"We talk to him for almost every film we make. We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it." Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said.
Reeves reportedly was up for the role of Yon-Rogg in Captain Marvel scheduling conflicts with John Wick 3 caused him to drop out.
A few weeks ago there were rumors of Keanu Reeves' potential casting in The Eternals alongside Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden and Kumail Nanjiani.
He has also expressed interest in being playing the next Wolverine.

West Hollywood officials want to remove President Trump's star on the Walk of Fame, and Mark Hamill says he knows who should get one instead: his late "Star Wars" co-star Carrie Fisher https://t.co/7I8ZeabVXI— CNN (@CNN) June 20, 2019
West Hollywood officials want to remove President Donald Tr*mp's star, and Mark Hamill has a suggestion on who's should replace it: his late "Star Wars" co-star Carrie Fisher.
The star has been vandalized several times since Tr*mp's got into national politics.
Last September, it was covered by wooden bars affixed with industrial, double-sided tape, to resemble a prison. Before that, it was smashed with a sledgehammer.
A resolution to remove the star was unanimously voted on by the West Hollywood City Council last August, but the vote was symbolic, since the city has no legal jurisdiction over the Walk of Fame.

Goes flat at 2:35. This isn't the first time this has happened to her for this very song. She eventually learned to laugh off her efforts on stage, but presently, she doesn't really attempt to hit that note, since it is pretty damaging. At least she tried it though! Imagine knowing there's a chance you'll mess up a note but go for it anyway. That's guts, man.

When Taylor Swift released the lyric video for her predicted #4 single, there was an interesting lyric that was not clear until visualizing it: the lyrics indicate that she is singing "Why be mad, when you can be GLAAD?" She is apparently referring to the organization formerly known as the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
The morning after the single was dropped, GLAAD began giving quotes to press organizations claiming that Swift's lyric change (which... are only clear when reading the lyrics) has led to an "influx in donations" for the non-profit organization. They spoke with multiple media outlets: including TMZ, New York Daily News & Billboard. One of the main talking points was that Swift fans were donating $13 - a nod to Taylor's favorite number, and her inability to donate to anyone without making it about herself. The stories have continued throughout the week, following the release of the LGBT+ centric merch commercial of a music video.
The fact that pullquotes claiming that Ms. Swift had personally cause " donations to soar" started to appear on multiple websites so soon after an overnight song release left me with a lot of questions. How did they indicate that Swift caused the donations to rise? Is $13 more than the average GLAAD donation? What statistics were they able to pull in less than 24-hours that allowed them to confidently make such statements to the media?
So I contacted Anthony Ramos, one of the GLAAD representatives quoted in many of the articles, to ask some follow-up questions. After multiple requests for data I was finally given the following quote, which is pretty much the same thing that everyone else has been publishing without backup data:

In the end, I still didn't get any clear answers. Maybe Swift's subtle lyric change did make a difference, you'll just have to take GLAADs word for it!

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa recently shared the script cover for the season four premiere of the CW series and revealed that the opener (simply titled "In Memoriam") will serve as a tribute to the late Luke Perry who played Fred Andrews (Archie's dad) on the show. The last mention of his character on the show was that he was out of town for a conference of some sort.
The episode is written by creator RAS and directed by Gabriel Correa, who previously directed two episodes of the show as well as served as first assistant director on numerous other episodes.
Filming will begin July 8, and the season premiere will be October 9.

A number of celebrities offered their support to Bella Thorne after Whoopi Goldberg shamed the actress over her nudes being stolen.

After Thorne responded with a tearful response on Instagram, celebrities began showing the former Disney star their support. Thorne shared messages of support she received from 'Shake It Up' co-star Zendaya, Lucy Hale, Madison Beer, Dove Cameron, and Lily-Rose Depp. Even Paris Hilton – who had her own sex tape leaked in 2004 - came out to support the star.
"Slut shaming is one of the biggest topics of this generation but yet we still keep going some how. It’s really really sad. 🚫 the view 🚫.”, Thorne captioned one of her posts.

