Lady Gaga recieves standing ovation at TIFF
Gaga was brought to tears after she received a standing ovation from her A Star Is Born co-stars and the audience at the film's premiere at TIFF.

Gaga told the crowd, "I am so humbled and so grateful to be here this evening... This movie has completely changed my life because of these incredible, loving, kind people that I'm on stage with. I love my cast so much, and to say that Bradley is a consummate professional and incredible filmmaker would be an understatement. I felt privileged every single day that I was on set to watch him work with a ninja-like precision, with such a vision, such a passion, and then also liberation. I really believe that we all fell in love like a family on the set. And I hope that you feel the love from us tonight."

Nyle DiMarco calls out Netflix’s ‘Sierra Burgess Is A Loser’

Model, actor, and my husband: Nyle DiMarco called out Netflix’s latest teen flick on Twitter for its Trash storylines:

“So one of my close friends' deaf brother is in Sierra Burgess. When I learned, I was elated. Finally more deaf actors/representation & ASL inclusion in films...only to find out the deaf character was written and used for a terrible joke.

PS- pretending to be deaf is NOT ok.”

The actor Nyle is referring to is Cochise Zornoza, who plays Ty, little brother to main character Jamey (Noah Centineo).

In the film, Sierra (Shannon Purser) meets Jamey in person after catfishing him and talking on the phone with him. She worries he’ll recognize her voice, so she does not speak and pretends to be deaf. Jamey calls his brother Ty over and introduces him to Sierra. He is visibly excited and speaks to her in ASL, but she doesn’t know how to respond back and after few awkward seconds, she gives him a fist bump.

Nyle adds: “There were homophobic and transphobic jokes as well. It is extremely easy to make jokes about marginalized/disfranchised groups...but that makes you a lazy writer. And honestly you shouldn’t make these jokes AT ALL because our lives are on the line.”

Paul McCartney is detailing some wild sex stories

Paul McCartney is detailing some wild sex stories from his days in The Beatles in a new interview for GQ.

Paul McCartney and John Lennon masturbated together to Brigitte Bardot.
“What it was, was over at John’s house, and it was just a group of us,” he explained. “And instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying — I don’t even know if we were staying over or anything — we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did.”

“We were just, ‘Brigitte Bardot! Whoo!’ And then everyone would thrash a bit more,” he said, adding that at one point, Lennon shouted Winston Churchill’s name, which killed the mood.

He also recalls a time when he requested two prostitutes.
“There was once when we were in Vegas where the tour guy, a fixer, said, ‘You’re going to Vegas, guys — you want a hooker?’ We were all, ‘Yeah!’ And I requested two. And I had them, and it was a wonderful experience. But that’s the closest I ever came to an orgy. See, the thing is, in the next room I think the guys might have ordered something else off the menu. So that would figure if John was saying, yeah, it was all bacchanalian.”

Do you have any wild sex stories?

'New Mutants' is getting more of a horror makeover in reshoots

Talking with Anya Taylor-Joy, cast in New Mutants (which was supposed to be released this year and sent back for reshoots), the actress shares that the movie will be more of a horror movie, darker and given an R rating.

"It's crazy exciting! I love my character. I have such a connection to Illyana. And I don't find [the delay] frustrating because when the film comes out, we want it to be something that will make the fans truly happy. Taking the time to do it, whilst people might find it a little bit frustrating to wait for it, when we deliver it, it's going to be fantastic."

"I think we're making the movie that we set out to make, in the beginning. . It feels like the movie we all signed up to do, which is good."

Movieweb recently reported that Disney will release all films Fox has in production after the merger is done. New Mutants looks like it might be last in the X-men franchise to be released (if Marvel doesn't hard reboot the whole thing), following Dark Phoenix, which is slated to be released in 2019 also.

Boyd Holbrook Says He’s ‘Proud of’ Olivia Munn’s Handling of ‘Predator’ Sex Offender Situation

He voices support for Munn and apologizes for his earlier silence.

“I want to start by apologizing for this statement coming late in the current conversation. I do not take any of what has gone on lightly, and I want to speak from the most honest and genuine place possible. I have stated before, and I will state it again, I am proud of Olivia for the way that she handled a difficult and alarming situation, and I am grateful that Fox took the information seriously and took action swiftly.”

