Constance Wu Clarifies Her Twitter Fiasco

Constance Wu has had a fantastic year professionally but her PR has been a mess. From a pooping bunny to being upset and crying over the renewal of her tv show, its been a wild year for the actor.

Constance now wants to clear the air on that Twitter fiasco from back in May that caused many fans to think she was being a diva.

“I am grateful for my entire career,” she said. “But the fact that my career has been historic shouldn’t necessarily be a call [to say to] me, ‘You should be so lucky’ — it should be a call to pay attention to the fact that this kind of thing shouldn’t have been historic. Me getting to play a fully human experience as an Asian-American, that shouldn’t be historic.”

She is looking to change the "system"and get more Asian-American leads on screen.

“There is an expectation of the way that I ought to behave, and not just of perfection but of graciousness,” Wu continued. “And I am grateful. But am I elegant? No.”

The Blast: Natalie Maines' Ex Wants to Get His Hands on Unreleased Dixie Chicks Tracks

- The Blast has obtained more legal documents from the divorce battle between Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines and her estranged husband, actor Adrian Pasdar.

- Pasdar wants copies of yet-to-be-released Dixie Chicks music, because he thinks the lyrics will violate the confidentiality clause in their prenuptial agreement

- Interestingly enough, the entire reason that the divorce is dragging on is because Pasdar claims the prenuptial agreement isn't valid and he should have more money than he is entitled to. Maines and her lawyers seem confused by the new demands, considering they contradict Pasdar's stance on the prenup

- In an earlier ONTD post, OP collected a bunch of clips of the unreleased music, and is now feeling guilty about how the collection / lyric snippets may have inspired Pasdar's lawyers. If you guys are reading this: fuck right off!!

Kellyanne Conway Tried to Defend Trump By Singing Taylor Swift's 'You Need to Calm Down'

You catch the segment (beginning at the 12:10 mark, singing at 13:13) below but be aware you are giving views to Fox News. (You should read the summary instead.)

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway invoked a Taylor Swift song in response to the pop phenom's call for supporters to sign a petition in support of legislation to bar discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and gender identity.

Conway appeared on Fox News on Tuesday and criticized Swift after the singer pushed the petition after winning Video of the Year for her hit "You Need to Calm Down" at Monday's MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.

"I actually like the new Taylor Swift song that is called, 'You Need to Calm Down,'" Conway said before singing a lyric from the song. "I can sing it for you: 'If you say it on the street that's a knockout/If you put it in a tweet, that's a cop-out.' I love that. That basically is Washington in a nutshell."

"I think that when Hollywood and singers all go political, it sounds in the moment like it is very popular," Conway added. "And we have seen so many times where it backfires and it blows up."
When Swift, who became politically engaged during the 2018 elections, took the award stage Monday night, she thanked supporters of the petition, which is featured in the video for the LGBTQ anthem "You Need to Calm Down" and has more than 500,000 signatures as of Wednesday afternoon. Petitions need 100,000 signatures within 30 days to warrant a response from the White House.

“You voting for this video means that you want a world where we are all treated equally under the law regardless of who we love — regardless of how we identify,” Swift said. “At the end of this video, there was a petition, and there still is a petition, for the Equality Act, which basically just says we all deserve equal rights under the law. I want to thank everyone who signed that petition because it now has a half a million signatures, which is five times the amount that it would need to warrant a response from the White House."

The Equality Act, passed mostly along party lines by the Democratic-controlled House in May, would prohibit discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and gender identity in areas such as employment, public accommodations, housing and education. Eight Republicans voted in favor of the bill. The Republican-led Senate has not brought the legislation to the floor for a vote.

Lindsay Lohan's comeback single is called 'Xanax'

Lindsay Lohan's first single since 2008's 'Bossy' is almost here, and new details of the song have been revealed.

The song is called "Xanax", and is about anxiety and pressure. It's tropical house, and was written by Jesse Saint John who penned Lizzo's hit 'Truth Hurts'. The track was based on Lohan's life, alluding to toxic friends and her ex-boyfriend. In it, she compares the ex to anti-anxiety medication.

Virgin Radio played an extended snippet and said it's coming "very, very soon":

Some lyrics:

“I don’t like the parties in LA, I go home. In a bad mood, pass out, wake up alone. Just to do it all over again. Looking for you."

“I try to stay away from you but you get me high. Only person in this town that I like. Guess I can take one more trip for the night, just for the night.”

Man Sues After Legless Juggalo Crashes Into Him With A Golf Cart At Insane Clown Posse Gathering

Adam Batton attended the 20th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos (held July 21-August 3). He claims that, although motorized vehicles were prohibited, he saw plenty of them at the event and then purchased one himself on the first day of the festival. He was riding it in the middle of the night when he was hit by a golf cart with no lights, driven by well known Juggalo Alexander "Less Legs" Perkins.

“Perkins was operating the golf cart peddles with a baseball bat, and after the collision it was apparent he was intoxicated on drugs and/or alcohol,” Batton’s lawsuit states.

Perkins disputes the lawsuit, claiming he had permission to use his cart due to his disability and was sober during the incident. Additionally, Batton allegedly was driving the wrong way down a one-way road.

Fucking driving, how does it work?

Former RPDR judge Lucian Piane arrested at gunpoint for trespassing in LA

- Piane had previously come under fire in 2016 for inflammatory tweets and erratic behavior. This was later explained as marijuana psychosis and sought treatment.
- He has not appeared on the show since S8's singing challenge, which aired in 2016.
- His Twitter and Instagram accounts were suspended earlier this month following calling RuPaul a c---, accusing former collaborators and business partners for stealing money, and attacking family members.
- Immediately before his Twitter was disabled, he had taken to the platform to ask if it was okay to call Beyoncé n-word and defended the comment by claiming 1/32 Black heritage and insulting people responding as "racist f-------"
- He has already been arrested three times this month, for trespassing and vandalism, according to LAPD records.
- This incident was spurred by his refusal to leave a Chase bank, and ended with him yelling about being a known RPDR guest judge as he was lead out in handcuffs.

Hopefully this can lead to him getting help, I doubt that this is just marijuana psychosis tbh
