German tanzmetal legends Rammstein surprised fans yesterday during the concert in Chorzów, Poland by proudly waving rainbow and Polish flags whilst travelling from one stage to another in little inflatable boats.
According to Tomasz Kołodziejczyk, head of the local LGBT foundation "Stowarzyszenie Tęczówka," the band reached out to them prior to the concert and asked to borrow the flags.
This is most definietely the band's response to recent events in Poland where attacks on the LGBT people by extremist far-right nationalists are on the rise:
On July 20 during the first ever Pride event in Biaĺystok, Poland, a group of extremists pelted the march goers with rocks, glass bottles and firecrackers. 25 people have been detained by police.
A few days prior to that event, a right-wing Polish news magazine announced plans to distribute “LGBT-free zone” stickers to readers, comparing gay people to Nazis as it vowed to fight against the “LGBT ideology.”
The ruling Law and Justice party is also dominated by anti-LGBT views, with party leader Jarosław Kaczyński declaring LGBT+ people a “threat” to the country and an “attack on the family and children.”

Big Brother fans have slammed houseguests on the 21st season for racist remarks and behavior. All four houseguests who have been evicted thus far have been people of color.
CBS finally responded and released a joint statement to PEOPLE addressing the backlash.
“BIG BROTHER is a multi-platform reality competition show about a group of people who live in a house for several months with no contact from the outside world. The audience is able to view the show during the multiple weekly broadcasts as well as on the 24/7 live, online stream, which captures unedited content of the contestants unfiltered moments in the House,” they said. “At times, the Houseguests say things that we do not condone. We share some of the viewers’ concerns about inappropriate behavior and offensive comments, and producers have addressed specific incidents with the Houseguests involved. However, there is absolutely no truth that the casting of the show is racially motivated, that the Houseguests’ behavior is predetermined or that the outcome is controlled in any way.”
Fans also criticized CBS for not airing the racism and bullying and giving houseguests good edits.
At the Williamstown Theatre Festival late night cabaret, Amanda Seyfried and Ashley Park, who originated the Broadway role of Gretchen Wieners for the 2018 musical "Mean Girls," covered Taylor Swift's "Mean" and Lily Allen's "Fuck You." The caption on the video reads, "Having both been Plastics, we sang a song to all the Regina Georges out there."
Some bonus clips and features from the upcoming Bluray release of Avengers: Endgame have been showing up over the last few days--lets take a look at a few, shall we?
*In this preview Marvel's casting director Sarah Finn talks about how Captain America was cast: "When we really distilled the core qualities that we wanted out of Captain America, I think there is really a moral fiber to him that really isn’t something you act, that it’s something that you need to possess. Chris Evans was someone who seemed to inhabit all of those qualities the most. So everyone was in love with the idea of Chris — except Chris."
After her contaminated lipstick controversy, Jaclyn Hill made her return to Youtube the other day where she talked more about the issues with her lipsticks, what she's done since then and her plans for the future. She rambles a lot so here's a summary of what she talked about.
- Buzzfeed hosted a live variety show in New York City last night that featured internet celebrities, Broadway stars, the Jersey shore cast, Mayor Bill de Blasio, etc. and was headlined by Lil Nas X. - Organizers and Pete Buttigieg's campaign had agreed on Buttigieg appearing via video reciting the lyrics to "Old Town Road" as part of a new collaboration on the song with Lil Nas X, who has brought increased longevity to his monster hit by releasing collaborations of the song with everyone from Billy Ray Cyrus to Young Thug to BTS's RM. - Lil Nas X, however, was not on board and refused the idea, which led to Buttigieg pulling out of the event all together. - While Lil Nas X had previously ignored Buttigieg tweeting his "welcome" to the LGBTQ community a few weeks ago he apparently does not personally dislike Buttigieg, who has 0% support from black voters, it's rather an issue of being diplomatic and not wanting to be seen as endorsing someone in the Democratic primary.

Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie, 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', kicked off this weekend's box office, making $5.8M from Thursday previews. It's expected to bring in around $30M this weekend (on a $90M budget).
It'll take the number two spot this weekend, behind Disney's unnecessary live action 'The Lion King', which has already made $729 million worldwide, and is expected to bank another $87M at least this weekend.

Johnny Depp is feeding the media another allegation about Amber Heard that he says happened in March 2015.
In his ongoing $50M defamation lawsuit against Heard, Depp now says the actress put a cigarette out on his face the same night she allegedly caused his severed finger injury.
Depp claims "Ms. Heard then put a cigarette out on his right cheek" after throwing bottles at him after he went to the bar to pour himself a vodka. And though he previously claimed Heard lied about him writing obscene messages on a mirror with his own blood after the injury, he now admits that he then "wrote on a mirror and walls in blood and oil paint [but] claims he was in shock at the time".
Heard's lawyer has already denied the allegation, stating Depp is "is desperate to throw out any outlandish allegation to deflect attention from his physical and ongoing psychological abuse of Amber Heard."

