In a follow up to this post, some of the actors on shows Andrew Kreisberg run have spoken out in support of the people Andrew Kreisberg of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment for women. Fifteen women came forward and four men also came forward to support the women making accusations and talked about their failed attempts to intervene and get Kreisberg to stop abusing his power on set. Kreisberg has since been suspended by the CW.
Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist released this statement directly to twitter where she criticizes Kreisberg and says people who speak up should always be heard.
Mods: I tried looking for more reactions but could not find any other actors or staff commenting on this. This took a long time sifting through social media of various actors since Kreisberg ran four shows featuring large ensembles. Ciara Renee, who plays Hawkgirl, has retweeted Melissa, Emily, and Chyler’s tweets though. Please consider accepting this regardless. Major media sources are reporting on these social media posts.
Amir and Faryal seem to have patched things up after a dramatic break up during August. Both took to social media to attack one another. Amir also said on twitter and snapchat that he was going to divorce Faryal.

Karl Lagerfeld has caused outrage after slamming Angela Merkel for opening Germany’s borders to migrants.
In an appearance on a French television show, Karl Lagerfeld said, “One cannot, even if there are decades between them, kill millions of Jews so you can bring millions of their worst enemies in their place.”
He added, “I know someone in Germany who took a young Syrian and after four days said, ‘The greatest thing Germany invented was the Holocaust.’”
Amid everything that's happened with sexual misconduct allegations and Jesse's apology and all that, Brand New postponed their UK tour until further notice.
The shows were supposed to start Thursday of this week. Refunds are being offered. "Due to the events of the last few days, Brand New will be postponing it's upcoming three shows in the United Kingdom and Ireland."
In the comments, some fans have been encouraging the band to do a farewell tour but donate proceeds directly to the survivors of this and/or charities which help women.
Other fans have been literally burning their merch and demanding a new apology, directly to the survivors.
Kaepernick decided not to speak to GQ but posed for photographs and had ten activists and artists including Ava DuVernay, J. Cole, and Harry Belafonte talk about what his protest against police brutality meant to them
Ava called him an artist and talked about having dinner with him the same day Trump attacked him on twitter, J. Cole praised him for sacrificing his dream to speak a higher truth, Harry Belafonte said that he's happy to be inhis 90s and see the younger generation stepping forward as activists
Stephen, Gal and Kevin's cover articles are being dropped later this week
I’m sorry, it’s another post about trash men in Hollywood. I understand these posts can be very taxing on a lot of us and if you need a break from this, practice self-care. Look at these kittens. Do a google image search for cats in doll beds or cool dogs wearing sunglasses (highly recommend both).
I think I see water colors from this potion / Paint trays and brushes, overdosin' / Smells like paint fumes and the ocean / Like an ArtPop party. It seems that the good sis Taylor Swift can't help but dabble into Britney Spears territory. Pop Icon Britney Spears has been sharing her personal artwork via Instagram as early as January of 2016. But it wasn't until a more recent Instagram post where Britney Van Gough was seen painting her Iconic ...Baby One More Time album flowers on a canvas while Mozart’s “Piano Sonata No. 11" played was it that the media caught wind of Spears additonal talent in the Arts. That painting went on to be sold for $10,000 to Robin Leach for VegasCares, an organization raising money to commission an art piece in memory of Las Vegas massacre victims. With Taylor Swift's most recent release, Reputation, the country star turned pop star released two exclusive mock up magazines for Target and in them featured artwork by Swift herself. Now while Britney's work may be a bit more...Introduction to Painting and Swift's a bit more Intermediate to Try Hard Painting - both offer a unique perspective and show a stark contrast when compared. One is simply living her best life and the other is using her artpopwork to literally tell you that she is living her best life. Are you ready for it? Let the art exhibition games begin (ah ah).
Flowery Day by Britney Spears This piece is Britney's contrast painting to Starry Night, the piece of B that started it all and went on to be sold for $10,000 for charity and recently announced a residency next year at the Met in New York City. Simple and yet simply Iconic. When viewing this piece it's best to have Mozart’s “Piano Sonata No. 11" or Carly Rae Jepsen's "Cut to the Feeling" playing in the background. Either will do. Mozartnators and Jepsenators please let's not turn this post into a Stan War yet again.

