Fox New's The Five team up with John Rich on song called "Shut up About Politics"

Song is currently #2 on the iTunes charts, just above all the current new releases from popular female artists such as Cardi B and Katy Perry but below Lil Nas X's Old Town Road.

Features lyrics like:

You punch left, I punch right. We're caught up in the middle of a deep swamp fight

Take a shot of my whiskey from a big red cup

I'm tired of all the fighting and the bitching fits. So shut up about politics

Was co-written by the Five's Greg Gutfeld and features snippets from political "journalist" on the television show The Five. All the proceeds go to Folds of Honor which provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service members.

Do people who want to shut up about politics usually have bad political views?

Chris Hemsworth Talks Shark Attacks and Working with Tessa Thompson on 'Men In Black: International'

On his favorite Avenger: Korg, because he enjoyed working with Taika. "I have such appreciation and love for that guy." Chris said that he enjoys working Mark Ruffalo and gives credit to RDJ for starting it all.

Why MIB?: "I just came off Avengers and I was looking for something that was sci-fi, fantasy like, larger than life. I remember watching the first Men In Black years ago and loving it."

On shark attacks near his home in Australia: Chris said that while shark attacks in his area have been on the rise. It doesn't worry him, he still enjoys surfing. He did add that statistically speaking, you are more likely to die from shaking a vending machine and having it fall on you, than from being killed in a shark attack.

Taylor Swift adds Katy Perry's hot new single "Never Really Over" to her Apple Music Playlist

Taylor Swift appears to be enjoying Katy's newest single by adding the track to her "Playlist by ME!" on Apple Music.

Is it possible they have finally put their feud behind them? Stans also noticed that Katy "liked" Swift's most recent tweet which was a pic of her new cat Benjamin Button.

Katy also seems to be spreading love to all the other female artists releasing new music this week.

We were truly blessed this Friday with music. What are you listening to?

Lil Nas X Takes Kids to the Old Town Road with a performance at a School

  • The lil kids are either shocked or outright screaming when he appears on the stage.

  • Nas skipped Billy Ray's verse and some of the kids were caught off guard as they were singing along lol

  • Several comments at the tweet source are going "The kids aren't on their cellphones" because 30 is the new 67.

  • 8 Weeks later, "Old Town Road" is still #1 on the Billboard charts.

Elton John: 'I am a European – not a stupid, imperialist English idiot'

On Wednesday, during his last ever world tour, Elton John spoke out against Brexit while performing in Verona, saying that he was ashamed of the UK over its voting for and handling of the issue.

He said, "I’m ashamed of my country for what it has done. It’s torn people apart … I am sick to death of politicians, especially British politicians. I am sick to death of Brexit. I am a European. I am not a stupid, colonial, imperialist English idiot."

He also thinks that the British people were not told the whole truth to start with and that the entire Brexit process was confusing, comparing it to “walking through Hampton Court maze blindfolded, being turned around 16 times and trying to find your way out”.

Maluma and the Art of the Summertime Thirst Trap

Just in time for summer, Spotify has teamed up with Colombian megastar Maluma for a 30-second tutorial on how to perfect the art of the thirst trap. It's easy: feel the vibe, feel yourself and click!

Maluma's fourth studio album, 11:11, opens atop the Billboard Top Latin Albums and Latin Rhythm Albums charts this week, having moved 17,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release. This is his third straight #1 on both charts, and the third largest debut for a Latin album in 2019 after Romeo Santos' Utopía (24,000 units) and Luis Fonsi's Vida (22,000).

Simon Cowell says he lost 20 pounds on a vegan diet

Simon Cowell told Extra that he’s lost 20 pounds since switching to a vegan diet.

He went on to say he’s feeling “much better” since the weight loss. However he admits he still craves pizza which has been “really hard” for the “America’s Got Talent” judge.

The change in his diet came after an incident in October 2017 when Cowell fainted while going down the stairs. He would later discover the accident was the result of low blood pressure.

