JAY-Z Sent $40,000 Rolex Watches as VIP Passes to His Shawn Carter Foundation Gala

JAY-Z, "hip-hop’s first billionaire," spared no expense when it came to inviting VIP guests to his inaugural Shawn Carter Foundation Gala. Instead of standard VIP passes, Jay-Z sent Rolex watches to his special guests.



Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz shared the invites on their Instagram stories. Meek Mill posted: “Hov sent these as VIP passes SMH this rich shit getting out of control.” While Swizz Beats shared a photo of the Rollie alongside a bottle of champagne from Jay’s brand Ace of Spades with the caption: “Hov is on another level with the invite game. It came with a Daytona Rolex and a bottle of Ace.” The Rolex watches are valued at an estimated $40,000.

The gala will take place the weekend of November 15 and 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and "will feature performances and a blackjack tournament with a $100,000 buy-in. All proceeds from the event will go to the Foundation’s scholarship fund, college prep workshops, and study opportunities, as well as community goodwill programs for those in need."

Jeff Goldblum Defends Woody Allen



In a recent interview with i Paper magazine, internet old man fave Jeff Goldblum said he would consider working with noted pedophile Woody Allen after Dylan Farrow went public with his abuse. Goldblum said while he supports the Me Too movement, he said that he believes there is a "presumption of innocence until proven guilt" concerning Allen. Goldblum had a minor role in Allen's 1977 film Annie Hall.

Dex Parios is a sharp-witted military veteran, who struggles to get by and take care of her younger brother, in Portland, Oregon. She also struggles with PTSD from her time as a Marine in Afghanistan, where she worked in military intelligence until she was injured by an explosion which killed her childhood sweetheart and former lover. Burdened by heavy gambling debts and unable to hold down a steady job, she becomes a private investigator to solve problems where the police cannot get involved. Detective Miles Hoffman [Michael Ealy] refers problems to her, and Grey McConnell [Jake Johnson], a bar owner and Dex's closest friend, provides moral support and employs her brother Ansel at his bar.

NBC reimagining Zorro series with a female lead



-The new series is to take place in modern times and " will focus on Z, described as “a female descendant of the warrior bloodline who will go to great lengths to protect the defenseless in her community."
-To be titled simply as Zorro for now.
-Magnum PI and Burn Notice writer Alfredo Barrios Jr is attached.
-CBS Television Studios is partnering with Propagate on this new series in development for NBC.

Messy M-Train was set to release her third album last January. Her album failed to gain any traction that she had to remove pre sale off itunes. Also her album cover got roasted. Then her mentor LA Reid left Epic and her first 3 singles off her album failed to chart. This led Epic to shelf her album.

The Grammy best new artist curse definitely hit M-Train. Her Kohl's easter commercial aesthetic & lame ass music was no longer appealing to her fanbase the Megatrons.

Fast forward to now, M Train re recorded material for her album 'Treat Yourself'. She is going from corny commercial jingle music to corny dated edm pop. Her collaborates included American DJ Kaskade on the song 'With You', she also came out with 'Genetic's and 'Waves'.

Game Freak employees morale on the ground due to leaks and Dex cut



Reportedly, Pokémon developer studio employees, whose latest game Pokémon Sword and Shield is launching next Friday, are having an “all time low”.

Though nothing more was said, this means that employees at the studio are aware of the backlash of cutting about 60% of the Pokémon, not having expected the backlash to happen before the decision was announced in June with the hashtag #BringBackNationalDex being spammed in their corporate social media profiles and even in the employees personal profiles.

Furthermore, during the weekend, the whole Galar Dex was leaked on various sites, forcing the studio to take stricter measures regarding breaking embargo and sale dates.

Apple renews its four launch shows


Apple has officially renewed its four launch shows -- The Morning Show, See, For All Mankind, and Dickinson -- for a second season. That said, The Morning Show was initally given a two-season order and is currently at work on its next season.

No specific details about viewership have been released but sources say Apple is impressed by the volume of activity, and that millions have checked out the new streaming service, thanks in part to a free week trial and being able to watch the first two episodes of each show without having to signup. Sources also say most who watched at least the first episode of these launch shows went on to view another, if not more.

Three kid-centric shows -- Snoopy in Space, Ghostwriter, and Helpsters -- also premiered, but no metrics were given.

The 4th episode of The Morning Show, See, and For All Mankind premiere tomorrow. All ten episodes of Dickinson's first season premiered on launch-day.

ABC orders full seasons of Bless This Mess and American Housewife
