Germany Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage




Days after Merkel dropped her opposition to a conscious vote legalizing same-sex marriage, the German parliament took up the issue and passed a bill doing just that. The bill gives gay couples in Germany the same rights as heterosexual couples, and will allow same-sex couples to marry and jointly adopt children.

It passed by 393 votes to 226 with Merkel voting NO.

Sailor Moon Crystal to Adapt Dream Arc as Two Films!


During the "25th Anniversary Usagi's Birthday Event" screening of the Sailor Moon R movie last night, it was revealed that Sailor Moon Crystal will not return for a fourth season. Instead, the fourth arc of the manga, known as the "Dream" arc, "Dead Moon Circus" arc, or SuperS, will be adapted into two films to be released theatrically. The films will be directed by Chiaki Kon, who directed Season III of Crystal. More details will be released in the coming months.

According to Variety, they were seeking pay equality and didn't get it.

Yuuri Katsuki with Pochacco, Victor Nikiforov with Pom Pom Purin, and Yuri Plisetsky with Hello Kitty are separated into 3 groups under the theme "FIND THEIR FAVORITES". The cute little story goes: After the tournament ends, in their off season, each of them has to find their own important thing.

  • The star of the show, Jerrod Carmichael, broke the news via twitter before NBC could announce the news.

  • Jerrod released a statement to Deadline: “For three seasons (okay 2.5), I got to make a show that I love with my friends. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was 13. Now, I’m excited to go make other things that I love. Thank you to every person who worked on or watched the Carmichael show,”

  • The show had ran on NBC for 3 seasons and became a sizeable hit for the network.

  • Talks broke down between NBC and the shows producer 20th Century Fox TV.

Jackie Chan Is Facing Criticism For Playing A Vietnamese Character




Critics of the Oscar winner's casting in The Foreigner are pointing out the fact that Chan, a Chinese man, is playing a Vietnamese character. The Foreigner involves Chan's character, Quan, a Vietnamese immigrant in London, looking for vengeance after his daughter is killed in a terrorist attack.

A rep for the film explains that the Chan's character in the film is actually Chinese. However, The Foreigner is set to include plot twists and mysteries surrounding Quan's real identity. Though the movie is based on a book by Stephen Leather, certain details have been changed in its adaptation.

David Harewood bored with his character on Supergirl



-While being interviewed by a fan of the show at Supanova-con, David Harewood (Martian Manhunt/Cyborg Superman) lets loose with his displeasure of the writing on Supergirl

-He hates playing Cyborg Superman. Goes on to say that the mask is cheap, costume is cheap, and storyline is cheap.

-Writers told him he was playing Cyborg Superman but never bothered to give any backstory to the character: how/why he became Cyborg Superman

-Is instantly bored and checks out whenever he has to play the character

-Enjoys playing Martian Manhunter but frustrated by how depowered the character is on the show

-Would love to actually play the character physically instead of him being CGI but understands the makeup process would probably be way to long

The lyrics are:

Gibb named Rita Ora, Ariana Grande and for some reason Ed Sheeran as his three destined for the title. He goes on to say about Ed Sheeran: "he has a lot of miles forward of him, and we know Rita Ora & Ariana – she’s gonna have a good future. I am a female singer fan.
