Did Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes Break Up? Actor Tells Crowd He’s ‘Single’ At Oscars Afterparty

https://instagram.com/p/BuUidWwlOUa

On Sunday, Jamie Foxx said that he’s single while attending an Oscars event.

A source said that during Foxx’s half-hour performance at Byron Allen’s annual Oscars bash, he was “very nonchalant” when he mentioned his relationship status: “While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line ‘I’m single.’

An insider told Us last month that the low-key relationship with Foxx is “what Katie signed up for” and that she’s “infatuated with him.”

Holmes and Jamie have been dating since 2013.

Are Jamie and Jessica Szohr a new couple?

'The View' Round-Up: AOC on Having Kids, Cohen Testimony, Jordyn/Tristan Hookup, Kristen Bell

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was on Instagram Live the other day and talked about how young people are facing a moral dilemma about having kids given the state of the climate. Both Joy and Sunny are concerned about climate change and have frequent chats about it backstage. Meanwhile, Abby thinks this is the most outrageous thing that AOC has ever said. She thinks AOC is advocating for the extinction of the human race (LOL). Meghan brings up abortion (???) and asks Democrats if they want to be the party of late-term abortion and infanticide because that is where they are headed. Sunny tries to push back but Meghan keeps interrupting her.

Super-way-too-early 2020 (very white) Oscar season predictions

I did this last year right after the Oscars (and was like half-accurate: Roma, Vice, Beale Street, A Star is Born, First Man all got gold on Sunday), and now of course we're going to try our best to ignore this year's Best Picture and look on to the 2020 race. Before you go 'uhhh early???' yeah right. This shit is already starting to fester.

Best Picture/Acting/Directing possibilities (and this list is HELLA white compared to the previous year, sigh):

-- Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - Quentin Tarantino's newest movie coming out this summer, with the insane cast of Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, and focused around Charles Manson and the Sharon Tate murder (a messy topic in itself, but the academy loves everyone here).
-- The Report - A dramatic ass story about the CIA’s Detention and Interrogation Program, and the team who has to release the truth about what they actually did post 9/11, starring Annette Bening and and recent nominee Adam Driver.
-- The Irishman - Martin Scorsese rounded out the gang of legends (Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci) for Netflix's big drama/crimefest releasing this fall.
-- Little Women - Greta Gerwig's followup to 'Lady Bird' and another adaptation of the book, this time starring (deep breath) Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Chris Cooper, Bob Odenkirk and more whose names are escaping me.
-- A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood - The Mr. Rogers biopic starring Tom Hanks, not to be confused with the Oscar-snubbed documentary 'Won't You be My Neighbor', and directed by Marielle Heller.
-- Untitled Roger Ailes Project - I need to clarify that there is a movie being released about Ailes/Fox this year, as well as a Showtime miniseries. The movie stars Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, and John Lithgow (as Ailes) in key roles, directed by Jay Roach.
-- Rocketman - If playing an iconic musician got Rami Malek an inexplicable Oscar, why can't it work for Taron Egerton, eh? Here, the brit takes on the Elton John biopic (with John producing/consulting/involved somehow).
-- The Goldfinch - Based off the Prize–winning novel, this one stars Nicole Kidman (yes, again, as the woman just never stops working), Sarah Paulson, and ONTD's beloved Ansel Elgort.
-- Late Night - The Mindy Kaling-written dramedy about the world of late night TV, which got great reviews at Sundance, I think, and stars Emma Thompson.
-- The Farewell - the family drama starring Awkwafina which got early rave reviews, and is directed by Lulu Wang.
-- Gemini Man - Ang Lee's latest, though a bit on the sci-fi side, starring Will Smith as an over-the-hill hitman facing off against a younger clone of himself.
-- Lucy In The Sky - Natalie Portman stars in this space drama, where she begins to slowly unravel and lose touch with reality after returning to Earth from a life-changing mission. This also stars Jon Hamm, Dan Stevens, and Zazie Beetz.
-- Queen & Slim - Written by Lena Waithe and starring Daniel Kaluuya, this undoubtedly controversial movie is about a black couple’s first date that wrong when they shoot a cop in self-defence before going on the run.
-- The Laundromat - Steven Soderbergh's latest about a group of reporters tackling the Panama Papers, starring Gary Oldman, Meryl Streep, David Schwimmer, and Jeffrey Wright.
-- The Woman in the Window - will it FINALLY be Amy Adams' year? Who knows, but she's starring in this drama about an agoraphobic woman living alone in NYC who spies on her new neighbors (Gary Oldman & Julianne Moore) only to witness a disturbing act of violence.

'Escape Room' is the new 'Saw', second installment planned next year

escaproom.jpg

Columbia Pictures ordered a sequel to this year's Escape Room, a surprise smash in the January box office wasteland, with Adam Robitel returning to direct. The sequel is set to be released on April 17, 2020.

Kacey Musgraves covered “Como La Flor” in Houston because anything for Selena

Órale! Last night, Grammy Award winner and country singer Kacey Musgraves covered the Iconic 1992 Spanish single “Como La Flor” by Selena. Musgraves opened with the song at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo wearing an all white bell bottomed jumpsuit.

This tribute comes almost exactly 24 years after Quintanilla-Pérez performed her last concert at the venue on February 26th 1995 and one month before her untimely death. Like Selena, Musgraves is also a proud Texas native and has always been a fan of the late singer. While her rendition was not perfect, it wasn’t completely terrible says this OP. Thoughts?

On Sunday, before the Oscars started, Shallow broke the record set by Adele's "Hello" for second most consecutive days at #1 on the Worldwide iTunes chart.
