_ Leah Remini was matron of honor along with Burke's sister and "DWTS" castmate Kym Herjovec. Best men were Lawrence brothers Joey and Andy.

_They met in 2006 when Lawrence's brother Joey was a contestant on"DWTS" "There was an instant attraction" ,says Burke"but we were both really young. They dated for a year before parting ways.

_They reunited in 2017."It felt like no time had passed" said Burke. I just felt so comfortable.

_Lawrence proposed with a ring with the exact diamond that Burke's late father gave her mother.

_They are looking forward to starting a family soon.

'Sonic The Hedgehog' Delayed until Feb. 14th, 2020


So many things for us to do, but there's now more time.


After the internet at large said "This ain't it." to Sonic's design in the trailer, and the director swore to revamp the Blue Blur, seems like the titular character's teeth are adding more time to the proceedure.


The new release date is Valentine's Day, 2020. That's one week after Sony's Peter Rabbit 2, Warner Bros. Birds of Prey, the same weekend as a now-untitled Disney live action movie, and a week before Sony's Bloodshot. OP is going to be spending a lot of money that month at the movies.

So you can take the love of your life, be it a human or hedgehog, to the film.

'Aladdin' flies off with $7M from Thursday night box office previews




Disney's latest live-action choice 'Aladdin' (which I can assure you is not as aggressively terrible as 'Beauty and the Beast') started off the long weekend box office in the U.S. with $7M on Thursday night, and is expected to make anywhere between $80M-$100M during the three-day Memorial Day weekend (on a $183 million budget).

In addition to 'Aladdin', this weekend sees the debut of the horror 'BrightBurn', which brought in $950,000 on Thursday and is expected to make around $10M-$12M on the long weekend (on a $7M budget).

The third movie out in kinda of major release is the critically-acclaimed teen comedy 'Booksmart', which is expected to bring in $10M-$16M this long weekend (on a $19M budget).

Stand By Dany: Charity Fundraiser Thanking Emilia Clarke Raises £10,000 In A Day




To show their support for Emilia Clarke after the finale, a Game of Thrones fan from the freefolk reddit started a fundraiser for her charity SameYou. Emilia founded the charity to help provide treatment for people recovering from brain injuries and strokes after she suffered two brain aneurysms while working on the show.

The fundraiser raised £10,000 in a day, and has now raised more than £23,000.

Harvey Weinstein Reaches $44 Million Settlement With Sexual Misconduct Accusers



Harvey Weinstein has reached a $44 million civil agreement with his sexual misconduct accusers, former business partners and other entities.
The settlement would provide approximately $30 million to plaintiffs, which include Weinstein's alleged victims, Weinstein Co. employees and creditors.
The remaining $14 million would cover the legal fees of Weinstein's former business associates.
If finalized, the deal would conclude months of mediation sessions between all parties involved.

The settlement has nothing to do with the criminal case.
Weinstein could serve life in prison if convicted on the other charges. His trial is set for September.

Explicit Scene in Abdellatif Kechiche’s Latest Film Leads to Outcry and Walk-Outs at Cannes



Abdellatif Kechiche is once again under the Cannes microscope for prolonged sexual content in his films. 
“Mektoub, My Love: Intermezzo” inspired largely negative responses from critics, journalists, and audience.
One scene in question involves a lengthy, consensual encounter in a bathroom between Ophélie and a man. 
The scene features what appears to be a 13-minute oral-sex scene
It lasts much longer than the most extensive sex scene in “Blue Is the Warmest Colour.”
Some viewers saying they walked out and one posting a photo of the theatre with plenty of empty seats. 
The leering nature of its camerawork is more pronounced than in “Blue Is the Warmest Colour.”
The male gaze was practically the only lens Kechiche used.

Eurovision 2019 results get re-adjusted



It might be almost a week after the Grand Finale of the 2019 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest but it ain't over with yet.

The Eurovision Broadcasting Union (EBU) said an incorrect calculation was used to create a substitute score after the Belarussian jury was dismissed, resulting in the error. Belarus's jury was removed after its semi-final votes became public, which is against contest rules.

The winner was not affected, but a number of other countries either saw their scores slightly dip or slightly increase. Sweden got bumped to 5th place overtaking Norway, while North Macedonia is now 7th ahead of Azerbaijan's 8th placing. The biggest changes happened in the middle of the scoreboard with Cyprus and Malta moving up two places to 13th and 14th respectively while Slovenia + France both lost two.

UP AND COMING underrated quartet boyband PRETTYMUCH released their second EP Phases after PRETTYMUCH An EP last year. This is much more chill, less dance, more emotional and as cliché as sophomore attempts go - more 'mature' and for some reason "Blind" did not make the cut, WHAT WAS THE REASON?. How does OP feel about each song?

First the lead "Phases"... we love it, keep us nostalgic and "'ti'll fate brings you home, I'll wait through your phases" gets us right in the gut. Different vibe from them too. 10/10




"Gone 2 Long" - classic boyband ballad. 100% more special because PRETTYMUCH (essentially lead member Brandon) wrote and produced 100% of the song - their first one. Good hook, ethereal moods: 10/10

Y2K-Era Girl Group Blaque Announce Release of 16 Year Old Scrapped Album 'Torch'



The short-lived girl group you probably remember from Bring It On and Lisa Lopez protégés Blaque - made up of Shamari Devoe (who btw is now married to a member of New Edition/BBD... themoreyouknow.png), Brandi Williams, and the late Natina Reed - announced that they finally got the masters + executive producer credit to their 2003 cancelled album Torch - featuring the original 'Focus' Honey soundtrack feature "I'm Good". Snippets of the album have been circling the net, and now fans who have been begging for the album for years finally get their wish! The group is now gearing up for a 20th anniversary concert in Atlanta celebrating the history of the group.

Torch will be out next Friday.

Live-action 'Akira' adaptation sets release date


+ Taika Waititi's 'Akira', produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, has been set for a May 21, 2021 release. Production begins this July.
+ Waititi affirms that it will be true to the books with no white-washed casting: “I actually love the books. Love the movie. But I would not do a remake of the movie. I would do an adaptation of the books. Actually Asian teenagers would be the way to do it for me... I mean sort of unfound, untapped talent".
