Did Tyrese admit to marriage fraud during a morning radio show appearance?

TYRESE: We had an angel. But I married you to keep you in the country. I never married you because I was happily married. You’re from London. I married you because we had a baby on the way and I had to do whatever I had to do so I’m not traveling all the way to London just to spend quality time with my baby. So now you’re running around painting this picture, like we was [Tyrese sings the tune of the Bridal Chorus], like bro we got married and there was like 7 people there. Like, I am the most flashiest, flamboyant dude other than Floyd Mayweather. I am the flashiest. There’s nothing that’s low key and quiet. You know that I married her to keep her in the country.

If you couldn't get enough of Tyrese's antics, he appeared on the The Rickey Smiley Show on December 4th. The show's hosts congratulated Tyrese on getting 50/50 custody of his child. Then he talks about the spanking issue and his current divorce proceedings with his ex-wife Norma. Towards the end of the interview, he provides the above quote talking about his marriage to his ex-wife.

Marriage fraud in the US is a felony offense which can lead to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. There could be more penalties depending on what happened because ICE conducts these investigations.

However, Tyrese made clarifications on his Instagram after his appearance.

Nepotism Report: Sylvester Stallone's Daughter Models for W Magazine

-Sylvester Stallone's 19 year old daughter, Sistine, has been using her dad's fame to generate a modelling career and has recently appeared in W Magazine.
-She's both modelling holiday dresses and is also the subject of a new interview.
-The writer tries very hard right off the bat to make her seem interesting and unique:

"But instead of the barrage of pop music you might expect from a 19-year-old, Stallone DJ'ed an eclectic playlist of hits from the ‘60s through the ‘80s, ranging from Dolly Parton to Aerosmith."

-Her and her sisters being chosen as Miss Golden Globe back in January is referred to as her "breakout appearance".
-Says the Stallone family has been approached to do a reality show called "Syncing Up With the Stallones" but that they have turned it down. She says that she likes that they are "a mystery".

Painfully average. Who are the best/worst of the nepotism models, ONTD?

Russell Crowe apologises for joke about “sodomising” female co-star

Russell Crowe was speaking at the 2017 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards in Sydney, telling the audience an anecdote about filming a sex scene with co-star Jacqui McKenzie in the film "Romper Stomper".

Crowe's Speech:
“I was sodomising Jacqui McKenzie on the set of Romper Stomper, and I didn’t actually intend to do that,” Crowe said. “I was trying to keep my bits away from her bits, and she’s been given one of those pieces of elastic that the girls get when you do those scenes, which protects them from all things, and my bits and pieces were in a little canvas sack with a drawstring”.

“And it wasn’t actually in my desire to keep the bits apart. It wasn’t until the opening night of the film that it was pointed out by none other than Jacqui McKenzie’s beautiful late mother that we were in fact, in her mind, engaged in sodomy. Anyway, that was just a story about sensitivity!”

Crowe has since apologized for his remarks, saying in a statement: “Actors and actresses by the nature of our job get thrown into some embarrassing, bizarre and extreme circumstances. It’s an ironic combination that sensitivity required for the job has also to be coupled with an ability to put aside your embarrassment and fears and cope with the humiliation.”

WH Press Sec Sanders tweets out clarification: US will go to Olympics

Yesterday, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said it was an "open question" whether the US would send its athletes to the Olympics due to security concerns. Today, at 1pm EST, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about it:

That's the kind of big decision that should've been made already in any sane administration, as a lot of people and organizations have substantial preparations to make. The Trump administration seems, quite suddenly, to be unaware that decisions can be unmade at a later date, should the necessity arise. Perhaps with that in mind, Press Secretary Sanders tweeted out a clarification at 2pm EST:

Rachael Denhollander, Aly Raisman, and McKayla Maroney make statements on Larry Nassar

Rachael Denhollander was the first person to publicly speak out about Larry Nassar in September 2016. She and 2000 Olympic bronze medalist, Jamie Dantzscher who was still anonymous at time, were the only accusers at the time and there were still many gymnasts, coaches, parents of gymnasts, etc. supporting Nassar. Since then over 140 gymnasts have filed lawsuits or come out against Nassar. Today, Nassar was sentenced to 60 years in prison for posessing child pornography. After the sentence, Rachael spoke on air about how USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University were complicit.

Jessica Simpson Mom-Shamed For Putting Lipstick On Her Daughter

Jessica Simpson has been criticized for her parenting lately, first for dying her daughter's hair pink (temporary paint) for Halloween and now for posting a new photo of the two bonding over makeup.

One commenter said: "Her favourite store?! OMG. She should be playing outside or learning about the world…not sitting in a chair putting on make-up at MAC. What's wrong with you?!"

Another added, "I honestly don’t know about you and your parenting choices, girl. Putting your daughter in make-up? And dark lipstick? Let Maxi be a kid. She deserves a normal childhood."

Others were also adamant that it was wrong that her daughter be playing with makeup. Her daughter is 5.

Katy Perry Finally Changes Her Hair

She's apparently growing out her pixie cut and is now sporting a "lob" whatever that is as she headed out to Jay Z's concert.

No word on whether this is a one night thing or more permanent just yet but she did post an American Idol promo shot rocking the same type and length of hair so it may be here to stay.

Speaking on cutting her hair before, she had said: "Now I can’t hide behind it. I wanted to know that I could still feel beautiful and love myself without it. It’s fun, it’s freeing, it’s liberating, and I don’t think that 'sexiness' and 'femininity' is just one thing—long hair. I suppose the goal is to redefine what femininity means to me."

Gabrielle Union on the #MeToo movement: “I think the floodgates have opened for white women”

Gabrielle Union spoke about how women of color fit into the growing #MeToo movement.

She asserted strongly that women of color haven’t been heard as enthusiastically. “I think the floodgates have opened for white women,” she said. “I don’t think it’s a coincidence whose pain has been taken seriously. Whose pain we have showed historically and continued to show. Whose pain is tolerable and whose pain is intolerable. And whose pain needs to be addressed now.”

“If those people hadn’t been Hollywood royalty,” she asked, referring to some of the women who first spoke out about Harvey Weinstein. “If they hadn’t been approachable. If they hadn’t been people who have had access to parts and roles and true inclusion in Hollywood, would we have believed?”

She knows that her own platform gave her a place that allowed her to speak for people who have gone through similar experiences. She calls herself a “perfect victim”: not just because of her current celebrity status, but also because she was raped at work, because it was caught on surveillance and the police were called — but also because the majority of sexual assaults aren’t reported to the police, according the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network.

“When we have the microphone, how often do we pass it back to the people who are experiencing a different challenge, but who are equally worthy as having the microphone?” Ms. Union asked.

And then she stopped herself. “I just did this,” she said, and stretched her hand backward, over her head, as if she was symbolizing a passing of the microphone to someone behind her.

But the microphone shouldn’t be passed behind, she said, acknowledging that many people still feel ignored.

“It should be passed to the side.”

Amber Heard takes issue with Warner Bros. defending Johnny Depp's Fantastic Beasts casting