Elizabeth Perkins (Big, Weeds) was at a #MeToo rally in Los Angeles, targeting awareness for assault and harassment and to show solidarity with victims. She held up a sign with actor James Woods' name on it and under his name #MeToo. It is unclear whether or not she was accusing him of assault.
Previously, actress Amber Tamblyn accused Woods of attempting to pick her up when she was sixteen.
- John talks about the norms that Trump's precidency has violated - and the way leaders engage with us and furthermore we engage with each other - The main topic: the real damage is not in how Trump says things, but the three key techniques that he uses to insulate himself from critisism and consequence, that could potentially far outlast his precidency if we're not careful:
OP: Bless this show and it's excellent investigating reportage! (I think that's what it is?), anyways, this episode was really interesting to me and I thought people should see it (even though everyone is tired of talking about Tr*mp all the time). This is my second post here and this time I tried writing down a somewhat good transcript of what he says, hope this is ok.
At the 2017 EMAs she hosted yesterday where she had thirteen costume changes including two different bathrobes as outfits, Rita performed a medley of "Your Song" and "Anywhere".
TV host, tabloid fodder, singer once trapped in a Roc Nation contract—Rita Ora tells us about it all. https://t.co/fgWu9QRceq
Rita also recently explained what characterizes her new music: "I think with this album, what makes a Rita Ora song is that it's got that desperation for validation—do you know what I mean? You can feel it in songs like ‘Anywhere’ and ‘Lonely Together’, which I think represent my album so well."
She says the key to her success is her obsession with it: “I was thinking about it all the time—every day, every night. I may have sacrificed a lot of emotions and personal things but I don't regret that and I wouldn't change it. I think I wanted to get out of the council estate I grew up in and I wanted to give my parents something really nice. That's how it happened. I was always like: I've gotta get out of here.”
On Finding Filming For The Last Jedi To Be Much More Pressure Than The first Star Wars Movie 'I didn't think I was good in the first film, and I was struggling with that.'
On How Having Fewer Scenes With Co-Star John Boyega In The Second Star Wars Briefly Stressed Her Out 'It's not this big adventure that I'm on with John [unlike the first movie]. I was thinking I did the first one because I didn't really know what I was getting myself into and I was having loads of fun, and suddenly I'm realising what this actually is, and I can't f**king do this. I'm highly dramatic – so it's all 'oh my God'…finally I was like 'Oh yeah, this is working.''
On Dealing With The Medical Condition Endometriosis 'I was in my flat going nuts, and then my skin got really bad in the stress of it all, and I hadn't been well – I had holes in my gut wall and stuff – and we were trying to figure out what to do with that because I'd felt poorly.'
On Meeting Barbara Streisand And Featuring In Her 2016 Album 'Encore' 'I went to her house and we talked about [psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Carl] Jung because my dad loves Jung, and we were talking about dreams, and I left and got super emotional, not because she's famous, but because she's amazing. Part of her reputation comes from being a woman. If it was a man being 'controlling' about his career, people would just say he knows what he wants.'
According to TV By the Numbers, the finale garnered 1.9 million viewers and a .5 in the 18-49 demo. While it held 100% of the lead-in from Once Upon A Time’s target, 18-49 demo, and 81% of its total lead-in audience, it actually dropped 20/20’s ratings to its lowest in years. Because of the Inhumans effect, 20/20 rival Dateline (at NBC) has doubled the former’s ratings.
Background (trigger warning for rape, torture): Ella/L (a pseudonym) was outted as a lesbian in Uganda. An angry mob tried to kill her. Then the police tortured her. Then… her own father hired a man to rape her. She got a visa and plane ticket to come to the US, where she has relatives who can take her in. But when she landed in the US, hostile US Customs agents badgered her and refused to let her speak to the lawyer. She froze up and failed to trigger her asylum claim. US authorities immediately tried to deport her back to Uganda. She managed to escape her US escorts at a layover, and has been hiding in Kenya (where homosexuality is also illegal) since. There's now a #BringEllaBack campaign to get Customs and Border Protection to reeopen her case:
Alyssa Milano tweets out Ella's own account of what happened to her (additional trigger warnings: suicide attempt, pictures of scars appended below the writing):
Young Adult author Melissa Walker tweets out Ella's lawyer's list of ways for people to help (it's a screenshot of the bottom of the article that Alyssa linked to):
With triple AAA video games suddenly making a bigger push towards microtransactions and loot boxes this year, it is effecting beloved franchises like Shadow of War and Call of Duty and now it is rearing its ugly head towards Star Wars Battlefront II. In order to obtain iconic characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, which cost an in-game currency of 60,000 credits, you have to invest 40 hours into the game in order to get them and this is without spending any money on microtransactions. Other characters like Leia and Chewbacca are tiered at 40,000 credits. To put that into perspective each 10-15 minute match only rewards you with 250-350 credits.
Of course there was a clear outrage on the matter with a post spawning in the battlefront subreddit. An EA developer tried to defend the choice of locking those characters in the post stating that they want players to feel "a sense of pride and accomplishment" for unlocking them:
In less than 24 hours it has since become the most downvoted comment in reddit's history with over -400k votes. As a comparison in second place was a joke comment with -24k votes made in /r/me_irl who purposely wanted downvotes. So congratualtion EA, you definitely deserved it.
Miller's production company was supposed to get a $7 mil bonus if they came in under budget
Miller is suing because his company says they did come in under budget while WB is claiming they went over budget
Lots of complicated shady accounting on both sides
The lawsuit was filed in Australia in September, WB tried to get it taken over to California for arbitration but were denied
With Miller's production company and the WB in legal battle things don't look so good for the Furiosa sequel that Miller said he wanted to make after Fury Road
- Audrey Wauchope and Rachel Spektor used to write for One Tree Hill, which was when the harassment took place. - Stated that female writers were only hired for their looks. - He would sit next to the females and massage their hair/shoulders. She stated more happened to others, but not to her and that it wasn't her story to tell. - Nude photos of an actress he was having an affair with would be passed around without her consent. - Didn't show up to the studios sexual harassment seminar. - Asked Rachel if she really wanted to go through with her wedding and that 'maybe he'd have a shot'.
one tree hill meant a lot to me growing up so this is hella disappointing, but also not surprising. i think more is definitely going to come out about his behaviour.

