In a video from one of Cardi B's old Breakfast Club interviews where she talks about how she likes having sex with women, but could never fall in love with one, she refers to the lesbian women she used to date as "dykes". This clip began to recirculate yesterday.
Cardi responded in a now deleted tweet:
After deleting her first tweet about it, she continued:
If I’m going to apologize for something is for not knowing what are the right terms to call people .You guys want me to be something that I’m not I’m not going to let you make me feel like I’m something that I’m not .Ya so quick to bash but not educate .

He spent the whole “session” constantly resting his hand down his pants/on his belt like he was putting away a gun in a holster. Then he massaged my shoulders to get better vocal because I “looked tense” it was impossible to work, he made me feel so anxious. I left. Ty$ was there https://t.co/qmrrVVXh2u
For many musicians, once they've conquered the music world Hollywood comes calling. This results in varying levels of success. Some just do it once because a particular role was perfect for them, some show that they actually can act, and some never get it quite right. There have been performances that garner Oscars and others that become punchlines. This post is dedicated to those musicians who swapped the stage for the screen.

As Tess sips her wine, Simone teaches her about the coding of our tongues: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, leading Tess to become even more enthralled by Simone.
A user on YouTube recently uploaded a video of Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe over Childish Gambino's music video for his critically acclaimed song, This Is America, and the video has gone viral for how well the two clips synced up. "Let's talk about the good, the bad, and the method of Jake Gyllenhaal. Jake, with his pretty cow eyes, that chameleon face of his, that breath control perfect for the stage... and elsewhere. From bleakly funny Donnie Darko to the heartbreaking tenderness of Brokeback Mountain to the intense Southpaw (and yes, even the atrocious Prince of Persia), Jake has always been one to watch."

Last Friday the VP for Student Affairs at Duke University walked into an on campus coffee shop and heard "Get Paid" by Young Dolph come over the speakers and got offended at the coarse language in the song lyrics. He demanded it be turned off (which it was) and that the barista serving him pay for his vegan muffin to apologise for playing the song. By Monday the two staffers on duty at the time were fired. Yesterday (the 11th) the two were flown to Miami and gifted $10k each by Young Dolph.
Lena Dunham opened up recently about her breakup with Jack Antonoff, who was her partner for over five years. It was a hard time going back to loving being single for her.
"We sat in our shared kitchen of nearly four years and quietly faced each other, acknowledging what nobody wanted to say,” Dunham wrote in an essay for Vogue. During the process, she had to love being single again.
"For an exquisite moment, rather than mourn the loss of my partner, I mourned the loss of my bravery,” Dunham said. “I used to have no problem staring into the face of the hostess [in a restaurant] when I said, ‘Just one for dinner, thank you.'” To help get back to her normal self, she would take long baths, read poetry books, go back to restaurants solo, and eventually moved out of her parent's place.
Since the breakup, the two remained in close contact during Lena's hysterectomy. He took the home they shared in Brooklyn when she moved in with her parents. No word on anything about Lorde.
