Azealia Banks has something to say about the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj altercation

• Asks “what is the Tea?” and “why are the girls fighting?”

• Says Cardi B is a bird and that she doesn’t understand “the rules of black female etiquette.”

• Says in 2018 black women fight with their words and not with their hands.

• “The campesino jumped out!”
(in Spanish-speaking regions) a peasant farmer.

• Says Cardi B can’t call herself black no more and that she can come for her if she wants.

• Ends with more jumped out comments: “The ten for $1 plátanos jumped out,” being the last one.

Debut Pop Album "Language" by MNEK is Out... And It's Amazing

He probably stans your fav / he probably wrote+produced for your fav.

MNEK has come a long way since dropping his ep Small Talk in 2015 featuring bops "Wrote a Song About You" and "Every Little Word". Language brings 90's/2000's r&b melodies and breakbeats (think Full Moon Brandy), especially in "Girlfriend", "Honeymoon Phaze", and "Phone", to more contemporary pop songs like "Color" and "Free". And he sure does his interludes, with 5 of them occupying the 16 tracks.

"Body", "Girlfriend", "Paradise", "Honeymoon Phaze" (whew its outro), "Phone", and of course the singles are giving me the FEELS, the dimension is his sound is always ace. But I'm sensing this album will be slept on in this beige scene of pop.

Once you check it out, have any favs?

Cardi B throws a shoe at Nicki

  • from ivegotanlj: "Cardi went to approach Nicki about her shit-talking Kulture, Nicki's guard elbowed Cardi in the face, and Nicki then hid behind a wall of like 7 guards when Cardi was legitimately upset about being assaulted. Nicki deserves all of the bad things. At the same time."

George Zimmerman threatened Beyoncé & Jay-Z *allegedly* in series of texts

- Scum of the earth George Zimmerman is trending on Twitter, I thought he'd died, but unfortunately cockroaches will roam this planet for eternity. He sent a series of texts to private investigator Dennis Warren threatening the couple during the production of their new docu series on Trayvon Martin.

- Zimmerman was charged in May for stalking and harassing the private investigator.

- Via text he says: 'Oh yea and tell Jay-Z he's a b***h and his wife is a broke w***e. If I see either of them in my life, they'll find themselves inside a 13 foot gator'

- The texts will appear in the final episode of the six-part docu series 'Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story' on Monday at 10pm ET

The Beyhive right now:

The Internet is divided on Mustard Pizza: Jimmy Kimmel and Heinz weigh in on the food controversy

Yes, you read that correctly. A pizzeria in New York named Lions & Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza is substituting the tomato sauce in a pizza for mustard and tops it off with corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese. A video by Food Insider shows — what I can only describe as violence against food — how the pizzeria makes this atrocity.

But how and why? Blame it on the alcohol: “A guy came in there, he was drunk. He was slurring and he was trying to order a mushroom pie. The old Italian guy said, ‘Mustard pie? Give it to him!’ They put the mustard on the pie with the tomato sauce and it was a hit,” says Francis Garcia, co-owner of Lions & Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza. The owners loved this monstrosity so much that they decided to make this a permanent fixture on their menu.

According to Mustard loving Jimmy Kimmel who tried a slice himself: “It’s really good, it’s delicious.” Clearly, he can’t be trusted.

But it didn’t stop there, oh no, Heinz got involved and brought up ketchup into the discussion. I am disgusted.

ONTD Original: Female Rappers To Check Out

I figured since Nicki's been canceled, Cardi should be canceled, Iggy canceled herself, and Azealia never was it's time to invested in some more female rappers.
I know there are a shit ton of female rappers out at the moment, but many ONTDers don't know about them or more than likely ya'll don't listen to hip hop and just want to complain. I will admit that while I've heard of most of these ladies I don't listen to a ton of them. Let's change that together, today. I think all 50 or so ONTDers can band together and give these ladies a few streams. Spread the word to your twitter compadres. Rave about them on ATRL/OneHallyu/KTT/LSA (maybe not, cuz all those sites hate women). Maybe we can get one of these ladies on the Hot 100.

I won't lie; I like trap music, so Rico Nasty speaks to me. In terms of women likely to blow up in the future Rico Nasty is next up. Her sound is very mainstream and she's gaining fame very fast.

Armie Hammer teases the sequel to 'Call Me by Your Name', possible Dakota Johnson casting, more

Armie Hammer, while promoting 'Hotel Mumbai' on Saturday, teased the upcoming sequel to 'Call Me by Your Name', which he said is definitely happening because those involved - including director Luca Guadagnino - are well into working on it. Hammer himself is 1000% gung-ho to get back to do the series again, which he said was the most immersive and enjoyable production experience he's had.