In the original NY Times story in which 5 women talked about Louis C.K. sexually harassing them, two also spoke out about his powerful manager, Dave Becky, intimidating them into silence
Becky released a statement apologizing to the two women, Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov
Becky says he's releasing the statement so that others can learn from his mistakes, also says that he heard about what Louis C.K. had done "third-hand" and thought he was helping to cover up a consensual affair
Did you enjoy the Disco mid-season finale, ONTD Trekkies? (Haters are T'Kuvma Cultists) Are YOU as perpetually conniving and shady af as Captain Gabriel Lorca?!
I've been friends with Louis CK for a long time. I read the article and none of it is good. I'll have more to say about it on my own show and not a shitty platform like Twitter.
After the NY Times story in which female comics came forward about Louis CK's repeated sexual misconduct and Louis CK admitted they were true despite previously calling those women liars for years, his friend and fellow comic Marc Maron tweeted that he didn't think twitter was an appropriate forum for his thoughts on the matter and he'd be discussing it on his podcast.
NY Times reporter Sopan Deb transcribed what Marc Maron said on his podcast:
The second part of what @marcmaron had to say on @WTFpod about Louis C.K., details his personal experience with sexual assault - and also says that he will remain friends with Louis C.K.: pic.twitter.com/zijBEzwRCC
Call It What You Want, but Taylor's fans were clearly not ...Ready For It, as her SNL episode drew the worst ratings of the season.
The "Don't Blame Me" "singer" screeched a few songs off of her latest artistic effort on SNL last Saturday, with Tiffany Haddish hosting the program. The show drew a 4.3 rating, down from last week's episode with Larry David.

