I've spoken to multiple sources who tell me why Dan Spilo was removed from #Survivor. Here's more detail than you saw on the show.https://t.co/c7SsmG0jsZ
- Earlier in the current season of "Survivor: Island of The Idols" contestant Dan Spilo was accused of unwanted touching by contestant Kellee Kim (which was supported by other female cast members) - Dan was warned not to touch anyone again - Kellee was voted out and Dan remained, even after these accusations were addressed by production - At the end of last night's episode contestants were informed that Dan was removed from the game (the first ever forced removal of a contestant) - According to People the incident that got him removed involved him touching the leg of a member of production, which was not mentioned / shown on the show - Kellee put out a statement on twitter after last night's episode:

Three new major studio contenders enter the ring this weekend: Jumanji: The Next Level, Black Christmas, and Richard Jewell. These films represent the first serious challenge to Frozen 2’s three-week reign of box office dominance, and perhaps one of them will be able to topple Disney from the top spot for a week until Star Wars reclaims it. However, it’s not all multi-million dollar films opening this weekend.
The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Six” - Paramount, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Universal, Columbia/Sony and Disney. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have just opened near you: December 6th, November 27th, and November 22nd.

Justin Timberlake: former boy band member, extreme fan of ramen noodles, SNL fave, serial cheater. There's a lot to hate here. But his most egregious crime is still how he did Janet Jackson dirty. It's been 15 years since the Superbowl Half Time show where Timberlake exposed Jackson's breast to television audiences and we may never truly know how much of the stunt was planned ahead of time. But we *can* look at the immediate fallout. Despite allegedly having been in the know of the stunt ahead of time, MTV banned Janet Jackson's music and videos from their network. The Grammy's rescinded Jackson's invitation to the ceremony that year (despite a previously planned tribute she was meant to perform for Luther Vandross). Not only was Timberlake still invited, he performed 3 times and won 2 Grammy's. Justin was allowed screen time to appear apologetic and innocent while Jackson was demonized by the public and banned from radio for four years. Justin's silence made him complicit in this and has him forever branded as awful.
"fun" fact: The difficulty in finding the video clips of Janet Jackson's breast being exposed is what led to the creation of YouTube. ( Collapse )

Certain "fans" (I'm gonna let you all take a wild guess about which side of the fandom they come from) have recently launched onto a quote from one of John Boyega's interviews which they've misinterpreted to explain that he is calling Kelly Marie Tran weak for the way she dealt with the harassment she faced after The Last Jedi. Considering how John was one of the first cast members to defend Kelly, one can only wonder what those "fans" selective memory might be fueled by. John Boyega, who is still on social media despite the harassment he has been facing for years, responded to the most recent bout of attacks to clarify his statement:
In no way was I referring to Kelly when I made my comments although the interviewer mentioned her given the topic. I was really speaking from my own perspective throughout this franchise. Sometimes I’ve felt strong and sometimes I’ve felt weak. Badly worded though. I apologize.
Considering how the most prevalent narrative in recent years has been that the toxic negativity in the Star Wars fandom comes from "angry white dudebros" this event has been a harsh reminder that the performative wokeness of certain sides of the fandom can't quite cover their anti-blackness and racism anymore. Unsurprisingly enough, no one is calling for a big apology to John Boyega for all the racist attacks and harassment he has been facing throughout these years.
EDIT: since the tweet containing a screenshot of the interview was deleted you can read the exact excerpt/watch a video of the interview HERE

Despite being pushed heavily by the industry, it looks like the public isn't interested in Camila Cabello. Her new album Romance is set to debut at #3 with 50k in pure sales, behind The Who and Roddy Ricch, despite being discounted to $5.99. Also, Hits Daily Double posted a not-so-blind item that her arena tour (who thought that was a good idea?) is in "deep trouble". This comes on the heels of it being revealed that she ripped off multiple artists with her new album and merch.

"Geisha girl vibes 💌" | Amanda as seen in her latest Instagram post, shared December 3rd.
Amanda Bynes, 33, has reportedly left the sober living facility where she was living and has ceased to comply with her conservatorship.
Sources claim that when her parents became aware that she had left, they attempted to intervene, but Amanda refused their help. They are reportedly planning to ask the Ventura County Court, which mandated her conservatorship in the first place, to force her back into treatment. The sources allege that her parents are worried that their daughter is "backsliding" into drug use. It is unknown where she is living now.
Bynes graduated from FIDM in July, but it has been reported that she intended to return for further schooling. These plans have since been abandoned.
She completed rehab earlier this year and rejoined Instagram in September.

The proceeds went to Lauper's charity, which aims to end homelessness.

Peter Dinklage says Dany going mad was signposted all along and feels fans were angry because they didnt want it to end...
Peter discussed the negative reaction to the final season and finale with the Newyorker.: "Well, everybody’s always going to have an opinion, and that means an ownership. It’s like breaking up with somebody. They get upset. I can’t speak for everybody, but my feeling is they didn’t want it to end, so a lot of people got angry. I feel like what [the showrunners] Dumb and Dumber did was extraordinary. This happens. Monsters are created. And you don’t see it coming. We vote them into office. You look the other way. So for everybody to get upset because they loved a character so much and they had so much faith in that person—there were signposts all along the way for that character."
Sorry Peter, I do not agree with the signposts being there for Daenerys when your character once threatened to massacre the entire city because your father was a c.nt. Nor do I agree with the signposts of you moaning at Lannister deaths in field of fire when you did the same in Blackwater battle. Yes, she was a victim and yes it was possible that she become a monster, but she has always taken out revenge on those who have hurt her or the weak. Not random women and children. That was making her a monster just for the sake of making her a monster so she can be killed with a "oh so bad" in the next episode.