Nicki Minaj is tired of hearing criticism about her controversial relationship with registered sex offender and convicted felon Kenneth "Zoo" Petty. The rapper took to her 'Queen Radio' show this afternoon to set the record straight:
"When a person is with a n---a that loved them before they had a dime in their pocket? How do you not understand that? How do you not understand happiness vs clout? How f--king dare you talk about lowering standards." (Minaj previously revealed that she met her beau when she was 15-years-old and before she rose to fame)
She goes on, "Hoes are selling p-ssy to the highest bidder, these b-tches lowering they standards selling p-ssy for a CHECK? You hoe's to wake up. It's the truth, money cannot buy me happiness and good sex."
She wrapped up the rant stating Petty is her "soulmate".
It may be hard to wrap one's head around, but we're already well into the second half of 2019. In the past seven months, we've heard a lot of new music—some good, some bad, some downright puzzling—and there's still plenty more to come. Many of the most talked about new releases end up reviewed by Pitchfork, whose notoriously fickle staff have done much to inform the listening habits of its readers, for better or for worse, since the mid-'90s.
Here, we take a look back at the 10 albums released over the last seven months that have made the best, and worst, impressions on the wielders of the mighty 'fork. Note: this list was determined by ranking studio albums categorized as "Pop/R&B" by Pitchfork. EPs, such as Miley Cyrus' SHE IS COMING, and live albums, such as Beyoncé's Homecoming, were not included.
The show, about people going into parallel dimensions, consluded it's second (and last) season in February.
Apparently the core premium TV audience is female, that's who Starz is trying to focus on, and ladies just DGAF about "Counterpart"..."but it was a very complicated show, a very male show." says COO Jeffrey Hirsch (yikes)
The Emmy-Winning show ("Main Title Design"! Whoop whoop!) has a cult following.
a twitter user with the handle @jenkatwrites found, screen-shotted, and shared a facebook post from what might be the most irrationally pissed off disney-loving mom of all time back from her vacation to disney world in september who goes on a big ol’ ranty rant about how childless adults and their pretzels are ruining disney parks for the children.
read her missive in its entirety below below:
"it pisses me off to no end!!!!! when i see childless couples without at disney world!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 dw is a family amusement park!!!! yet these immature millenials throwaway their money on useless crap!!!!! they have no idea the joy and happiness it is to mothers who buys their babies treats and toys!!!!they will never experience the exhaustion that it is to chase a 3 year old around and getting stares at assuming im a bad mother!!!! this c**t in some very sl*tty shorts was buying a mickey pretzel and aiden wanted one but the line was very long so i said later and it broke his poor little heart and he cried i wanted to take that pretzel from that fucking tr*mp like thanks bitch you made my son cry!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡 dw is for children!!!!! people without children need to be banned!!!!! mothers with children should be allowed to skip all the line!!!! you have no fucking idea what it's like to have to stand in line for 3 hours with a cranky tired exhausted toddler!!!! and i cant just tell him we cant do something because its his vacation too!!!! i fucking hate childless women with a burning passion!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡"
the unhinged, most likely millenial, mom's post has gone viral.
Whether you are a film buff or not, everyone has heard of the name Quentin Tarantino. His razor-sharp dialogues and graphic violence are some of his major trademarks. But what truly sets him apart from every other filmmaker is how he steals from other movies.
It's been nearly a year since Lana Del Rey revealed the title of her sixth studio album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, and four months since it was supposed to be released. Now, fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief: the Venice Bitch herself says it's dropping in August.
Del Rey made the announcement during a performance at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim in Spain earlier this month, echoing a promise made at a June concert that the album's release was two months away. Del Rey has also taken to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes look at a new music video, apparently for a song called "Fuck It, I Love You." In the photos, shared earlier today, she can be seen sporting a red swimsuit alongside bodybuilder Brad Swanwick.
Oliver Stone recently met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and said of Russia’s anti-gay propaganda law, “It seems like maybe that’s a sensible law.”
Oliver Stone: "As you know, I’ve been very rebel all my life. Still am. And I have to tell you, I’m shocked by some of the behaviors and the thinking of the new generation. It takes so much for granted. And so much of the argument, so much of the thinking, so much of the newspaper, television commentaries about gender, people identify themselves, and social media, this and that, I’m male, I’m female, I’m transgender, I’m cisgender. It goes on forever, and there is a big fight about who is who. It seems like we miss the bigger point."
Vladimir Putin: "They live too well. They have nothing to think about."
In a scene from the popular kids' content channel MyPinguTV’s Dina and the Prince Story,
The titular character of Dinah becomes a fictional prince's object of affection. However, Dina is forbidden to speak to him because if she does, she loses her beauty. It appears that she doesn't listen to the warning. Dina encounter the Prince, her appearance has drastically changed. No longer a Caucasian woman, the character is depicted as no longer possessing her beauty and youth when she becomes a woman with Black skin and darker hair.
Users on social media have been quick to call out the racism. It has only recently been removed from the video platform due to the negative response from viewers.
White supremacy is able to teach our children to hate themselves because anti-Blackness is normalized at every level of this racist society. This YouTube cartoon called “Dina and the Prince” depicts a white woman turning into a Black woman after she‘s cursed to be “ugly.” pic.twitter.com/UfyoAHeEtv
Pitt and DiCaprio no longer appear on several ads in Hollywood for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. An artist has swapped their images with those of convicted sex offender Epstein and Polanski. The film’s title now reads: “Once Upon a Time In Pedowood.” Artist Sabo says the faux ads are meant to insult the entertainment industry for embracing sex offenders. One bench ad uses an image of Woody Allen instead of Polanski.
“I felt they should all share a billboard to highlight a decades-old problem that has plagued Hollywood for decades: the abuse of children,”