Cowell then began a vegan diet after a friend who is a doctor recommended that he see an expert. He has since cut out meat, dairy, wheat and sugar.

He also cut out melon when he discovered he was actually allergic to the fruit.

“Within 24 hours I changed my diet and I’ve not looked back since,” he said. “You feel better, you look better.”

iTunes Has Died at 18

Apple will be replacing iTunes with standalone Music, TV, and Podcasts apps in the next major version of macOS, expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2019 next week. iTunes was introduced by the late Steve Jobs at Macworld on January 9, 2001.

From Bloomberg:

iTunes has been the way Apple users listen to music, watch movies and TV shows, hear podcasts, and manage their devices for almost two decades. This year, Apple is finally ready to move into a new era. The company is launching a trio of new apps for the Mac – Music, TV, and Podcasts – to replace iTunes. That matches Apple's media app strategy on iPhones and iPads. Without iTunes, customers can manage their Apple gadgets through the Music app.

Apple is also expected to announce iOS 13, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 at its WWDC 2019 opening keynote on Monday at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

Oklahoma! Broadway Roundup: Music Videos, Interviews & More

It's been called Oklaheauxma, Sexy Oklahoma and the Oklahoma that fucks. Yes, Oklahoma!, the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, is currently being revived on Broadway, and it's not your Grandma's Oklahoma!

Now, you might be wondering why someone on ONTD made a whole damn post about an old musical from 1943, based on a play written in 1931. But even if you're not a fan of the original, there's a chance you'll fall for the Daniel Fish directed revival, which has a darker approach to the material and a bluegrass sound, despite using the same book and music as the original. It has everything: theater in the round, excessive house lights, a spartan set, chili at intermission, night vision videos, modern dance interludes and an aesthetically beautiful blood explosion.

The cast recording is set to come out on June 28th, and to get people hyped for that, the show has released a music video. Watch Curly (Damon Daunno) and Laurey (Rebecca Naomi Jones) duet on "People Will Say We're in Love", and click the cut for more videos + interviews.

The show is set to run until January 2020, and it has an online lottery. It's also set to start touring next fall.

Badvertising: The North Face manipulates Wikipedia Pages For Hits; Gets Called Out by Wiki

  • Stooges people are surprised that a company used dishonest tactics to generate hits, clicks, and views.

  • The North Face Brazil hired Leo Burnett Tailor Made to replace various Wikipedia images of outdoor landmarks with images of the same landmarks....but with models wearing their clothes.

  • By using Wikipedia, when people would Google a location, it meant that the images on the popular site would show up first.

Then, they bragged about it, claiming a collaboration with Wikipedia...whose volunteers shut that shit down, because it was a lie.

Wiki took them to task, calling what they did "akin to defacing public property" in violating the trust people have with the site to, y'know, not be advertised to. The North Face apologized.

"Ma" Director Talks about Casting BFF Octavia Spencer & How the Film's Not About Race

-Taylor and Spencer were roommates for seven years, and he claims to know her tastes and that she loves forensic shows

-Thought it was a great opportunity to "get my dear friend her first lead role in something that could really redefine her career [...] It was really out of love and admiration that I wanted her to be Ma...a fucked up teen killer"

-The character of Ma was originally conceived as a middle-aged white woman with no backstory

-Sees Ma more as "a cautionary tale of what happens when we treat people poorly -- from bullying to sexual harassment at the highest levels."

GQ: As a white male director, how did you think about putting yourself into a character like Sue Ann and portraying the elements of race that exist within the film? Because it's embedded in the film.

Tate: How do you think race is embedded in the film? Because I don't see it that way.

GQ: You have these white kids hanging out with a middle-aged black woman, andthat same woman had been bullied by what were predominantly white classmates. So maybe that's not the defining aspect, but it's there.

Tate: Isn't it funny, the way our country is set up, the minute I give a very talented person who's my best friend a part because she wanted to break out, the movie becomes about race. It's crazy. Me and Octavia talked about it. She goes, "Why is everyone saying this is about race?" I said, "Because you're black and I'm white. And I guess friendships and love does not trump that." As far as Octavia goes, casting her in that role, it was a victim of trauma.