Julianne Moore has revealed what we were all thinking: George Clooney should not be president.
"I can't bear it, this idea of relating leaders with entertainment figures."
She says "What you want is a president who is experienced in government. You don’t want a reality show person. I don’t even want to joke about movie stars being president of the United States."
SOURCE He would be insufferable lbr. Queen Moore didn't lie. ONTD, who do you want as president?
THE SUGARMAN — Mayor McCoy cracks the fuck down on Southside High (apparently to "police state" levels according to Jughead) either because of whatever happens to Nick St. Clair or after hearing about the jingle jangle hotel party her daughter was involved in.
This leads to even worse tensions in town so newly-appointed Serpent!Jughead and Archie obviously have to borrow Reggie's car and compete in a drag race with the Ghoulies so as to prevent them from allying with the Serpents.
Betty enlists Veronica's help to crack the mystery of the Sugarman who seems to be some drug related boogeyman from Cheryl and Jason Blossom's past.
After what happened with Nick, Cheryl comes to some sort of realization and confronts her shady/crazy mom.

Allegations emerged last week that a former editor sexually assaulted two women at IGN. One example that one of the victims, Kallie Plagge, brought up on Twitter: “‘When I was your age I could go all night.’ He put his hand on my arm. ‘I just want one more night like that.’”
Plagge says that she and the other woman reported the incident, and then were told to sit and work in a glass conference room, akin to a fishbowl, while IGN sorted things out. They forced them to sign documents saying it was their fault and they behaved inappropriately. As a result,Plagge said she regrets reporting to HR.
IGN released a statement today supposedly written by the website's content team stating, among other things: "It is with great sadness, pain, and regret that we tell you that IGN has failed two of its female employees, one former and one current – both of whom the team cares deeply about. We are devastated that two of our own have had to live with and carry this pain for more than a year........The human resources representative who oversaw this situation originally is no longer with the company, and our current HR rep has been transparent and willing to listen to ideas and suggestions for how to create a better work environment going forward........We are aware of the influence that IGN has in the gaming and entertainment community, and we will utilize that to the best of our abilities going forward. And we will continue to challenge our management and human resources teams to fix what is broken, because if we can’t or if we don’t, then IGN will no longer be a place we’re proud to call home – as content creators, entertainment consumers, and as gamers."
Disgusting that the gaming industry isnt safe for women at all. I fear men will continue to dominate the industry, which means less female representation in gaming. Hope the assaulters suffer horribly

-Fans are not happy that the Amazons depicted in the Justice League appear to be showing to much skin for being warriors compared to the Amazons in Wonder Woman who have a more armored look.

Record producer and Lady Gaga's long-time collaborator DJ White Shadow (Bloody Mary, Gov. Hooker, Sexxx Dreams, The Cure) says the singer's next album will be ARTPOP's "little sister." The DJ compared the upcoming record to Gaga's controversial 2013 album, which celebrated its fourth anniversary on Saturday, in an emotional new Instagram post.
"4 years ago I put out a record called ARTPOP with @ladygaga. I could write a book about it, maybe one day I will. I lost a best friend and manager, LG lost her entire support team, and we were all alone. I am so grateful for this record because it taught me a lot. I made some friends that have changed my life forever in the halls where this record was recorded, whom I love so incredibly deeply. For all her flaws, strangeness and beauty, I thank you ARTPOP for the lessons learned and the gifts you gave. Happy 4th Birthday. I can’t wait to introduce you to your little sister. #LG6"
Gaga and DJ White Shadow have been working together for the past several months while on the road for Gaga's Joanne World Tour. Sources told Gagadaily that Interscope executives held a big meeting recently regarding Gaga, which most likely means she is about drop something very soon! It's also rumored that she will be premiering a new song via livestream at this years American Music Awards.