JoJo Siwa, who reportedly sold 40 million(!) bows last year did an interview with Rolling Stone.
In it they confirm that the insane house that's exclusively decorated with Jojo Siwa merch in all of her videos is the one her family actually lives in.
The only visible non-JoJo Siwa merch in the house is a vinyl of Queen's Greatest Hits.
JoJo loves Freddy Mercury but does not love modern music because she doesn't think it's really music anymore like it was in the eighties, seventies, and nineties.
She plans on making real music in the future and says she literally sleeps with a piano on her bed.
To her credit, in the interview she explains (in a way that was surprisingly believable) why she's never going to get sick of doing what she does for such a young audience and start acting out like other stars.
JoJo says she genuinely loves it.
She also gives an example of how how completely loyal to things she commits herself to by pointing out how committed she's been for years to her ponytail.

20,000 Christians signed an online petition urging the streaming giant Netflix to cancel the "blasphemous" show Good Omens for having God be voiced by a woman, an angel and a demon being friends, the Antichrist being depicted as a normal child, being "another step to make satanism appear normal, light and acceptable”, and other banal reasons.
The problem is that Good Omens streams on Amazon (and will hit the BBC in six months). So in a way they might think they've succeeded if they login to their Netflix account and search for the show. They've probably realized their goof by now though as the url to the original petition no longer works.

Marianne talks about the country’s moral and spiritual awakening, vaccinations, Biden, terrorism, reparations. Semi-summary of her conversation [Spoiler (click to open)]
Thinks the American people are good, but we’ve stopped asking ourselves what goodness means. Talks sale of arms to Saudi Arabia means aerial support to genocide in Yemen as an example that we’ve lost our moral compass. Talks aristocratic situation where money is placed before people, health, planet, etc. Quotes a lot of facts and figures of domino effect and how we should be re-prioritizing efforts to educate children to stop the decline. She doesn’t believe not having political experience negates being able to build relationships with congress. [Bad idea to compare to Tr/mp because he’s an incompetent authoritarian bad businessman and idiot, vs most professionals outside of politics would’ve developed effective leadership skills]. Some of the panel think she sounds like Tr/mp, when she says maybe stop relying on the politicos who got us here, to be the ones to get us to a better place. Meghan calls her out for being anti-vaxx, but she says she’s not anti-vaxx. Marianne goes on to say that blind faith in big pharma is a bad idea [her issue seems more to do with the devil that is big pharma pushing drugs to the people for profit (regardless of reason), vs legit medical treatment]. Heated topic, she believes the science, but feels there should be an independent objective commission to study medical side effects by a panel not paid by big pharma. She supports vaccines, doesn’t say anything about exemptions. Says she was vaccinated as a child but also had the measles. Biden comments are brought up but she side-steps this and says she doesn’t want to comment on other candidates, she wants to talk about her own campaign. Joy brings up Why run for potus, vs she’s written 14 books write another one, she discusses why she’s in it to make a difference, not to up her book sales. Meghan brings up countries with ISIS and Afghan and how that relates to earlier remarks on moral and spiritual awakening. She wants a US Dept of Peace, says she’s not a pacifist but believes what will make us safe is peace-building, which requires expanding oppty for children and women [she says a lot-too much to transcribe]. Sunny brings up reparations, Marianne wants to make America whole and feels you have to clean up the past, taking a fearless moral inventory, brings up atonement being necessary to really move forward, doesn’t discuss actual financial aspects but they were out of time, so this was more philosophical that she believes it should be addressed.
[She identifies as Democrat and her side job as a public speaker is on full display, a lot of ground is covered. She gives Me-again the side eye a couple of times, because Me-again was being too combative while the other panelists were just talking normal. Her positions may be hit or miss with some.]

Well, because…I had closure in the last one. The fact that I’m involved in any capacity is only because of that peculiar aspect of the Star Wars mythology where if you’re a Jedi, you get to come back and make a curtain call as a Force ghost.

In other news, according to the people who track what music is played on the radio, on tv, and in bars and clubs, Rita was officially the fourth most played artist in the UK last year.
Ed Sheeran of course was number one if anyone was curious. The only non-British act to make the top ten list was Pink.
Rita was also the only artist to have two songs in the top list of the most played songs last year.
The #1 most played song in the UK was the Portugal the Man song "Feel it Still".
