Francesca Scorsese showed on instagram that she is giving her father Martin Scorsese Christmas presents with Marvel characters on the wrapping paper. Scorsese made controversial statements this past year on whether or not superhero films were cinema.

Oscar Isaac Blames Disney Overlords For No Finn-Poe Romance




• Oscar Isaac says he wanted to see a romance between the characters and he blames the "Disney overlords" for not allowing it;

• He encouraged and played into the idea at conventions, in interviews and on social media;

• Says he actually worked to make it happen but was met with resistance: "I think there could’ve been a very interesting, forward-thinking - not even forward-thinking, just, like, current-thinking - love story there, something that hadn’t quite been explored yet; particularly the dynamic between these two men in war that could’ve fallen in love with each other. I would try to push it a bit in that direction, but the Disney overlords were not ready to do that."

Wendy from Red Velvet gets seriously injured at the SBS Song Festival after falling off stage



An SM Entertainment representative released a statement saying Wendy from Red Velvet was injured during rehearsals for the SBS Song Festival, which is a kind of an end of the year round-up show where idols and artists perform the songs released this year and participate in special and collab stages. SM stated: "During rehearsals for her individual performance for 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon, Wendy fell from the stage and sustained injuries.”

They continued to explain, “Wendy was immediately taken to the hospital for a thorough examination, and she sustained injuries to her face and fractures in her pelvis and wrist on the right side of her body. She has undergone emergency treatment and is currently awaiting additional examinations.” They concluded by stating, “As her health comes first, we will focus on her treatment.”

'Cats’ Has Been Removed from Universal’s FYC Campaign Page



Universal Pictures had previously featured Cats on its For Your Consideration campaign website.
It listed screening dates for eligible awards voters.
Now, the movie has been removed from the page, just a few days after its release into theaters.

The Universal For Your Consideration site now only features listings for Us, 1917, Queen & Slim, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Abominable and The Secret Life of Pets 2.
