More YouTube Beauty Drama: Tati feels betrayed because James Charles promoted “rival” vitamins




The latest ¡escándalo! in the YouTube Beauty Community is between two popular beauty gurus and it doesn’t even involve makeup. Tati Westbrook and James Charles have been friends for sometime and have often collaborated on videos. In 2017, Tati even invited James to her wedding and had him do her makeup for some reason.

That all changed earlier this week when James Charles promoted Sleep Vitamins by SugarBear Hair on his Instagram.

Tati Westbrook saw this as a betrayal because she is the founder of her own vitamin scam of a company with Halo Beauty.

That’s right, this drama is all because of vitamin$ or as they often call it, “beauty supplements.”

Tati would go on to upload a series of emotional videos on her Instagram Stories, where she tearfully explained that she felt “really used.” You can read some of her words [here]”I feel really lost and in my community especially I feel really lonely. Through this whole YouTube journey I feel like I’m someone who has been super supportive to their friends and it’s been really crap to feel like - not that you should do things to get support - but friends should support one another, that’s how it should be. I’m just having one of those days where it’s smacked in my face what’s what and having to take a look at things and realize what they are, and not wanting to realize what they are.”

James has publicly apologized to Tati on Instagram claiming he was not paid to make the post and only made it because “the brand helped me with security when the crowd around me at Coachella became unsafe.”

Tati has yet to respond to his apology.

After finally being released to all major streaming platforms, Lemonade is on track to return to the Billboard 200, landing at #9 three years after its initial release.

Homecoming also jumps up from #7 to #4 in its first full week.

Chris Brown responds to CHVRCHES callout of Marshmello for working with him and Tyga


Chris Brown really didn't appreciate CHVRCHES calling out Mashmello for working with abusers and, like Tyga, commented on the Instagram post. He seemed displeased, called them peasants, and expressed his wish for them to get hit by a bus.

Mario Kart is coming to your smartphone, and Android users will be able to try it first




Mario Kart fans will soon be able to play the game on their mobile smartphones with Mario Kart Tour. Nintendo is letting Android users sign up for a closed beta test that will run from May 22 to June 4 in the US and Japan. However, not everyone that applies will be invited and people will be selected at random.

There aren’t much details on the game and no official confirmation for iOS yet. But it’s highly likely it’ll come to iOS as all of Nintendo’s previous mobile games have been released on the iPhone as well (see “Super Mario Run“ and “Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp”).

Mario Kart Tour is expected to hit mobile devices later this Summer.

BTS record best worldwide sales week since Adele and perform 'Dionysus' in Korea



BTS's Map of The Soul: Persona has recorded the best worldwide sales week since Adele's 25 in 2015. The album topped the US (with 230k first week sales), UK, Australian, Canadian charts and others, while breaking the Korean album record in Japan. In Korea, this EP will be around 3m~ and will be competing to become the best-selling Korean album ever.

More importantly, BTS has been performing their song 'Dionysus' in Korea. People always ask what sets BTS apart from other groups, and I think this is a nice example. On the surface it is just a mindless party song, but it's actually a meditation on the thrill, obsession and pressure of creating art on their own terms. They also touch on their legacy, and ambition despite the fame. It's not my favourite song but the originality and sincerity of the song's concept is impressive.

You can see her doing it at 10:00. Many Indian fans have been calling her out on twitter and in her IG comments for mocking Bharatanatyam, a traditional Indian dance that dates back to many centuries ago. Fans are asking her to apologize, no word on if she has or is planning to.

Robert Pattinson talks life many years after Twilight


Robert Pattinson recently gave an interview where he talks a bit about his life now. He currently drives a ten year old car that he bought for a thousand dollars and it broke down the morning of the interview so when leaving, he had to order an Uber from his also somewhat-broken iPhone.

He doesn't want to talk much about his relationships, but when asked if he's on good terms with exes Kristen Stewart and FKA Twigs, he says he is. He doesn't think of those relationships ending as a sign that he should've avoided dating famous women because they both lasted quite a while

One of his oldest Hollywood friends is Katy Perry who he met before she was famous: “She’s exactly the same. That’s difficult to do,”

In general he thinks celebrity has changed a lot since he first came to LA in 2006 as cameraphones became more and more popular and that actors today are a lot more tame: "Debauchery has been cancelled. The whole of debauchery.”

He waves away career comparisons to Timothee Chalamet: “Straight off the bat he’s nominated for an Oscar. Different world! At his age I was doing mall tours. I actually did love it. One of the more fun things to do with Twilight.”

-Pulp had been a relatively unnoticed band for 16 years by the time their 4th album came out in April 1994, just after the death of Kurt Cobain and the rise of Britpop
-Fun fact: At some point in those 16 years, Jarvis Cocker was performing in a wheelchair because he fell out of a window while trying to impress a lady
-Their album was ahead of it's time in terms of love, sex, romance, and recontextualizing masculinity - "it sounded like they actually cared about women"
-But even at the time, their sound seemed out of place, given Oasis and Blur's "pre-Brexit" anthems

-Indio Downey, 25-year-old son of Robert Downey Jr., is currently the lead singer of The Dose, an LA grunge band. They just released their second album, Saline.
-The band just finished a U.S./EU/UK tour opening for Good Charlotte, which they say helped them lock in their sound
-They don't want people to think they're just a throwback grunge band although this OP would be fine with that - they have lots of "sounds and textures" to offer
-They close out their shows with their single, "Tart," which Indio says "is about feeling like my delusions are tearing me away from the one I love"