When the reporter mentioned they heard Dakota Johnson would play Oliver's wife in the sequel, Hammer smiled though brushed it off. Johnson stars in Guadagnino's upcoming 'Suspiria', and the two have done previous projects before.

Hammer: “How much do I know and how much could I tell you are two very different things. I know a lot, but I can’t tell you anything. More than anything I trust the artistic direction to Luca and [novelist] André Aciman and to those guys who did such a good job handling it the first time around. The only thing I want to see is I want to see it happen. I want to do it again.”

Olivia Munn continues speaking out against Shane Black

In case you missed it: Hours before its premiere at TIFF, word got out that the reimagining of The Predator contained a scene with a registered sex offender, actor Steven Wilder Striegel. Striegel also happens to be a friend of the film's director Shane Black. When Olivia Munn found out she was involved in the scene with Strigel, she immediately went to Fox, who removed the scene. The studio released a statement saying that legal limitations on background checks for actors impeded its ability to learn of Striegel's crime when he was hired.

Munn was interviewed today by THR about it. The interview was originally meant to be all-ensemble, but beside from Jacob Tremblay, the rest of the cast backed out at the last minute.

-- "It’s been most tough on the Jane Doe that was in the story because the victim is the victim. Whatever she’s gone through the subsequent years is most important to me."
-- "We’re making movies. We’re not in the mafia. I haven’t spoken against the family. This guy isn’t in our movie anymore. I try to do the right thing and that’s all I can do."
-- She hasn't heard from Shane Black but saw his apology when it was posted online. She would have appreciated it more if he told her in person. Says she feels by some people (didn't say who tho we can clearly guess) that she was the one who went to jail or hired the guy. Says it feels very lonely being there doing promo by herself.
-- Mentions that you can't depend on the people in power to make a change, as they are the ones colluding with the abusers and turning a blind eye just to make money. Says only when fans use their wallets will they actually care.
-- Wouldn't give someone who hurt children a second chance.

First trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan in "Wildlife"

  • IFC Films presents WILDLIFE, the directorial debut of Paul Dano (THERE WILL BE BLOOD, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE), co-written along with Zoe Kazan (THE BIG SICK). Elegantly adapted from Richard Ford’s novel of the same name, Carey Mulligan (MUDBOUND, AN EDUCATION) delivers one of her finest performances to date as Jeanette, a complex woman whose self-determination and self-involvement disrupts the values and expectations of a 1960s nuclear family. Fourteen-year-old Joe played by newcomer Ed Oxenbould, is the only child of Jeanette (Mulligan) and Jerry (Jake Gyllenhaal)—a housewife and a golf pro—in a small town in 1960s Montana. Nearby, an uncontrolled forest fire rages close to the Canadian border, and when Jerry loses his job—and his sense of purpose—he decides to join the cause of fighting the fire, leaving his wife and son to fend for themselves. Suddenly forced into the role of an adult, Joe witnesses his mother’s struggle as she tries to keep her head above water. With precise details and textures of its specific time and place, WILDLIFE commits to the viewpoint of a teenage boy observing the gradual dissolution of his parents’ marriage. WILDLIFE will be released by IFC Films on October 19, 2018.

Camping (2018) | Official Trailer | HBO

  • To celebrate her husband Walt’s (David Tennant) 45th birthday, the obsessively organized and aggressively controlling Kathryn (Jennifer Garner) gathers together her meek sister, her holier-than-thou ex-best friend and a free-spirited tagalong — and what was supposed to be a delightful, back-to-nature camping trip quickly becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime that won’t soon be forgotten. The show is written and executive produced by Lena Dunham (creator and star of HBO’s “Girls”), Jenni Konner (executive producer of HBO’s “Girls”) and John Riggi, and is based on the British series of the same name created by Julia Davis and produced by Baby Cow Productions. The cast includes Oscar® nominee Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto (“Independence Day: Resurgence”), Ione Skye (“Fever Pitch”), Janicza Bravo, Brett Gelman (“Stranger Things”), and Bridget Everett (“Trainwreck”).

First trailer for Harmony Korine's "THE BEACH BUM"

  • THE BEACH BUM follows the hilarious misadventures of Moondog (Matthew McConaughey), a rebellious rogue who always lives life by his own rules. Co-starring Snoop Dog, Zac Efron, Isla Fisher, Jonah Hill, Jimmy Buffett, Stefania LaVie Owen and Martin Lawrence, THE BEACH BUM is a refreshingly original and subversive new comedy from director Harmony Korine (Kids, Spring Breakers). The film opens March 22, 2019.

Another edgy film from Mr Korine, huh? Did you like Spring Breakers, ONTD?
