18 Years Later: A Look Back at Bjork's Iconic Swan Dress

On March 25, 2001, Bjork attended the Oscars, as one of the nominees for Best Original Song. She would lose the award to Bob Dylan but she would win by wearing one of the most iconic Oscar dresses of all time. Comedian Joan Rivers would remark that Bjork should be "put into an asylum" while Canadian TV Host Steven Cojocaru called it "probably one of the dumbest things I've ever seen", exposing themselves both as fashion critics with no appreciation for the interesting or absurd. Bjork, humble queen, would late respond "it's just a dress".

For All Mankind.” An alternative timeline where the space race never ended with Joel Kinnaman.

Celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos is alleged co-conspirator in Avenatti's Nike extortion scandal

Mark Geragos and Michael Avenatti allegedly met with Nike executives last week and threatened to release information about the company sponsoring an amateur basketball team if Nike didn't pay them millions of dollars in bribes.

Mark Geragos has a long history as a celebrity lawyer. He's previously represented Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Scott Peterson, Winona Ryder, Nicole Richie, Colin Kaepernick and more. He's currently representing Jussie Smollett.

He initially represented Kesha in her case with Dr. Luke and made several unfounded public accusations against before eventually being replaced by lawyers who presumably don't talk weekly about her in-progress case on their podcast.

Nike's outside counsel in this case is David Boies' firm Boies Schiller Flexner LLP. Avenatti was reportedly arrested outside of their offices this morning. David Boies is a former Theranos board member who has recently gotten some bad press over the past couple years for representing Theranos and Harvey Weinstein in addition to personally contracting out to the surveillance of Harvey Weinstein's victims and the journalists they were speaking to in an attempt to stop the story from being published. Boeis also represented Gore in Bush v. Gore following the 2000 election.

We Finally Got a Mötley Crüe Movie and It Was Worth the Wait

Tbh just an excuse to make this post bc I read The Dirt when I was in hospital and I have fond memories. (of pulling through when I was sick, not w/ Motley lmao, but now it always reminds me of that).

[Also, if anyone watched it do you think...] They purposely skipped over Tommy Lee's women abuse. Like the whole Pamela thing was completely removed (but afaik that was bc Pam didn't want it in there, which is okay.) I knew they were gonna make him the 'fun loving guy' to balance the other members out (even though they were all trash lmao), but it was kinda gross they added in him punching that girl like right at the start of the movie so that it would be quickly forgotten later. Also I genuinely loved Douglas Booth in this, I didn't think he could act lmao i forgot he had a stupid face the whole time watching and genuinely enjoyed him as Nikki. The guy as vince was great, Iwan was a waste and MGK wasn't as good as he thought he was being.

Official: The women will headline WrestleMania 35

WWE finally confirmed today what's everyone was hoping for: The Triple Threat Match between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair will headline WrestleMania 35. This is the first time that women have ever headlined the company's biggest show (it should have happened last year tbh) and comes after the women's division received their own PPV event and Royal Rumble match last year.

WrestleMania 35 takes place April 7.

becky and charlotte did that!

Zack Snyder is fed up with the criticism over his portrayal of Batman

During a Q&A session for a three-day film screening/charity event, director Zack Snyder went on a wild rant about his portrayal of Batman in Batman v Superman and the criticism that came with it:

Someone says to me: Batman killed a guy. I’m like, ‘Fuck, really? Wake the fuck up.' Once you've lost your virginity to this fucking movie [referencing Watchmen] and then you come and say to me something about like ‘my superhero wouldn’t do that.' I’m like ‘Are you serious?’ I’m like down the fucking road on that. It’s a cool point of view to be like ‘my heroes are still innocent. My heroes didn't fucking lie to America. My heroes didn't embezzle money from their corporations. My heroes didn't commit any atrocities.' That’s cool. But you’re living in a fucking dream world.

Snyder was rumored to have been fired from Justice League after filming because Warners so was dissatisfied with what he was giving them. He hasn't been a part of the DC film world since.

do your heroes commit crimes, ontd??
Bieber shrug.

Issa Rae covers Essence Magazine

-Issa spoke to Essence on location of her upcoming romantic comedy "The Lovebirds"

- A tweet made her see herself in a way she had never allowed herself before."In my mind I'm just like, I've got to lose weight. I've been wanting to lose weight all these years and been basically pussy footing around. I really need to step it up. The tv show gave me an excuse".That outlook changed recently."I was looking through tweets a few months ago and these girls were shading me, but back handed complimenting me about how wack I was". One of the tweets said "And that stupid b*tch! If I looked like her I would never feel insecure! Rae:"And I was like what"?!

- She was born Jo-Issa Rae Diop. Her parents met in France while in school. She has four siblings.

-Says her parents helped and hurt her with her thoughts on her looks as a kid. Her mother from Louisiana was very pro black and her father from Senegal, where they lived for a time, surrounded her with cousins that were dark skinned and were considerd the beauty norm.

-In middle school the family moved to the upscale L.A. neighborhood of View Park - Windsor Hills, where she was deemed to dark and big.She felt her light skinned mother could not relate.

- She focused on being smart, accomplished and respected, relizing that there is no point in valuing the physical because it was not going to get her anywhere with the type of guys she liked that did not like her.

- She was into very cool type muscular guys in school. She stopped caring about guys who did not care about her and is flippant about guys and dating in general now.

- Her lack of a social life helped her career." When you don't have much to do, or you don't have plans on a Friday night, you make up a character that does. That was an outlet for me. I fantasized all the time about having a different life. That manifested in creating characters, worlds and scenarios.

- She would look at magazines as a kid content that her face would never sell makeup. Now she is a Covergirl." I just did'nt imagine that. Never discount anything. I think many of us become comfortable with what we are and are not and complaccent with what we're not. You dont have to be. Something that felt intangible became tangible. Thats the coolest thing in the world.

-She's proud that Insecure helps make Black girls and women be seen, like how the charecter Laura from the tv sitcom ,Family matters, who was pretty, popular and smart made her feel growing up. The actress that played Laura is named Kellie Shanygne Williams.

The film Little comes out April 12th
