Where is the album of the year aka Carly Rae Jepsen's fourth studio album? an ONTD Investigation



Pop music savior, LGBTQ Icon, Canadian singer, songwriter, actress, activist, best selling author, and prime minister Carly Rae Jepsen has quietly been working on her follow up to 2015's Grammy Album of the Year E•MO•TION. It's been nearly three long years since we've been blessed with a full fledged studio album. Yes, we got SIDE B (and we should have gotten SIDE C - Z) as well as 2016's Song of the Summer Cut to the Feeling to hold us over. But all signs were pointing to a EARLY 2018 release. We're knee deep into Summer now and we're more than half way through the year and we got nothing. Will the real Scooter Braun please stand up? We need answers, we need a solid first single yesterday, visuals, promo, a world tour, commercials in Japan, all of it. Join me as I lazily investigate (aka sorta Google while I eat a sandwich and forget the point of this post) for non-answers and what we know so far about Jepsen's upcoming fourth studio album.

Ariana Grande gives up on ɹǝuʇǝǝʍs and plans on no more promotion




#BadDecisions2018 keeps on getting worst and fucked up for Ariana Grande. Now the burnt spray tan mumble chanteuse has revealed she has no further plans to promote ɹǝuʇǝǝʍs. Confirming on social media, the dick bicycle rider cites that past promotional tours aggravated her soul: “...it destroyed my mental health and was horrible for me,” continuing with her zayn-esque out burst: “I don’t remember anything ab [sic] those years of my life and am doing so much better now,” she added. “Career wise and health wise. Stop coming for me and my team when I’ve never been better literally in any department. LITERALLY.”




Grande can't afford not to promote her upcoming project. The pop climate is at a slump, her peer Miley Cyrus' latest album sold poorly and veteran Christina Aguilera fell off the top 200 album chart a week after her album was released no surprise there. Grande does not have the pull or is on the level of a tier one pop girl. She is slightly above bottom of the barrel pop girls Meghan Trainor and Demi Lovato.

ɹǝuʇǝǝʍs was garnering a lot traction but halted due to her relationship with Gummy Jon Cryer. Now Ariana seems to have abandon all fucks about the album that will not be released until August 17.

Demi Lovato Hospitalized For Suspected Heroin Overdose

Hospitalized for a heroin overdose, no information on her condition. Was brought to the hospital around noon today from her Hollywood Hills home.

Update: Law enforcement have confirmed that she was treated at her home with Narcan, an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses. The OD happened at her home. Still no info on her current condition.

Update 2: People is reporting that Demi is "stable", and while TMZ is reporting she overdosed on heroin, a source close to Demi says it was not heroin.

Update 3: Demi's aunt Kerissa Dunn, posted on social media that Demi is "awake and responsive."

Queen of dark pop Teddy Sinclair fka Natalia Kills posted this IG pic with a caption that could possibly be teasing new music since the underrated 2016 EP +30mg.

In 2015 Natalia Kills was crucified by the public for the X-Factor stunt and since has been releasing music in other pseudonyms artistic identities. It's a shame since her music of #quality and #poetry is under the radar while the public is caping and supporting far more toxic artists who've displayed more questionable behavior but I digress.

Excited about the next Cruel Youth album? 30mg was gorgeous but I need upbeat anthems!

'Little Women' May Have Found Its Beth in Eliza Scanlen


  • Eliza Scanlen, who is currently starring as Amma in HBO's Sharp Objects, is in talks to join Greta Gerwig's Little Women remake.

  • She screen-tested with Emma Stone and beat out a number of other young women for the role, presumed to be that of Beth March.

  • Also starring are Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet and Florence Pugh.

  • The film begins shooting in October.

Demi Lovato's Overdose: 'This Is Absolutely What So Many People Feared'




People Magazine received information from a source close to Demi and provided the below background and context for her recent struggles.

“This is absolutely what so many people feared would happen. She has not been sober for quite some time but more tragically, has had no interest in being sober.”

After splitting with life coach Mike Bayer, things got worse.
“The disease Demi has is a vicious liar and it’s been telling her for some time that she can use just a little, just one or two drinks, nothing too serious, nothing bad will happen, she can keep it under control.”

“And when she could, for a few months, it seemed like vindication to her, proof that she could keep it under control.”

“Things have been a total mess for months.”

“She and her team severed ties, and they played a large part in getting her sober years ago. She hasn’t been in a good place.”

Jesse Camp Has Been Located, Is OK


  • To follow up on this post, police in Riverside, CA have located former MTV VJ Jesse Camp.

  • They posted on their twitter that law enforcement was in contact with him, and that he's not in any need of assistance.

  • His sister had reported him missing after he'd been out of touch for weeks.

  • His family has been notified, and there will be no further info on the matter.

  • Starfire is a superhero from DC Comics (she's a princess, heir to the throne of Tamaran, who was sold into slavery)

  • Anna Diop is a Senegalese-American actress who plays Starfire in the upcoming Titans show on DC Universe

  • When the Titans trailer was released last week, social media was hit with a bunch of angry fans complaining that Anna Diop is too ugly and too dark to play Starfire

  • In response, Diop has now disabled comments on her Instagram (except for her most recent post, which is filled with all sorts of comments like "racism is unacceptable, but she's still the wrong person to play Starfire" and one woman arguing that it's actually racist to make an orange-skinned alien black)
