story continuum. Matt Ryan (Legends of Tomorrow, Constantine), Jerry O'Connell (Carter, Bravo's Play by Play, Stand by Me) and Taissa Farmiga (The Nun, The Mule, American Horror Story) anchor the cast as Constantine, Superman and Raven, respectively - the triumvirate determined to assemble the forces necessary to lead humanity's final attack.

Alongside that trio are the long-running core of Justice League voices -- Jason O'Mara (The Man in the High Castle, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as Batman, Rosario Dawson (Briar Patch, Daredevil, Sin City) as Wonder Woman, Shemar Moore (S.W.A.T., Criminal Minds) as Cyborg and Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs, Insatiable, Ugly Betty) as The Flash - as well as JL-adjacents Rebecca Romijn (X-Men, The Librarians) and Rainn Wilson (The Office, The Meg) as the voices of Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, respectively.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will distribute the film on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital in Spring 2020.

Fader wonders if Lady Gaga can achieve chart success again

Fader Magazine is posing the question, "Can 'Stupid Love' reverse Lady Gaga’s fortunes?"

The music publication has closely followed Gaga's transition "from humble beginnings to glitzy, brightly-coloured stardom and back to rootsy authenticity", with 'A Star Is Born' putting the final nail in the coffin of Lady Gaga of the past - who made a name for herself as a gonzo trailblazer.

Now, with the release of “Stupid Love,” Gaga attempts to return to the commercial heights of her first 2 albums, treading back into the world of EDM pop. "By the sounds of it, she’s committing fully to this return to her early-2010s sound. Will everyone else?"

The magazine argues that the "age of the Gaga-style pop star is well and truly over." Rappers now run the charts, and only the pop stars matching the aesthetics of rap music dominate the charts, making pop more interesting and variegated.

The trailblazers of the past, like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, now find difficulty replicating their runs at #1. And though these stars possibly don't want to regain chart supremacy, "in the world of mainstream pop, saturation equals victory, and, despite still making headlines, Gaga doesn’t control the conversation in the way she once did."

Woody Allen To Release His Memoir

In "men we wish would just quit" news, Woody Allen is set to release his long-rumor-ed memoir “Apropos of Nothing" on April 7, 2020. The writer-director's recounts of his work and personal life was acquired by the Grand Central Publishing group after other publishing houses rejected it after Dylan Farrow confirmed Woody sexually abusing her as a child in 2014. Farrow's fantasy novel "Hush" will be published in the fall, so go buy that instead.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo is out now on PSN

Last night at midnight, Square Enix finally dropped the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo for the PlayStation 4 on PSN. As some may remember, the demo was leaked early by hackers who managed to extract it from the
PSN Store servers. Footage and game details from the demo were leaked online in January. But now if you’ve waited patiently, you can experience the demo and play it for yourself.

What are your first impressions?

The first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake drops April 10th 2020. Allegedly.

Halp! OP needs a phoenix down tbh.

Joy is out, Ana is here

No guests today, only Hot Topics

Joementum. SC Primary recap. Plays clip. panel discusses impact of Biden winning by a large margin. Black voter impact, Clyburn endorsement, re-tooling campaign based on feedback. Ana thinks it changes the narrative. Raised a lot of money since SC. Clyburn is someone who carries a lot of weight. The AA vote showed up for him because she says he’s been there for them. You can’t show up the Sunday before an election and expect votes. Bernie received only 15% of black vote, online improving 1% from 2016 when he got 14%. Meghan thinks it’s between Biden and Sanders. Feels Sanders will suffer from Castro comments. Does a deep dive of Biden campaign, why the media seemed to write him off, when enthusiasm was there for SC voters. Whoopi tells story, explains her position. So much has been removed, deteriorated, basic infrastructure. Diplomats, housing, education, health and human services. Wants someone to fix and re-tool. If you come in with brand new stuff on top of restoring normalcy, that’s a lofty goal.

Meghan thinks Super Tuesday will be the Alamo, cage match. More discussion about Latino voters in FL versus Hispanic voters in TX. Ana thinks Biden being in front and center the last few weeks served him well. Whoopi goes back to diplomats and that whole analogy.

The Bachelor: Women Tell All & Does Madison come back?

OP would like to congratulate Clare on becoming our next Bachelorette, we stan a 38 year old queen.

harry styles talks being robbed, doing drugs, and taylor swift on the stern show

- he was robbed at knifepoint in london on valentine's day (jokes that that's what he gets for being single and having no plans). he was walking home from a friend's house at night when 7-8 guys followed him, he gave them money then one showed a knife and said they wanted his phone. they told him he had to unlock it for them and he refused, eventually ran into the road and tried to stop two cars which would not stop and then he sprinted away
- was high on mushrooms while recording his album, jumped out of a window and hit his chin on his knee and bit part of his tongue off. he was bleeding everywhere but continued recording anyway
- was asked if he doesn't like it when people write songs about him. his response: "i think it’s flattering, even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using taylor [swift] as an example, she’s a great songwriter. so they’re good songs.”
- says he loves love and wants to get married one day. talked about his relationships failing, says he's the common denominator so it must be him, not them
- doesn't condemn zayn for leaving 1d and doesn't think it's something he shouldn't have done, especially now looking back
- talks about going to therapy and says his therapist is female, howard is his usual gross self and says harry needs a male therapist because he needs a male figure in his life and might hook up with the female one

NBC's Chris Matthews announces "retirement"

Chris Matthews opened his MSNBC show Hardball tonight announcing that he was "retiring," effective immediately. He stated he and the network agreed to part ways (aka he got fired).

The past week has not been kind to Matthews:
- Journalist Laura Bassett recently exposed him for being a sexist prick in GQ.
- He was taken off South Carolina primary coverage after comparing Bernie Sanders' Nevada caucus win to Nazi Germany taking over France.
- He went at it with Elizabeth Warren over claims that Mike Bloomberg told a female employee of his to terminate her pregnancy.

Staff was told about an hour ahead of time that Matthews was done. He did not return to the broadcast after his opening statement and left it to a shocked Steve Kornacki to take over.

MSNBC will rotate hosts in his place until a permanent replacement is found.

Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against her label, will release new music on Friday

Follow up to this post.

Megan Thee Stallion is suing her label, 1501 Entertainment, over the release of her upcoming album Suga. Last night on her Instagram Live, Megan said that 1501 was preventing her from releasing new music due to her requests to renegotiate her contract.

Per TMZ, Megan filed a lawsuit in Texas against 1501 Certified Entertainment and its CEO, Carl Crawford, over the contract she signed when she was 20.

In her suit, she claims her contract gives 1501 Certified 60% of her recording income. The remaining 40% goes to her, but Megan states that she has to use that money to pay engineers, mixers, and other artists who work on the songs. Megan then ends up with what's left.

All money from Megan’s touring and live performances also goes directly to 1501.

Megan says the label has provided incomplete and “purposefully and deceptively vague” reports of what she’s owed. Megan initially received a $10,000 advance in exchange for signing the contract and she now wants to renegotiate.

A district judge in Harris County Texas granted her a temporary restraining order against 1501 and Megan can release her new music. Megan posted on Twitter that she will drop new music on Friday.