“It is true that I pulled out of a small amount of press on Saturday, as this type of social commentary is new to me and given the nature of the originating crime, I felt further discussion could cause unwanted trauma and pain, neither of which I wanted to incite to the anonymous young woman,”

“I now realize that my understanding of the situation was not the full picture and the last thing I want is for Olivia to ever feel abandoned or alone. We are in the midst of a very crucial and important time and it is imperative that we keep listening,”

Penn Badgley Clarifies His Remarks After Griping About Being ‘Molested’ By ‘Gossip Girl’ Fans

Penn Badgley is stepping back some comments he made after complaining that some overzealous fans “molested” him during the height of his “Gossip Girl” fame.
“I think as an actor you can become an object of desire, which is something women are already accustomed to more or less around the world — I’ve definitely been, I mean I don’t want to sound sensationalist, but I’ve literally been molested — just in the literal sense of the word — by many people in the moment. Because that’s what they do.”

Badgley later clarified his intention in using the word “molested.”
“The point of my comment was not to confess a personal trauma. I was speaking about the way emotional and physical boundaries are violated for someone in the public eye, who is seen as an object of desire. Depending on so many factors, it can range from conscious abuse to something very unconscious — and that is the point I was making, cautiously, in the context of a conversation about fanaticism and cultural norms which support manipulative or abusive behaviour. These are the same norms which support predatory men, but not exclusively predatory men. They affect, and infect, us all.”

Barry Jenkins Says Driver Called Him N-Word During 'Moonlight' Awards Campaign

Barry Jenkins shared a story about a driver calling him the n-word during the Moonlight era.
He was waiting on his ride from the Governor Awards to Dear White People director Justin Simien's after-party.

"My driver, he had a hard time getting in and out of the valet, because if you pull up and your person’s not there, you've got to drive out and circle around. I come out and the valet person is just like, shocked. I'm like, 'What's up?' He goes, 'Oh, you shouldn't get in the car with that dude.' I'm like, 'Why?' He goes, 'Oh, because when I was out here before, he looked all agitated, and I said to him, 'What's wrong?' He goes, 'Oh, you know, nothing, I'm just sitting around here waiting around to pick up this n****r.' And then he smiled and said, 'Oh, and he's probably going to get nominated for Best Director.'' Subtext: But he's still just a n****r."

Shannen Doherty talks Cancer & Charmed reboot

-On Charmed: “I think it's great. I think it's awesome, I think second lives are amazing, so I'm all for it… I'm happy to see that a show, that back then was all about strong women who supported and loved each other, is now coming back again in this day and age. It's about female empowerment again -- not that that's something new. Charmed originally was that too. But I think it's wonderful, you know? And it's providing a lot of jobs for people, and I honestly, I just wish them well. And I hope that everyone just gives them a chance.”

-On Cancer: "It's the best time in the world for me to be an actor because I'm so in touch with every single emotion, it's maybe a little bit of fear, but it's also this overwhelming feeling of gratefulness and just humility. And I think the humility really is what knocks you on your feet the most and brings forth those tears. It's also the fear that anybody else is going to go through it. I hate to be the person who goes, 'Oh my God, the sky is so blue all of the sudden.' But you really start noticing a lot more things around you, and appreciating everything."

Friendship is dead as Flipping Outs Jeff Lewis & Jenni Pulos at war

Collapse )
-Just as Flipping Out is set to premiere Jeff Lewis has taken his displeasure for former friend and side kick of 20yrs, Jenni Pulos to IG noticeably X'ing her out of the cast photo.

-Jeff went on his radio show the other day to spill all the tea on their big feud and how there is no coming back this time.
“I want to be honest with my listeners and I want to be honest with my viewers, because I respect my viewers and I do have something to apologize for, I have always claimed that Flipping Out is a true authentic un-produced show. It is. However, Jenni has not worked for me — she has not been working for me for several, several seasons, and I apologize because it is the one inauthentic thing about the show. She is employed by Bravo. She shows up the day of filming, she leaves the day we are done filming. She doesn’t work for me seven months out of the year. She’s not employed by me. I don’t pay her. She’s not on my payroll. I was afraid that if she left my office, people wouldn’t watch.”

-He said a lot more but thats the brunt of it. THOUGH....Jenni has allegedly filed a wrongful termination suit with Bravo over her firing from Flipping Out and has claimed that Jeff has allegedly abused her.

-Jeff knows that Bravo most likely wont pick up Flipping Out for a 12th season without Jenni around.

-Part of their breakup will play out on the show which premieres tonight at 10pm.