The only thing I think I commented on as far as race goes is Ma had a specific amount of torture assocaited with each of the kids, and when she painted Darrell's face white, it's Ma trying to put psychological torture on a black man. She says, "There's only room for one of us," and it's me saying, "Yeah, enough already with the one black character and they're never the lead."

-On his love for female characters: "I love female characters. I love characters with obstacles, and I love characters who are often subpar in society's mind. And unfortunately, women have a great deal more to deal with in the world than men do. They just do. They get out of bed, things are slanted against them. And I think being raised by a single mom and seeing how she nurtured me and took care of me, I've definitely got an affinity for female characters."

Balenciaga creative director exposed by russian celebrity

Xenia Sobchak (ex-candidate for Russian president) published an episode of her youtube-show where she says that her friend, an unnamed designer, asked her to tell Olga Buzova (tv-host, celebrity, entertainer, Xenia's colleague) to stop wearing a leather jacket of the brand where he works, because it ruins their image;

— It turned out that the only leather jacket Olga was wearing and posting it on IG was one by Balenciaga;

— Olga Buzova (15.7 mln followers on IG) revealed that according to her sources the name of the designer is Demna Gvasalia, creative director of Balenciaga. She offered him that she returns them the jacket and sneakers if they give her money back (around $5500);

— One of the topics covered in Xenia's show was that rich people can't rely on luxury brands anymore, because they sample it to "influencers" for free and it's not exclusive anymore;

— Olga bought her Balenciaga leather jacket in Madrid, it was not sampled/sponsored. She really liked that jacket until... you know.

— Xenia now denies it was Demna she blind itemed.

I know it's white people problems, but still... What do you think, ONTDers? Is it okay for the brands to decide who deserves to wear them and who does not? ps: excuse my English ;-)

Phoebe Waller-Bridge for British GQ looking amazing, talking about Fleabag, Solo, Bond+ S2 Discussion

-Phoebe Waller Bridge opens up about working on Solo, Fleabag S2, and hits back at critics who say her show is filthy and sexually exposing as she claims it doesn't contain a single nude scene.

[British GQ Pictures]

[British GQ Interview]
British GQ:

On Solo:
She was amazed at the detail/craftsmanship of what goes into making the film. Everyone from cast and crew were energetic about it.

She said the first time going onto the Millennium Falcon was cool, and said that there were crew who would with a press of a button wobble the ship.

On Growing Up as a child:

Said she was a nightmare and she liked school growing up, just didn't like homework.

Her first memory of making someone laugh was when she was seven and remembers her mom laughing.

On Sandra Oh and her Character Eve:

“With Eve, I felt more connected to that character. There were bits of me. I was writing parts with bits of myself and then being able to let that go, actually, when I first spoke to Sandra [Oh] about Eve [the MI5 detective she plays], she had such an immediate connection to the character. She was like, ‘I know who this is.’ And she would talk about her in ways that I’d just end up writing on the wall, being like, ‘That’s her touchstone, her point.'”

On Jodie Comer’s portrayal of Villanelle in “Killing Eve”:

“Villanelle really grew in my mind watching Jodie, because the more playful she got, the more I was like, ‘We can go anywhere with this actress.’ Then she’d start putting on this swagger. Around episode four or five, Jodie just started doing this swagger. I was just like, ‘Where did that come from?’ And I realized it’s when she goes back to Russia, her home country, that she’s got this other personality there. And that really inspired how we wrote the final few acts.”

[THR/NY Times]
The Hollywood Reporter:

Phoebes abs welcome you in:

-For better or for worse, how do you wish you were more like your character?
“It is both, for better and for worse, because I think Fleabag says what she thinks whether it’s to the camera privately or in real life, she says what she really really thinks in the moment and I think I’m still learning how to do that. Writing for me and writing these characters for me is how I do that so I write women who don’t give a shit. Because I’m teaching myself how to be one.”
